Center of Revitalizing Psychiatry – Sarasota

My husband went thru the ringer with these people gave his information 3 times filled out some bill form that was 12 pages had to repeat it all multiple times had to give a card to put on file they the charged it $50… workout authorization and then had the nerve to say no to our insurance which covers mental health then said it would be $100 to cancel ITS THEIR FAULT! Don’t trust these people my bank and attorney have already been notified how dare you treat patients with mental health disorders in this way DISGUSTING And never EVEN MADE IT TO THE ACTUAL APPOINTMENT SO DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS ITS A JOKE

Had to stop seeing my doctor over fraudulent billing practices. Now my husband has been charged 4 times in less than 10 days. We are done. Beware and watch your credit card charges.

I had a remote appointment with Michelle Privette. About 15 minutes before it, I went to log in. At that time, I realized that they never sent me the e-mail with the login link and password. I called to let them know… what had happened. They were very rude to me, would not e-mail me the login information, and refused to let me speak to Michelle. I then called back 2 more times and told them what was going on. I was just put on hold for long periods of time, transferred around between various different persons in the office or with their call service, etc. The level of bureaucracy, rudeness, and incompetence was ridiculous. Next, they just eventually disconnected me. I called back for the 4th time and was told that I was late to my appointment, could no longer attend, it, and was going to be charged for missing it. I explained that I had been on the phone nearly 30 minutes now trying simply to get the login information to attend the remote online appointment. Finally, I was called back by her assistant who apologized and assured that they would not charge me. After that all of that, they went and still charged me $173.25 anyway. Very unprofessional!

I have seen Michelle for a few years now and I cannot speak highly enough of her. She is incredibly knowledgeable, empathetic, and patient. Michelle and her staff are top tier in their field. You can't go wrong here.

Would go see again. Professional and polite.

My experience with Michele Privette has been nothing but a blessing to me. Michele has helped me through many difficult times. She has stuck with me through my highs and lows, hospitalizations and daily life. She has… truly helped me live a more full and joyous life. I was incarcerated due to mental health crisis for 8 months, when I got out they refused to see me for my schizophrenia disorder leaving me without my meds.

My boys have had an excellent experience with their therapist Thomas. He is understanding and patient with them both.

The new office looks great!

Was able to get my son in quickly with both a psychiatrist to help manage his medications and a therapist he was able to connect with almost instantly. After a couple of visits with both doctors, we’re very happy with… the experience thus far, and are looking forward to continuing to work with this office

Brianna has been my Psychologist for 9 months and has quickly gotten to my root causes, primarily through my nightmare from a verbally and physically abusive relationship that still comes back in ways I hadn't connected… before. She seems quiet, an incredible listener who winds up the session with recommendations that have plagued my mind for 30 years. And the guilt I have for my elementary daughter in a rush and pull. When I found out he was abusing my daughter, I filed for divorce. 9 Cs studies with her speaking out, and he refused to let her be with me. His answer to the psychologist was that it was ridiculous. Put her in a children’s psychiatric hospital or a Foster home. (I took her out on my own shortly thereafter as she was getting worse, gaining eight stress eating with anorexic roommates whose fathers had molested them. Our daughter is the only leverage over me for a monetary settlement. The judge wouldn't sign the mediation papers if I signed the house and everything over to him, but he swore there were no stock options. I was the stable breadwinner as he had trouble keeping a job due to drinking and sexual harassment. Haven’t even seen a doctor and already they have charged $50.00. Like an entrance fee. Are you serious, what ETHICAL practice charges you a $50 fee to join a medical psych practice? Best part is they don’t even tell… you! Found out by an alert on a credit card that was given on an intake form. Again what type of ETHICAL medical practice does this, scam artists! Be warned!

We really liked the facility. Clean and cozy. They took us in on time and the therapist was very kind, well informed and easy to talk to. We plan to schedule another appointment again.
