Brighton Center Inc – Brighton Detox and Rehab Services
The register shows Brighton Center Inc – Brighton providing detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Detox runs under medical supervision, and the first three days carry the highest risk with alcohol and benzodiazepines. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.
The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Karen, who runs the place is horrible to deal with. She is extremely rude, moody and unprofessional. She treats her clients like garbage and there is no reason for it. While waiting to dose during her very limited… hours, clients are told they are not allowed to talk to eachother in the waiting area! She makes critical comments about people’s life choices when it’s none of her business. People are there to get help and she will gladly up your dose but when you want to decrease, not helpful at all. She will over ride the Dr.’s ordere for take homes , just to nasty. She makes an unpleasant experience even more unpleasant just because. She treats everyone like they are prison inmates and she is the warden. If you have to go to this place my advice is don’t tell her a THING. Keep to yoursef and never ever trust her.
This place has literally saved my life! Everyone there is down to earth and very helpful. The lady that is in charge (Karen) is like a mother figure to me. I believe she really holds the place together. She tells me… things I need to hear! I couldn’t thank everyone there enough. I’ve read all the reviews on google and I see some people complaining about the place and or staff that work there,I would say I’m not surprised. Having an attitude and not living a life that works for us is the reason why we came to this building in the first place. During our addiction it didn’t matter if we perceived a drug dealer being rude to us we would still deal with them and get our fix. So in recovery we need to have the same mindset! I know for me personally if I felt like someone being rude to me I would never let it stop my recovery!!! We have been through the wringer and some of us are acting like being told to do something different from what you’re used to doing is such a problem. You’re not going to like everything everyone says! It seems to me like you’re trying to hold people accountable for their actions, you perceive as bad while at the same time, not taking accountability for yourself or even thinking about why you ended up here in the first place Just something to think about! Tim.
I would do everything I can to avoid Brighton Center. You must go there between 7:30 and 9:30am. The woman in charge wants to receive texts only. I found her to be difficult and officious.
My partner came here and she’s been to many rehabs. She did fancy ones in Malibu, Beverly Hills and one in Brentwood California. They have great meetings in California and it costs a fortune. She did rehab in Atlanta… which was dreadful. She came to Brighton and this by far was the best recovery center she’s been to. She’s now 10 years sober/clean. Suboxone, meetings, doctors and one day at a time has saved her life and she’s flourishing. I can’t thank you enough Brighton. If you’re ready and looking for a good detox/rehab/recovery this is the best. Down to earth and really will help you get your shit together and life back on track. This is the best balance as they have a facility to offer hospital level detox for the most crucial and acute cases. What’s wonderful once you progress out of the detox there is a very organic program located in the same facility that is not hospital setting with regular rooms. They have a weekly schedule for clients with educational classes every hour so you’re not bored and you keep busy. The classes are enriching and help you understand the disease of addiction. Furthermore they have in house 12 step meetings for inpatients and had open meetings to meet other recovering addicts with more experience. They encourage you to get sponsors and meet other in the community. They know the true success is the after care and plan post rehab. They had also a third program which was a sober living that allowed her to be able to work and leave and have a car and gradually get back into leading a free responsible life with out the burden of being in active addition.
Is my fourth time in a treatment facility I found Brighton to be top notch. From the nurse's to the consulors amazing. Frankly the compassion the understanding from the complete staff was truly fantastic. Still doing… well and I thank Brighton for sending me on the correct path to sobriety.
Awesome rehabilitation center...
I will be honest when i say that I haven't always felt this place deserved 5 stars... They definitely show tough love when needed. But they truly do care and work with you when needed! :)
All around excellent. All workers are kind, helpful and caring. I couldn't be in better hands. Thank you guys!!
There is no excuse for the way the director, Karen Scott, runs this agency. She is unprofessional, verbally abusive, repeatedly violates client & employee’s HIPPA rights and is clearly not suited to work in a recovery… atmosphere. If you go here, expect to be mistreated at best. Your sobriety will continually be put at risk due to the constant onslaught of abuse from the director. The nurses & one counselor I can speak to are the only good things about this office... but I would still recommend you stay away.
Two stars, only because of the nurses, Doctor and counselors. They are excellent. Involved, concerned, interested in how you’re doing and friendly. Unfortunately those adjectives don’t stand up when measured against the… person in charge. There is a level of unprofessional behavior from her so present and pervasive, that you could walk in on any given day and find either: one of her employees or clients crying. For someone to operate a business catering to a clientele of essentially trapped individuals, to speak to people, belittle people and generally make everyone in the place uncomfortable is 100% wrong. She is NOT who she pretends to be. According to the Joint Commission, LARA, BBB and SAMHSA, the behavior all the clients there have witnessed and/or been victim to, is a very clear violation. Go ANYWHERE else and don’t look back. You’ll probably be a happier person for it.
I talked to the receptionist here. Told her I was pregnant and needed to get in and she wouldn’t help me. She even hung up on me and wouldn’t answer my calls again. This place is ridiculous. I tried to tell them I… wanted to come in and that I would pay and she still hung up on me.
