My husband and I were doing couples counseling and really appreciated our counselor however the way lifebulb handles billing was just too much for me. When my credit card was first taken. It was only mentioned that it… would be there for copayments. It wasn’t discussed that all other payments would just be taken without giving me any type of notice, but I left it like that because I did like our therapist. I tried calling to see if I can get a bill before payment is taken because in any practice that’s what’s typically done and they’re not able to do that. Also, when I called to cancel an appointment, the operator didn’t let me know that I would be charged a fee, which is also standard practice to let a client know of any fees prior to charging it regardless of it being on the policy you still let people know. I don’t know. I just don’t really appreciate giving my card and life bulb could take whatever they want whenever they want without any type of notice. Also, the fact they wanted me to sign a form to be able to talk to someone about billing when I made the appointment and gave all our information and the person on the phone didn’t have a problem taking MY credit card for my husband‘s account. It just doesn’t make any sense to me. I’m just disappointed in lifebulb. All I wanted was notice before being charged. Also the receipts online don’t even say if their insurance paid anything or if they did. I believe we have the right to know that too since everything is “on the portal” as billing department says.

Inconsiderate. I made an appointment with Trinh Nguyen after reading all the good reviews. The first session was mostly her giving me disclaimers and asking questions. On the day of my second session, my Internet… stopped working. I was on call with my Internet provider to fix my Internet so informed her of my situation and requested to reschedule the appointment. She immediately responded about billing and no show fee. For a service that depends on trust and empathy, her response was completely focused on money with no concern for my situation. I called billing about the matter and they told me that it is not up to them but the clinician to approve the refund. I later got an email from Jennifer Sims that they are unable to process refund. I sent an email explaining my situation to her but did not get any response. The whole service is disconnected with all the departments trying to only get you to pay. There is absolutely to regard for the client. Very disappointed. Don't waste your money. Update 3/21: I reached out to the help email id mentioned in the comments by life bulb and still haven't received any reply. Update 3/25: Followed up again and again no response from Michael but Jennifer Shin replied saying that they won't refund the money. Save yours and your friends money. Stay away from these scammers.
