If OCD and/or anxiety are ruining your life, this is THEE place to go. The staff is amazing, all of them, and thanks to them, after 20 years of treatment resistant OCD, I finally have my life back! Before the program,… my OCD was so bad that I was going through half a dozen 500-pack glove boxes per month (used them to touch nearly every surface of my house). I had to disinfect all my groceries, wash any piece of skin that touched a contaminated surface (which is nearly all surfaces), and avoided doing so many things to avoid having to de-contaminate myself afterwards. I also suffered from non-stop intrusive thoughts, which made my life a living hell. (they were honestly worse than my contamination OCD, which made my constant handwashing seem like a walk in the park) After completing the program, I only use 1-2 pairs of gloves per day (pet chores), can touch most of my house (without hand washing), no longer disinfect my groceries, and my intrusive thoughts are now substantially more tolerable. I’m not “cured”, but my OCD no longer runs my life, and now I can focus on doing the things that really matter to me most. Now, getting better takes time, but the time you dedicate to this is ABSOLUTELY worth it. In the beginning you may feel like this is dumb, crazy, or impossible—but there is a REASON behind all of it. They know what they’re doing, so trusting the process is a must! The first 2-3 weeks are usually the hardest, and I honestly was ready to give up at the end of my first week. (thankfully I was talked out of it by friends/family). But just as I had been told during my first call with admissions specialist Veronica K (who is fantastic), things DID get easier. The program went from the thing I dreaded most to being something I looked forward to every day. Now, I will be honest, there absolutely were bad days, they were there in the beginning, the middle, and at the end. Hell, there were even bad weeks. But despite all of it, I’m so so glad I never quit. It is completely normal to struggle throughout this program, but after it’s all said and done, you will be so so grateful that you did it. What’s a couple of bad months to get the rest of your life back? Special thanks to Admissions Specialist Veronica K, and the entire OCD Anxiety Center team @ Mesa — Director/Therapist: Ashley Therapists: Aimeerose, Vanessa, William, & Natalie BHTs: Delaney, Alexis, Maddie, Madi, & Alex Facility Coordinator: Karlo and of course, the man himself—Paul Peterson.

This place has helped me in more ways than I can count. I’m coming out of this place stronger than I came in and I couldn’t have done it without the support of the incredible staff here. It is a lot of work but… absolutely worth it in the end

This program helped me more than I can put into words. The intake process was easy and welcoming from the very beginning. Prior to coming here, I was in a really difficult place and had very little hope that things… could get better. This program truly gave me my life back. I am incredibly grateful for the support, guidance, and care I received throughout my time here. I will forever be thankful for this experience and the positive impact it has had on my life.

The IOP program was life changing! When I started the program I never thought I would get to a point that I could do normal tasks buckling my seat belt, locking my car door, plugging my phone in, shutting doors, turning… on/off lights, typing, and many other seemingly simple things without neutralizing but I did it!! I made it through graduation and am amazed at how far I’ve come with my OCD thanks to OCD and Anxiety centers. I have learned so many skills throughout this journey and feel confident in my ability to continue being successful after treatment. I am so grateful for the friendships I’ve built in the program and the amazing team here at the center. They’ve guided me through panic attacks, held me accountable, and supported me through this journey. I will be forever grateful to this program and the progress I’ve made here.

I waited to write this review as a client to see how well the skills were once “reality” set. First and foremost, I will admit the entire process of being a client from before i even walked through the doors till the… last time I left have been a beautiful bittersweet process. As someone thats been to many treatment centers (and i really do mean many, 10+ ) for over half of my life, there has never been a center that helped me discover myself more and truly altered how I live my life more than this place. As cliché as it sounds, healing takes time and takes effort. My OCD , trauma and panic were out of control, it grew and manifested into areas of my life for so long i genuinely believed it was “normal” , so far rooted into who i was and how i operated that I knew “this sucks but this is my life , oh well” turns out… thats NOT my life anymore. I was petrified starting treatment, not only because i have a job and didnt know if i could make it to sessions, but also financially , the uncertainty, but the admin team was extremely understanding, patient and went above and beyond to help me get things situated. They were very persistent (annoyingly so but i think i needed that in order to finally take this step) and when i met the actual team working in the center, my goodness. Everyone has their own unique personality and way to approach treatment (within the guidelines of what they teach) and you will most definitely find someone who explains things and understands you in a way that you need to grow. OCD exposures are hard. Trauma work is hard. Panic is hard. A team can only support so much before you decide you have to take control and put in the hard work yourself too. Youll want to quit, not because of the center but because your diagnosis will fight tooth and nail and scream at you louder than ever before, but if you stick it out… youll win. Because this centers team will teach you , guide you, mold your skills so confidently that when you graduate you wont recognize yourself (in the best way possible) I graduated a while ago, and even now have seen so many wonderful changes in my life i never thought possible. This center, these people, have made me want to live. Not be in survival mode, not just exist with a steady heartbeat, but actually live. I am grateful beyond expression. If youre curious about changing your life, even SEMI ready to fight against what a mental diagnosis has stolen from you, start here. I started my journey somewhere with a score in the 30s and by the time i graduated ended at a 6 and a 72% symptom reduction rate ❤︎‬ Im finally free ◡̈

This Center WORKS! It is hard work and a big committment, but if you truly give your time and effort into it results will come. I had zero probelms with intake, billing, insurance, or communication. I called and was in… the center the following week. The staff are helpful, understanding, and patient with you as you take in a lot of new skills and ways of doing things. It's a lot at the beginning, but the more you do it, the more you understand why! I used to have huge 4 hour long panic attacks and I was constantly ruminating on OCD themes that I didn't even realize were affecting me. Now, I feel more like myself than I have felt in years, and I feel like I have the skills I need, and my support system also has the skills they need to help me. This program truly thinks of patient success after treatment.

I called to get information regarding treatment only to be informed that their scope is actually very small and does not cover prescription medication or PTSD therapies. The person on the phone said that they only do… exposure therapies and it mostly just consists of being required to listen to the trauma until your brain decides its no longer an issue. I know that this specific style of therapy can be very helpful for others but this leaves out a huge demographic of people who need specialized support like myself. I would expect a facility with OCD on the building, would be more comprehensive and inclusive.

This place is the real deal. They have a unique and comprehensive program. Like a nutritionist or personal trainer, they educate you on your ocd and anxiety, and come up with custom created for you “routines” to help… you retrain and rewire your brain. Very impressive in depth curriculum. It has helped me immensely. I feel like I am in control of my life on the offensive, and not feeling like a vulnerable victim anymore. If you have anxiety or ocd this place is the best of the best for it. You’ll be glad you did.

My time here was bitter sweet. You have to know you can commit to something like this before you sign the papers because they really do get onto you about late fees and absences, it’s not a traditional therapy but it… definitely can help if you have overwhelming anxiety that needs to be cared for. You really need to put in the work and they just have the steps laid out for you to take.

This treatment center has done so much for me, i’ve been through so many different treatment centers that i honestly thought this would be like every other and help a little bit but not in the long run. it genuinely has… helped me so much in my confidence and my ocd and im so grateful for it. they are pretty expensive and it stresses me out often however the billing department is really great at helping out so that has made my stress easier.

Doing this program is by far the best decision I have ever made. It has genuinely changed my life. This program showed me how strong I really. I never could’ve imagined the extent to which my life would improve. I have… a newfound confidence and self esteem and I owe it all to OCD Anxiety Centers. I’d like to thank them all for their kindness and support.

Make sure you get an accurate price up front. Dont fall for their “estimate”. Don’t be surprised when the first bill you receive 6 months after completion is more than the estimate. Also, I find it surprising that the… first contact your anxiety patient receives is a warning about being sent to collections. Very first contact after 6 months. Ironic that they send this type of notice to my son with known anxiety. I guess they are just checking to see how effective their treatment was.

The ocd and anxiety center changed my life. Seriously. Before I came here I was struggling with intense ocd and anxiety, after going through their intensive treatment I feel like a completely different person. I’ve… grown in so many new ways and can do things my ocd and anxiety prevented me from doing before. If you are in search of help for anything ocd related, I couldn’t recommend this place anymore.

This program is great and can make big difference if you are committed and stay engaged through the process. The staff is warm, patient, and dedicated. Ashley, the director, is incredibly knowledgeable and always… willing to help guide us through each step. Andrew built an amazing connection with my son—he went from barely speaking to genuinely opening up and trusting him. William is really kind and caring. Overall, the program provided real progress and has a great team.

This place saved my life I was deeply struggling with OCD and anxiety so my psychiatrist referred me here and it changed my life and although I still have OCD it is no longer running my life. I couldn’t recommend this… place enough the staff is amazing and professional. Also getting to know other people with OCD and make friends and able to be open and honest with people and the BHTs makes your days better. On my hardest days this place and people had my back and I felt seen and heard. I can not encourage coming here enough to whoever is struggling with OCD or anxiety. I’ve been struggling all my life with this and the whole experience was eye opening.

This program is truly amazing and so beneficial if you put in the work to achieve it. The people there are amazing and so kind and a joy to see everyday. I highly recommend giving this form of OCD and Anxiety treatment… a try, but you have to be committed.

There is a lot of benefit to be gained from exposure therapy, and you will get that here. I have a much better understanding of how OCD works, and how to mitigate it along with the mental anguish. That said, I HIGHLY… recommend also having a talk therapist versed in OCD while going here. This place does not do talk therapy, I was reminded of this many times. I noticed other patients looking for a one-size-fits-all answer to their OCD and exposure therapy is only one piece of it. This exposure therapy includes trauma work, so if you anticipate doing this, you will absolutely need the emotional and mental support that talk therapy provides (family and friend support, if you're lucky enough to have it, probably isn't enough). Finally, if you're also new to recovery for addiction and/or mental health, this treatment too soon may be too much. In my experience, the program is not designed with any consideration for this type of patient.

We can't say enough good things about this program! We want to thank the therapists, BHTs, and especially the group peers who worked with me each and every day. Your wisdom, patience, courage was a constant source of… support. You never gave up on me, even when I struggled to believe in myself. You helped me see that healing isn’t linear and that it's okay to take one step at a time “Trust the process”. We are truly grateful for this program and all that your team does, it's given me my life back!

We were supposed to have a consultation, but their communication skills are lacking (not great for a place centered around good communication.) The form asked how I wanted to contacted. They didn't use that method of… contact. We scheduled our call via email for 1:30PM. They called at 12:30 PM and left a voicemail asking if I needed to reschedule for a better time. If they can't follow simple instruction, I don't feel like I'd be in good hands.
