PHP sits between outpatient and live-in care. Milwaukee intensive outpatient programs meet for fewer hours, often a few evenings a week. Residential rehab in Milwaukee means living on site. Length in PHP depends on your assessment and progress, not a set number of weeks. Some people move up to residential care, and some step down to IOP.

Will BadgerCare Plus, Medicare or private insurance cover PHP in Milwaukee?

Coverage depends on your plan, so call the plan and the program before you start. BadgerCare Plus is Wisconsin’s main Medicaid program. DHS guidance names day treatment among the substance use services that can be delivered by telehealth.
