Lighthouse Guild Behavioral Health – New York Detox and Rehab Services

Recorded services at Lighthouse Guild Behavioral Health – New York are intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Lighthouse Guild Behavioral Health – New York Address, Location and Contact Information

250 West 64 Street, New York, New York, 10023 is the address held. The city lies within New York County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.

It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

How Much Does Treatment at Lighthouse Guild Behavioral Health – New York Cost?

Before insurance, typical prices in New York put standard outpatient care at $1,500 to $6,000 a month. Lighthouse Guild Behavioral Health’s own fees were not found at the time of writing, so the figures describe the state as a whole.

Programs usually price the intake assessment, group therapy and individual counseling into the fee. If you need a specialized therapy such as EMDR, ask Lighthouse Guild Behavioral Health whether it is offered and what it costs. A direct call is the quickest way to get an accurate figure.

This REVIEW is addressed to the LIGHT HOUSE GUILD ADMINISTRATION. While appreciating your introduction of the AI Services, it's services appeared to be MORE LOSS to the PATIEENTS especially to the SENIOR CITIZENS.… Before when we make a phone call the Customer Service Staff use to attend to the phone calls and were very satisfactorily answering all the questions and were scheduling the required appointments. NOW I AM DEEPLY SADDENED BY THE PHONE OPERATIONS. I AM CALLING FOR THE LAST 3 DAYS FOR SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT AS WELL AS REQUESTING A PAPER COPY OF MY BLOOD WORK. YOUR PHONE SYSTEM IS NOT FUNCTIONING WELL AND IT WILL DISCONNECT THE CALLS AUTOMATICALLY. INSPITE OF CALLING 3 TO 4 TIMES NO PROPER REPLY OR NO PROPER ACTION. THIS NEEDS YOUR URGENT ATTNETION TO RATISY AS SENIOR CITIZEN PATIENTS ARE UNABLE TO GET ANY HELP THAT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT, CALLING FOR MEDICAL RECORDS, BLOOD WORK REPORT etc. THE ADMINISTRTITON MUST PAY IMMEDIATE ATTENTION TO DO RIGHT JOB AS WELL AS POSSIBLE.

Dr. Zimmerman is the best. She is very patient with my son. Reliable, helpful & very soft spoken. We are very grateful to have met her, and we both loves going to have her . She takes good care with his eyes. God bless… her. Cynthia and Natasha are wonderful knowledge and very warm . They helped my son so much. We are really blessed coming to the light house and meeting so great people who we will always remember. Thank you all for being so great with my son. 🙏💕

I participated in the E-Tech Program a the Lighthouse. The program coordinator Eddie Perez is wonderful and extremely supportive. I was paired with two other visually impaired individuals, Kevin and Jonathan who have… the same eye condition (low vision) as I have. The programs purpose is to match senior mentees with younger mentors to help us navigate the technologies of our cell phones and iPads. An excellent program! Kevin and Jonathan were patient, understanding and extremely knowledgeable. I recommend this program to anyone who is dealing with visual loss. WELL DONE!

I went to Dr. Weinstein back in 2012. It’s 2025 now. Still to this day I havent found a better Doctor that has helped me like Dr. Weinstein has. I’m still using the solutions she gave me when I visited her. If I’m not… living in a different state I would uae her top notch services. Thanks again.

Still waiting for a call almost a year . Horrible disgusting customer service or maybe more interested in men instead of women

I tried to refer patients in need of services here because of their great works and mission statement. After several calls/emails with no response from Ms. L.B. Miller and speaking with Ms. J. Katzen they prefer you… send referrals to The Commission for the Blind. Why they took almost a year to tell me that after sending Referrals and trying to follow up for patients that are legally blind and have been waiting is beyond disappointing. Save yourself the time, they do not respond to Referrals!

$700 for flight $70 to go..........................with taxi $350 to visit the doctor......................... To hear what I already know that nothing can be done with my eyes... Waste of recommendation , no innovation… , no better technology.. Not even like a Discount off or something... I think I am in the wrong field.. I need to do optical consultation.

I have been going to Lighthouse Guild for a decade and have always had very positive experiences there. (I should mention that I am not visually impaired, as their medical services are open to anyone.) I am extremely… pleased with the care and treatment I get from my doctor, Dr. Tang, who is caring, attentive, knowledgeable, and always leaves me feeling very well taken care of!

I’ve attended several events hosted by Lighthouse, and they struck the perfect balance between fun and purpose. The atmosphere is always vibrant, the activities are always engaging, and it’s in support of a truly… worthwhile cause. Kudos to them for making fundraising such an enjoyable experience!

Very informative social media channels, not just about their own helpful programs but also about life with low vision / no vision. I recommend to anybody who needs services or simply wants to be a better advocate to… those in their lives with low vision.

The Lighthouse Guild is essential to our City. I am consistently amazed by the work and outreach they perform for those in need of visual assistance. i look forward each day to their social media posts, i am always… learning something new, especially their reports on cutting edge cutting edge technology. Their podcasts, live broadcasts and facebook and X posts are engaging, creative and informative. Also entertaining and professionally prepared and presented. Please keep up the good work and i can't wait to see the next innovation they bring to our attention. Invaluable, creative and professional.

Do not ever go there if they ever offer free tax preparations for individuals who qualify. I went there mid April to file my taxes and entrusted a lady named Dorothy to collect my information properly. Mind you, I am… not a CPA by any stretch of the imagination, so l placed trust in these people that they would file my taxes correctly and properly. After I signed off on my paperwork and waited patiently to receive my federal tax return, the IRS informed me that due to an error the tax preparer made, I'm in the hole for almost $1,000 dollars, so basically, I'm paying for their mistake. I don't think it's fair and I shouldn't be responsible for their errors. I wish I had the resources to resolve this dilemma with the IRS, but l don't. My advice to anyone looking for a free tax preparer for next years taxes is to avoid filing your taxes at the Lighthouse Guild at all costs, unless you are into incompetent tax preparers.

Avoid this place. Staff, including the professionals, are rude and unhelpful. They had nothing at all to suggest for a near-blind 97 year old. What a disgrace!

Very dissatisfied and disappointed with the lighthouse guild. I was referred by my doctor. I am a visually impaired professional who happens to work with another non profit that works with the blind. I called to the day… of my appt to say that I was running late due to Access A ride. Anyone who works with the blind and visually impaired are fully aware of how unreliable AAR can be. Nonetheless i arrived exactly 15 mins late and the Dr refused to see me. I had traveled over 2 hours only to be refused an exam. I will never patron this organization nor refer my friends and family.

I am a legally blind person dealing with a combination of ADOA, myopia, and presbyopia. My life had become a complete nightmare of switching between three different corrective lenses depending on whether I wanted to see… very near, near, or "distance" (which to me is 3'-15' roughly). I was switching glasses so often that they would sometimes break within weeks. I was not hopeful of there being a solution, but Dr. Weinstein gave me a novel prescription that has reduced the switching from hundreds of times a day to dozens. It might sound stupid, but this is such an enormous enhancement to the quality of my life that I can barely contain myself. I am able to function much more normally, e.g. pay for a cab, respond to a text message, tell the shampoo from the conditioner, etc. without any of the insane glasses-juggling that was previously required. I believe you can only get this type of out-of-the-box thinking and solution-oriented approach at a place that deeply understands the needs of low vision patients. Lighthouse Guild and Dr. Weinstein have far exceeded my expectations. The length of the appointments is the only thing I wish could be improved because I do feel a little rushed there; but I am happy to work around it for the benefit of their expertise.
