I just finished the 120 day program and it changed my life fundamentally in the best way possible.. I came in homeless, penniless, broken and completely lost in my addiction but after adhering to their residential and… IOP programs 100% as intended, I've rebuilt so many facets of my life, I've gained solid employment, was approved a Pell grant and accepted into Schoolcraft college and attending the Fall semester, reconnected with my children and family. Mariners inn also provided me with an amazing apartment in their recovery housing program while I get back on my feet and save for my own place. I truly owe Mariners inn my life. The staff, counselors and instructors truly care and if you take this program seriously.. your life will change beyond your wildest expectations. I came to Mariners inn looking for a hand to grab onto to help me start my climb from "rock bottom" and instead I was given a ladder to personal success and REAL RECOVERY! 🙏 Forever Grateful 😊

I can’t speak to this place as a clinic. But having met many of the employees, particularly the front desk workers, I don’t know how this place hasn’t been closed down.

Be cautious when parking in this lot. I parked in an open lot near my downtown destination and looked around for any signage indicating that parking wasn’t allowed. I didn’t see any at the time. However, upon returning… to my car, I noticed two large signs that read something along the lines of “Park here, support recovery.” As I approached my vehicle, an employee came out aggressively, shouting that my car was about to be towed. I tried to calmly explain that I didn’t realize the lot belonged to Mariners Inn and that there were no clearly visible signs warning against unauthorized parking. She didn’t want to hear any explanation and seemed upset that I got back to my car before the tow truck arrived. I even offered to pay a fee for the inconvenience, but she refused, stating the lot was private. The next day, I spoke with staff and was told that the lot is actually used to raise funds for their organization—you can park there, but you’re supposed to pay. That was never communicated to me clearly, and my offer to make things right was met with hostility (the latter, of which, is why I believe the employee was simply upset that I reached my car before the tow truck). I offered to pay her, but she declined my money, turned her back towards me and set off still ranting and screaming! I want to be clear there were two workers in the parking lot when I returned, one appeared to be a volunteer, a Caucasian woman in a green vest. She was simply amazing. The volunteer maintained her poise, and honestly was the professional in the situation. Kudos, to you madam for being patient. In short, the messaging around this lot is inconsistent and confusing. If the intent is to raise money through parking, clearer signage and more professional communication from staff would go a long way. Until then, I would recommend avoiding this lot unless you're certain of the rules—otherwise, you risk being towed with little warning. It felt like a setup.
