Centerpointe is the place where you'll find people who truly care about your recovery. You work in small, very private outpatient groups and they also offer cranio-sacral sessions - which are really relaxing and… releasing. The staff are amazing. They take insurance or you can self pay if you don't have insurance. Take your first step here or step down from residential - whatever you need. This is the place where you'll feel safe and at home.

The staff at CenterPointe is knowledgeable and supportive. I needed information and direction in order to help a loved one through a difficult time. Carrie was able to offer many options for care and support for my… loved one while talking to me about healthy boundaries for myself. Thank you for your help!

I want to start off by saying Jeff and his staff are absolutely incredible. His demeanor, knowledge, and experience really made it a pleasure to work with him and other clients. The sessions were very useful and I met… some really wonderful people. I felt like I should write this as a caution for people enrolling with CenterPointe. I was about 6 weeks into my program when Jeff told me I had a $60 copay due for my sessions, and that he would charge me $180 at the end of every week. It wasn't specified so I assumed I would be charged a $60 copay per session for the next 4 weeks, which I was ok with. I reached out to Kristen and she actually told me it was a $150 copay per session, something that was never mentioned to me during my intake. At this price, I wouldn't have been able to afford the sessions. When Jeff charged my card, I received a charge for $1200; realizing they charged me from every session I'd attended up to that point. I was rather confused that this was not explained to me until I found the charge. The owner called me and mentioned it was legally required they charge a copay, but why wait until 6 weeks into the program to tell me? It would have been feasible to charge me $180 from the start, but that $1200 charge really hurt me financially. I just felt like I was taken advantage, especially coming from a place like this. Again, I want to emphasize how great the team is, but communication with finances really needs to be much better.

Very welcoming , I needed something more than just going to meetings during the week and I found it here, the education and support is great. I also needed to be held accountable and I also got that here. I would not… change my decision of coming here I'm am very greatful.

I have attended several IOPs over the last 13 years and can unequivocally say that I found Centerpointe to be the best for me. The counselors are very knowledgeable regarding addiction - its causes, treatment and tools… to obtain a sober life.

This year has been a challenge to say the least but Jeff Anglin from Centerpointe Counseling has been a Godsend for my son and I. My son has battled an addiction for many years but everything came to a crashing halt… last year when he hit the proverbial rock bottom. Getting accepted into Jeff’s intensive outpatient program helped my son begin and continue his path to recovery. Jeff genuinely cares for the individuals who are struggling to get their life back. Jeff’s group sessions are enlightening and inspirational. His thorough knowledge of the many facets of addiction and counseling really resonated with my son and helped him understand his destructive habits and behavior. Jeff has gone above and beyond to help my son. My heartfelt thanks to Jeff and the entire staff at Centerpointe Counseling & Recovery of Sarasota.

The staff understands addictions and give you the knowledge and tools to help you in soberity.Jeff was an excellant counselor,he definitely was easy to work with and I liked his approach in teaching.Highly recommend… this treatment facility.

There’s no other way to state it - this program saved my life! Jeff, was exactly who I needed to guide me out of the deepest, darkest crevasses that I’d carved in hell for myself. I attended several weeks of outpatient therapy with Jeff Anglin at CenterPointe. He was knowledgeable and empathetic and did an excellent job of addressing the needs of a diverse group. Moreover, Jeff is very responsive… to the needs of his patients outside of regular therapy sessions.

I noticed initial easement of anxiety and back pain right away, leading to more sustained pain and anxiety alleviation as our sessions progressed. Way beyond my expectations. Not to be missed!

Joining the IOP program at Centerpoint was the greatest step I took towards my recovery. The people I met through the group have become my sober community/family. The group is guided by incredible, caring therapists who… take a dynamic approach to group therapy. I always felt completely safe to be myself and to share truthfully. This group inspired me to get excited about recovery and the life ahead of me.

My sibling was in the IOP program, and I was very happy with the communication and responsiveness from CenterPointe. My sibling was not committed to recovery so they relapsed while in the program. Carrie was fantastic… and continues to be a caring resource. My sibling was out of their program yet Carrie participated in and was a HUGE help at our intervention to convince them to return to residential treatment. Carrie has demonstrated her strong commitment to the well-being of her patients, both current and past. I will be forever grateful to her.
