Community Medical Services – Dearborn Heights

This clinic has been amazing and after my recent hospitalization I have even more respect for this clinic. You’re always going to get your complainers but I can’t even begin to explain how this clinic has gone above and… beyond for me in every way possible. If there is a clinic someone should go to, it’s definitely CMS. Even the hospital staff was amazed with how fast CMS took care of business. They especially loved Tiffany. Amazing group of women. They went to war for me, I hope one day I can return the favor.

I'd like to make a special shout out to the ladies Tiffani, Tanya, Lisa, Dominique and Dr Nick for their absolutely outstanding service, bed side manner and overall experience. I came in as a complicated emergency detox… patient with severe underlying auto immune disease and AFIB. Am well known among the medical practitioner groups as a unique medical anomaly from the various health conditions i suffer from ontop of a severe chronic opioid dependacy. Safe to say I'm very seasoned with medical lingo, treatment plans/strategies, the struggles of new patients and many other patient woes. So, I, as the patient came overwhelmingly prepared with meticulously documented list of my systems, substances I suffer from and anything else to help the team. Tiffani was my first point of contact. What a total sweetheart and professional. Absolutely love how she gets down to business on your care without time being wasted. Being in the severe medical state I was in, my intake was very quick, smooth and within minutes was on a tele health call with Dr Nick-this is where things really took off for me. First and foremost, Dr Nick might just be one of my all time favorite practitioners out of the 40yrs+ experience with medical staff due to his impeccable listening, understanding, level of care, and the overall efforts to genuinely offer patients relief of their nightmares. Truly owe my life to this God send as he literally saved me while in the middle of a severe reaction shortly after my first ever dose. Mind you, my case is very complicated, aggressive and being unique. I've found that being forthcoming transparency in the purest way is what will save your life. It's the only method I take due to the constant hurdles and obstacles I face during treatment plans. Wholeheartedly believe, can firmly say that had I of been at any other clinic outside of CMS, my life would have been lost. Dr Nick's heroism was among a top highlight in life for me and will be something to remember for as long as I life. My genuine thanks to a fantastic person who really not only loves helping patients but enjoys medicine. This is a rare and epic experience! In closing, the staff, service facilities and overall care here are nothing short of extraordinary. This shop and the angels who show up daily truly have a gift of not only helping people but are miracle workers for those at the end of their rope. Nothing but my sincerest gratitude, appreciation and thanks to CMS for handling my uniquely difficult case. Pro tip: when in doubt, don't assume you'll be OK as it may be your last ever breath you'll take! Please do your due diligence and research wherever you decide to entrust with your life during medical emerginces

I have been coming here on and off for about 10+ years and I can say I have been to a few other clinics as well and I promise you will not find a more easy going and smooth process and I mean the staff and front desk… are amazing at getting you thru the process as quickly as possible and let me tell you I have b never waited more than 5 mins to be in and out the door on a regular day and they care about u and your recovery.😊 Thanks CMS for being the best clinic I have always come back too when i need help and support! ❣️

I have been going to this facility on & off since 2017. I have seen many staff members come & go, and right now, I believe the Dearborn CMS location has the best group. They have each others backs, they work with… patients to be flexible, and the team as a whole works with synergy. Tiffani has the talent of memorization, multi-tasking, dealing with difficult situations, plus many others all while maintaining a professional & pleasant demeanor. RN Tanya is professional, explains things clearly & thoroughly, and has a really big heart for her job! Counselor Yete gives great talks & guidance. She shows concern for us, in our journey inside & outside of the clinic. She is wonderful! And of course our lovley Dr!!! She is so professional with the best bedside manner. She is one of the only Dr's I've experienced here who really cares. I recommend anyone needing care to come here.

I've been to 2 other clinics so I can testify from personal experience that this place by far the best, most enjoyable clinic to frequent. And for the frequency rate required, this really matters! Tiffany is excellent.… She's very warm and welcoming as well as on top of it. She gets me in and out and that's important for me in the mornings! The nurses are great! (Dominique and Tanya). Even my counselor Lisa is an excellent therapist. I highly recommend Community Living Services!

Don’t use this place if you’re gonna go out of town they’ll play games with you and have you sitting in front of somewhere for three hours why they do their paperwork that should’ve been done in the first place because… they asked you 12 times about it. This place is very ridiculous. It’s ongoing every time that somebody goes out of town here this is the third time so my next step I’m contacting the Better Business Bureau and the state of Michigan and letting them know that you guys play with people.

I truly appreciate the team at CMS. They have been a huge help and I can honestly say I have changed my life for the better in all aspects. Career, friends, family, and my relationship with my spouse have all improved… exponentially with the help of CMS and their team. Tonya is awesome at her job, and she does it with astounding grace. Tiffany is ALWAYS on top of her game and has a welcoming smile for everyone. Yetti is awesome! If you're ready to change your life for the better, I very much recommend CMS! Sorry to any team members I failed to mention, I'm unfamiliar with everyone by name.. All employees I've dealt with have been kind and professional! Thank you all for what you do!

Methadone saved my 1life. The staff are friendly and really care how you are doing. The counselors help you on your way to sobriety and the highs and lows throughout your journey.

I’ve been to a couple different clinics, CMS is by far the cleanest, fastest, and overall one of the best clinics. Tiffany is always a pleasure to deal with. She’s knowledgeable, respectful and goes above and beyond to… make sure everything runs smooth. The same can be said for Tanya and the nurses. Tanya has gone out her way to help me on multiple occasions and is always there to give an encouraging word. The Doctor is friendly and thorough, so are the counselors. If you are looking for MAT treatment I would recommend checking this place out. One negative aspect is the billing process if you are paying out of pocket keep your receipts and stay on top of your payments.

The nurses are so sweet and caring. Nobody here gives you attitude or they treat you with the upmost respect. I feel as if they genuinely care about my well-being. I recommend this clinic over any of the other ones in… the metro detroit- downriver area. They are the best!

My experience at the Community Medical Services clinic in Dearborn Heights has been deeply disappointing and has raised serious concerns about their standard of care. Several critical issues have consistently marred my… time there: 1. **Lack of Physician Oversight:** The notable absence of an available medical doctor is alarming. While nurse practitioners are valuable, the lack of a supervising physician for complex cases undermines the quality and safety of the methadone treatment provided. 2. **Unprofessional Conduct:** I have observed that staff members frequently demonstrate a lack of engagement and empathy. This has fostered an environment where patients do not feel properly heard or supported in their recovery journey. 3. **Accountability and Blame:** There is a persistent pattern where clinical or administrative errors occur, and the responsibility is inappropriately placed on the patient rather than being addressed through internal corrective measures. 4. **Prioritization of Business over Care:** The cumulative effect of these problems suggests a focus on operational efficiency at the expense of genuine patient well-being, which is contrary to the mission of providing compassionate addiction treatment. I believe these practices are detrimental to the health and recovery of patients. I cannot recommend this facility and strongly urge management to investigate and implement necessary changes to ensure a safe, professional, and compassionate environment.

This is by far the BEST clinic around! Each and every single staff member here are equally empathetic and compassionate about the well-being of the community. I have never once felted judged which is extremely important… during the early stages of recovery. I am extremely grateful to be back here. 🙏🏻 Special shout out to my girl Tonya!
