Arab Community Center for Economic and – Dearborn Address, Location and Contact Information
Records give the address as 6450 Maple Street, Dearborn, Michigan, 48126. Dearborn sits in Wayne County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. Journey time and parking are not trivial details when treatment runs several times a week over months.
A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

Dr. Bahaa Al-Wahid—who specializes in autism—is an extremely stubborn and difficult man who seems unable to use his own mind; he acts like a programmed robot and offers absolutely no help to anyone. He is afraid of Arab… clients because they speak from the throat rather than the nose—which he misinterprets as shouting at him—so he insists on using an interpreter even if the client speaks fluent English, hiding behind the interpreter out of a paranoid fear that the client might hit or harm him. I advise staying away from him, as he lacks basic interpersonal skills and is incompetent at diagnosis. He prescribed a medication for my son that caused him to gain ten pounds in a single week; when I raised the issue, he dismissed it as normal growth. Later, even after he changed the medication and the weight gain persisted, he blamed us, ignoring the fact that autistic children often cling to established routines—meaning my son kept eating voraciously out of habit formed by the previous drug. If we were even ten minutes late, he would dismiss us and reschedule for a much later date, forgetting to even prescribe the necessary medication; meanwhile, my son would go into a frenzy—acting like an addict in withdrawal—yet the doctor ignored this, insisting that the medication was not addictive.
Such a great experience at ACCESS Clinic! Everyone was so sweet, friendly, and welcoming. The staff really made me feel comfortable and cared for. There was lady by the name of Teema she was especially lovely she was so… patient, caring, and genuinely sweet. Dr. Amanda was also amazing. You can really tell how much she loves and cares about her patients and how passionate she is about making sure they feel heard and taken care of. Such a beautiful team with such kind hearts. I definitely recommend ACCESS Clinic! 💕
I love Dr Sarah namouu she's a great pa as well as Dr Amanda Minich is a great doctor too.
I cannot say enough great things about this place. My doc is amazing, and is one of the few doctors I have found that listen to their patient. They have great resources for the community, and you can usually see some… type of drive going on when you pull up in the parking lot. They are quick, and efficient, I have even had drs and nurses stay over to make sure I could be seen. This place is a rare find.
Maha in services department had been so helpful very good customer service I was very happy with the customer service she helped me with a bunch of things I couldn’t do on my own and she was very patient with me thank… you Maha for all the help 10/10! recommend Maha for any help ❤️ ill be a loyal customer ❤️
My appointment was scheduled for 10:00 AM. I was made to wait over an hour outside and then an additional 30 minutes inside the check room. During this time, I received no clear updates or explanation. After waiting for… more than an hour and a half, I spoke with the receptionist. I was told that I could either continue waiting or cancel my appointment. This response was frustrating and dismissive, especially given how long I had already waited. Dr. Sarah never came to see me, and due to the excessive wait and lack of communication, I became upset and ultimately had to leave. Overall, this experience was extremely unprofessional and poorly handled. The lack of organization, communication, and respect for patients’ time was unacceptable. This level of service was very bad, and I expect better from a medical access center. I hope this issue is taken seriously and addressed so that other patients do not experience the same problem.
WOW. I have no words to explain the amount of gratitude I feel towards this clinic. Sam went above and beyond to make sure my partner had access to his lifesaving medications without my husband running out. The staff… here are willing to do whatever it takes to make sure their patients are taken care of. I will never be able to pay back the amount of stress ACCESS has taken off of our lives. Thank you Sam, and thank you to the staff that showed up and supported us. You too, Yorwie!
I’m redoing my initial review. There are some things that could be def be improved and I needed a pcp more familiar with my neuro condition as well as be in a larger institution to be able to communicate easier to… coordinate care w/other providers. I appreciate the clinic having providers willing to welcome and work with the LGBTQ community. Plenty of other places could learn from them on showing acceptance to everyone regardless of background.
Good for the services I required! I usually had to go to 2 places, but I was told I could use just this one!
The staff is amazing. I had to bring my son to my appointment and he cries at any dr office, but the staff took him and entertained him while I had my appointment. They r so sweet and patient and so very helpful
Thank you guys really do care
The overall Doctor visits are good.
Very friendly staff and good service.
The whole clinic wants the worst they’ll make it seem like they care but they give 0 help regarding substance abuse
Amazing staff and Dr. Minich is the best PCP I've ever had. Thank you!!
Very nice
Rude staff but nice doctor the staff is unpleasant they talk back
Wonderful staff! Lovely therapist for young children.
I can sit here for days and days and that still wouldn’t be enough time to say ALL of the nice things I want to say about this Amazing clinic. All of the front desk ladies and I mean ALL including their manager Jessica… and some other ladies that I don’t know their names oh and the pharmacist the older lady who’s is always so carrying and so personal and just amazing. Even the medical staff like the guys that check people in and the lab staff they are all so amazing and I do not mind driving an hour in traffic and God knows I hate traffic, just to make sure I get the proposer care . I had a doctor 5 minutes from my home and I will NEVER ever go anywhere else but Access Medical in Dearborn and access mental health. There is a lady name Reem at the mental health clinic who goes above and beyond to help ke and accommodate my son my husband and myself. So if anyone is reading this and is looking for great health care pleaser go to Access and let the amazing people make you feel like family and human beings. I have switched my husband and my son there. Thank you to all of the staff at both medical and mental health for taking great care of me and my family. May God bless each and every one of you and your families.
