Crenshaw Community Hospital – Luverne

On June 14, I was driving solo from PCB back home to TN. A couple hours into my drive, I started having an SVT & pressure in my chest. I was about an hour from getting on I-65. I was uncertain whether to try to find… somewhere to get checked out. Sometimes having an SVT, it will finally subside. I prayed that if I needed to stop, that God would put a place directly in my path. (I had never driven this route before). Within 10 minutes I came upon CCH. From the moment I walked into the ER, I was cared for very well! I am so thankful God put me in their path.

Dr. Walker and staff were amazing. They were very kind and attentive.

Because of a chronic health condition, I have had a number of experiences with ER services and as an admitted patient at Crenshaw Community Hospital. I have confidence in my primary physician, Dr. Charles Tompkins, to… manage my care in a hospital that communicates with him at every turn to make sure that my chronic condition is handled and treated well. To have a community hospital is invaluable, and I have received such good care from ours. While good care is what we expect and what we have received, most of the staff have far exceeded our expectations. They listen to what we have to say and answer our questions. They are quick to respond when we call. They are courteous. They truly deserve five stars.

Staff and physicians were professional and attentive. Didn't have to wait long to be seen.

Worst hospital I have ever been to the only good thing they have about this hospital is both Doctors with the name Walker but aside from that the rest of the hospital sucks and I grew up in Crenshaw county

Was recently in the mental facility for three weeks and I thought I was stuck feeling bad. This wonderful staff helped rehabilitate me back to myself again and I can’t thank them enough. Thank you for all y’all do !!

Although an older facility, I was impressed today by the caring staff. Grateful!

6/26/23 pm, my dad came in suffering from a heart attack. All staff and the dr (don’t remember names of all) were Professional and timely in the treatment of him in his time of need. Our family is VERY THANKFUL for all… of the ones that were working at that time to get him stabilized and transferred. DANNY & Debra Martin Nic & Brandy Ireland

ER Dr was the worst.

I'm not sure why I bothered trying this ER again but the Drs have zero care for the people seeking help. If you have a child run don't walk to a different place. The area doesn't have an urgent care option and the young… Dr staff will lecture you because of their inability to take a competent guess on pediatric care and even suggest you plan ahead for your child's ailments.

I have called the Billing dept multiple times, reference to a bill I received ,only to leave a message. No return calls. After calling Medicare then looking up the ICD code for the procedure the hospital coded… incorrectly. It’s imperative I speak to someone regarding this .

You don't go to a hospital for fun, but the emergency room staff was courteous, professional and effective communicators.

If you are dieing do not go there I been coughing up blood and all they wanted to do is let me lay there and take some meds that's all. Go to Montgomery Baptist South or jackson some of luverne doctors don't care. So… you might get you a good Dr but that's is unlikely

They send mental health patients home without hardly any change… mental health is a joke in Alabama PERIOD!

Everyone was nice and helpful to me.

The doctor was was nice as can be but the nurses were rude a nasty I get covid here and people are dying but that's no excuse to talk to people the way they did and to doctor stuff that's was not said in other u change… around the words.If it not a bad emergency I will not came here it's

I called the ER tonight due to my wife being in intense pain due to her gallbladder and the nurse hung up on me. When I called back they mocked me. The nurse’s name was alecia and it was the night shift supervisor that… hung up on me! I think I’m going to call a lawyer. Malpractice or medical negligence?

Took me 3 hours to see a Doctor. Nurses where very rude should not be working with people especially the sick. Doctor was really nice.
