Why Trust RehabSeekers.com?

RehabSeekers is an independent behavioral health directory covering drug and alcohol addiction and mental health treatment providers.

Every listing has a source: an official register, a licensing record, or details the facility sent us.

Credentials shown honestly. Accreditation, licensing and registration listed separately.

Reviews shown exactly as written. Never edited, never removed because a facility asked.

No commission, no referral fees. Nothing a facility pays for changes where it appears.

Contact details always go direct. Calls reach the facility itself, never a call centre.

Common questions

Answered from what is listed here.

Is Solidarity HealthShare insurance?

No, Solidarity HealthShare is not insurance. It is a healthcare sharing program run by Melita Sharing Ministry, in which Catholic and Christian members share each other's eligible medical bills. The guidelines state plainly that Melita is not an insurance company and the program is not offered through one.

Monthly contributions are described as voluntary gifts that are non-refundable, and the suggested share amount is set by a board vote rather than actuarial pricing.

Private Insurance Acceptedhttps://rehabseekers.com/insurance-accepted/private-insurance-accepted/
Does Solidarity HealthShare cover rehab?

No, drug and alcohol rehabilitation treatment is excluded from sharing. The 2025 Sharing Guidelines, effective November 1, 2025, list expenses arising from the use of alcohol or drugs, including rehabilitation treatment, as not eligible in every program: ONE, SAVVY, SHIELD and Legacy Premier.

Drug and alcohol counseling does appear separately under eligible mental health services, so ask Solidarity which parts of a treatment plan could still be shared.

Self Pay Rehabhttps://rehabseekers.com/payment/self-pay/
Does Solidarity HealthShare cover inpatient or residential rehab?

No, residential programs for drug and alcohol treatment are excluded from sharing, even when psychotherapy is part of the program. The healthcare services definitions in the 2025 guidelines rule them out, and no partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient benefit is named anywhere in that document.

Emergency hospitalization tied to a mental health crisis is eligible for up to five days, which is far shorter than a residential stay.

Solidarity HealthShare is not an insurance company. It is a healthcare sharing program operated by Melita Sharing Ministry, in which Catholic and Christian members contribute monthly and share one another’s eligible medical bills under a published set of guidelines. The ministry states plainly that it is not health insurance and that the program is not offered through an insurance company, and the monthly contribution is described as a voluntary gift rather than a premium.

That wording is not a technicality when addiction treatment is the question. The 2025 Sharing Guidelines, effective November 1, 2025, place expenses arising from the use of alcohol or drugs, including drug and alcohol rehabilitation treatment, outside what the membership shares, in every program the ministry runs. At the same time, the guidelines list drug and alcohol counseling under eligible mental health services. Those two lines sit next to each other and the document does not explain how they interact, which is exactly the point to settle in writing before an admission date is booked.

This guide covers what the guidelines share and exclude at each level of care, the pre-notification rules that apply to any inpatient stay, the monthly contribution and Annual Unshared Amount, how prescriptions are handled through Drexi and Misio Health, what “in-network” means for a program with no network, and how to find treatment when the bill will mostly be yours. A listing that names Solidarity or Solidarity/MCS is naming a payment source it has seen, not a benefit, so the name on the membership card is where any call should start.
