How Much Does Treatment at Polara Health Cost?

The cost of rehab in Arizona without insurance is typically $1,750 to $5,600 for a week of medical detox, $3,000 to $10,000 a month for an intensive outpatient program and $1,500 to $5,000 a month for standard outpatient care. Prices at Polara Health itself were not found at the time of writing, so use the Arizona figures as a rough guide.

Polara Health is likely to include medical monitoring, the intake assessment, group therapy and individual counseling in its price, because most programs do. Horrible customer service they pick up the phone and there so rude and The woman had some nerve telling me that I’m not paying my bill with another company so if I come see them, she’s worried that I won’t pay my bill… with there company. Horrible customer service

Getting refills is aweful. They ask how things are going. Its always fine, because I can't trust then to keep up with the level of care they uh, "provide" me now, how the hell can I expect them to provide me with more… care when they can't even do a satisfactory job now??

I started going to Polara a few years ago when I moved to the area because they could provide primary care and mental health care. The providers seem fine but office staff and medication fills have been a nightmare. I… have had frustration after frustration after frustration. I just calmly tried to express my frustrstion and Rhonda told me that she knows and she hears it all day long. I told her that says something, doesn't it. She simply replied yes. They are horrible. I hate finding new providers but I have gotten an appointment for a new primary care and will need to find one for mental health care. Polara is absolutely ridiculous. I would give them zero stars if possible.

I've been getting great care here for a few years now. However, recently it seems that the company that administers Polara has changed. This change came along with a mandate for hours of service per day that the… therapists have to meet. No shows and cancellations are not accounted for. I have been at jobs where there are requirements such as this. It does NOTHING but cause stress and sometimes sessions that are pushed hard to end after the time allotted. At said jobs, people would literally hoard general tasks so they can meet their required hours per day/week/month. This mandate also leads to rapid turnover. I'm not sure the cancellation of that mandate will have immediate results, assuming it's still in place. It's not really my place to check up on these things. I'm just a patient.

It was a good experience overall, not sure why there's so many negative reviews, but in my case, the staff were friendly and nice, and the doctor was great too.

To the President/CEO Tamara Player — you have a sticky, nasty mess on your hands. Your staff is completely incompetent. They need their own form of mental help. Zero empathy, compassion and sympathy (for those… definitely in need) of some humans that actually care. Maybe hold mandatory meetings a lot and often that speak of the core values of what Polara Health is supposed to be, because right now it's chaos. Your staff is only there for a paycheck and they make it very clear. Help, Tamara, HELP!

The larger woman at the front desk was nothing but rude to my family. We were told we can just walk in for our intake assessment and she was very short with us and said it would be 2 weeks until we could have an actual… assessment. This is one of the few places who will see children in the area (unless you're on AHCCCS) and this is the service we get?

I had a psychiatrist gaslight me about how there was no way my meds could be less effective in a certain form given to be by the pharmacy. Certain generic vyvanse that came in an orange pill seemed almost like a… placebo. She then made it extremely hard to get adderall my usual prescription and kept rescheduling my appointments until one day I got a letter in the mail that she was retiring. Today I saw on the news that same medication was being recalled for failing the effectiveness tests… the lesson here folks trust your gut

Onboarded me fine, now I'm left whipping in the wind for any requests I need to make. It's just "we'll get you over to our med team" and then I'm on the voicemail for "team happiness" and they tell me it's "72 business… hours" till they'll respond. 72 business hours? If I'm understanding that right, you guys are giving me a lead time of 9 business days to give me a response? That's barely even service. Not that I got a response even by your lead time guidelines (can't say that's a big surprise). I'm sorry if you guys are swamped, but figure it out. Your service is unusable.

Polara health doesn't call you back when you leave a message on nurses line. I've gone 5 days no call back. I need insulin I see a general practitioner and they don't care about anything but the check. Horrible scary… crooked lazy . Bye polara

I have been getting a variety of services here for the last 5 years. My most recent experience was with CFDT. I called it my brain class. I had more growth in this class then I did with talk therapy, emdr, or tms. Such… as, I could not form patterns, my whole life and I'm 39, this course and my therapist Michelle helped me grow in so many ways that I now have a variety of routines. I feel like such a productive adult! But I've recently heard that Polara has not renewed the contract for CFDT or for THESE amazing therapists. I am so disappointed. This therapy has helped so many, me included, and now it won't be continued. They said the course is moving online, something I'm absolutely not interested in. What a shame Polara. I want these CFDT classes to continue, in person, with a real therapist. So that we get the maxum benefit.

I got referred to them through the VA. I live 45 minutes from there just to have telehealth! The fact that you can just as well do it at home is most frustrating. Then provider didn't ask how I'm feeling or why I need a… certain medication ( tried all alternate meds and he tried to put me on a antipsychotic for my anxiety. Disgusting to me but I had tried them in the past out of pure desperation in prison. If you want real psychiatric care stay away. No sympathy or anything. like he's pre programmed or trained to be a cold as ice dude. Nurse practitioner with no relation to traumatic brain injuries and PTSD etc. these new school Drs are so biased against certain drugs and people punch out of life over stuff like this. Also he held honesty against me so don't tell him the truth ( man bun np). You are warned

Also have been trying for weeks for medical… records that DDS/SSA has been requesting and I am about to lose my SSI because of them not responding.. Please seek your mental health care elsewhere... This place is horrible.

Staff has no clue what’s going on half the time. They don’t communicate with each other or check back on you as a patient. If you can actually get to one of the doctors it’s fine, but the majority do not live here and… to meet with them becomes nearly impossible when dealing with the front of the facility. Would not recommend to anybody, let alone someone dealing with their mental health.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! If you value your loved ones' mental health, please pick a different office. My father was a patient of Dr. Frost. She is incompetent, dismissive, impatient, and over medicating patients. The 2… prescriptions she wrote for my father gave him serotonin syndrome and sent him to the ER. They never once checked in on him, and when I tried talking to the nurse at the office about how manic and delusional he was (hallucinating everything), I got the run around. The last "office" visit he had the Dr. got aggressive, and my dad got frustrated. She told him, "I don't have to deal with this," from a computer monitor while she was in her home. If I could have left a negative star rating, I would have!!!!!

Ended up making the stupid mistake and started to see a so called doctor with the EXCUSE OF A MEDICAL OFF. Staff doesn't seem to enjoy being disturbed during their just sitting behind their desk reading a book. The… N.P.needs to go back to medical school. THEY SAY ONE THING TO YOU THEN TURN AROUND AND DO SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. The Female Nurse Practitioner doesn't smile and act like she hates being at her job and tells you lies. THIS IS THE KIND OF PLACE THAT USES EXCUSES INSTEAD OF COMPASSION. PLEASE TRY OTHER PRIVIDORS BEFORE EVEN THINKING ABOUT THIS CRAPPY PLACE, YOU WON'T BE SORRY FOR DOING SO. THEY ARE ATERRIBLE EXCUSE OF A MEDICAL FACILITY.

Reluctant to try Polara Health due to the reviews, I tried another facility first. With a poor experience at that facility, I again consulted my primary care office and they said other patients had a good experience… with Polara, so I booked some appointments. So far, everyone I've encountered there has been great, but especially my therapist, who is the reason I came here to do a review. Eileen, who is an intern, has been nothing short of amazing! I've seen about 8 or 10 therapists in my life, and she is on a whole different level. She is compassionate, professional, incredibly focused, intuitive, appears to be genuinely non-judgmental, and knows what to say, and when to say it. She has even given me effective advice on things to try for my chronic pain, that many primary care physicians, and pain specialists have been unable to help with. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a therapist.

Your turnover rate is going our children more harm than good! My child has had 2 counselors leave without notice or goodbyes! Some children are there for abandonment issues and this is how you leave them. Shame on you!

My kids have been going here for years. Our therapist is great but medication management and office staff is horrible. I would give 0/5 stars if possible. I have had to go into that facility in tears begging for help… for someone to assist us after weeks of leaving messages, being transferred to multiple people and just being hung up on. My children have suffered because of the incompetence of this facility. To diagnose a child with something and then require the parents to call DAILY to get the prescriptions sent is vile. I asked to speak with a supervisor and I’m told that we didn’t call and no one documented they spoke to us. This is after I had called almost each day for a week asking for help and for my child’s medication to be sent to a pharmacy that has it in stock. We were told again this week they sent our child’s prescription- they HAVE NOT. If you care about your children - don’t bring them here. They have too many patients, the staff does not give a damn about anyone and they will diagnose people with things and then inhibit your ability to treat it by not doing their job. I am a nurse, I have fostered children in this community for years and adopted children with high needs. I am deeply disappointed and disgusted that this is the type of resources available in our community for families like mine. Do better Polara.

My therapist Robert is absolutely amazing. I'm not sure why there's so many bad reviews. If you want to get better, have an understanding of your emotions, or triggers this is the place to go. My experience is Robert… has been absolutely amazing. He genuinely loves his job and the people he works with he puts maximum effort. He is kind patient and understanding. I'm really glad that I took the lead and decided to get myself some help
