Dynamic Youth Community Inc – Brooklyn Detox and Rehab Services
Dynamic Youth Community Inc – Brooklyn is recorded as offering detox and residential treatment. Withdrawal is managed under clinical observation before other treatment begins, which matters most in the first seventy-two hours for alcohol and benzodiazepines. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.
Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

Dynamic Youth Community Inc – Brooklyn Address, Location and Contact Information
The site is at 1830 Coney Island Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, 11230. Kings County covers this area. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.
Phone ahead about parking, access and what the first appointment covers. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Admissions lines are frequently busiest early in the week, which is worth knowing if the first attempt fails.

Litterally saved my life. Was difficult and I wanted to leave everyday for a out a year but pushed through, after 1.5 years I started to realize what was happening and started learning how to live. They have taught me… so much and helped me restructure a foundation that I use to this day. These people are doing God's work. Very rare program. I owe them everything. I still visit after being sober from iv drug use for over 10 years as an alumni for the Blu moons.
This place is a blessing... I thank God and Dynamite for helping my daughter and every young person who has been able to overcome their addictions... This place gives them the best tools so they can go out into the… world and live a life free from addiction... but it depends on each young person if they want to recover... my daughter appreciates it and lets herself be helped... and believe me, it's a very good program... Thank you, Dynamite. God bless you always 🙏
Hands down the best program, the staff is dedicated, hardworking and totally devoted to their craft. The care is top notch and for anyone in need of any help there doors are always open!! Dynamite stands for so much… good and represents the community in an exemplary way. Thank you for everything you do!!
I was forced to attend this incredibly painful, and very hard program when I was 15 by my parents who knew no better. Overall, this was one of the most horrible and traumatic experiences of my whole life. The gentleman… that talked me into going I found out was using IV heroin with my brother’s best friend as he was working on intake in Dynomite youth center. While I was upstate, there were many instances of staff and older students being inappropriate, using drugs, and bringing contraband on site. I was also humiliated, with emotional damage, stolen from, and once I finally left, my parents were told that they didn’t know who I was when I ran away and refused to go back there after eight months. This is my testimony, and I would not recommend this place to an animal much less a human being. I am not sure who is running it now, but I’m sure Nick Salerno is probably passed on, and all the staff that were there between the years 2000 to 2002 are culpable in my pain, and probably have a very irresponsible and completely unprofessional way of acting, since I observed this myself as a child. I really doubt that people such as themselves or actually help people. It’s all about client retention and how much money they trying to help their kids.
Rest in Peace Jesse Campbell Rest in Peace Brian L Torture and Domination everyone Who Survived the Torture- House in Dynamite Youth center Life did not get better for 90% of us. We were Young Adults victims of Parents… Abusive behavior , we didn't have a choice , born in Unproductive Unhealthy family were alcohol or drugs and violence is normally accepted. Because of Our own Addiction we was forced to Comply with all the Rule of this place. Because we did know how to take care of our self Dynamite Victimized me even more For any miss behavior , example - Lies they Make my follow brothers or sisters Wear the Sing on The Body , For Lying I was send to Clean scrub bathrooms for 9 days. I saw kids sweeping sun of the road. I saw members on the knees sweeping with toothbrush a Gym . The Victimized kids didn't know Better. I was forced to communicate with my own parents After they Sold me to American men to work for him for my Green card . Dynamite didn't help me. They send me back to Abusive Parents. I did know I could File Federal charges Against Dynamite and my Abusive Parents. To those who think Dynamite helps. No not Everyone survived after few years after the Program Many of us when back to Crazy Abusive places we came from and Most of the completions Still use drugs get arrested and list goes on and on. My friend Alex B miss you Bro ,John C etc. Rest in peace. 56th Wave completion
I give thanks to God and to the wonderful, professional people who work there at DYC Upstate and Brooklyn...because they do an excellent job with these young people. My daughter has already completed a year and is… moving on to the second stage of the program, and the changes have been very hopeful for her and for me! I give infinite thanks to God for that! I recommend this center a thousand times over and I pray that this program continues forever. You can't imagine the immense help this program provides...and how many young people they have restored and given hope and a foundation to continue living. DYC, God bless you forever! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
DYC is truly an amazing place. Our son has thrived here, and has grown and learned a great deal. The staff is very dedicated, and there is even a weekly parents group. Our son is given responsibilities, and there are… expectations and discipline. He loves his position as part of the landscaping crew, and there is a joyful anticipation to transfer to the next phase in Brooklyn. He has been there for 13 months, and we both agree that it has changed our lives.
Helpful program with a dedicated staff. They are really there for residents and fresh start members.
I totally and whole heartedly recommend DYC. My son was in and out of high profile treatment centers for substance abuse dependency. They did not work for him. In fact no facility cures 100% of the SUD’s that come thru… the door. But DYC saves their fair share. They do it giving responsibilities, rewarding efforts and creating a family environment and a life of sober friendships. My sons road has been rocky, he’s been sober 1 year now and making his way with the camaraderie and support of program, sober friends and family
I TRULY LOVE DYNAMITE WITH ALL MY HEART & SOUL ❤️ I WENT IN IN 1986 & COMPLETED IN 1989 DRUG FREE EVER SINCE AMEN 🙏 ONE OF MY BEST MOMENTS IN LIFE THANK YOU DYC ♡
I went to DYC back in 96 it was my first treatment program The experience that I went through was traumatic the counselors verbally physically mentally abusive towards the clients I don't know how it is now I hope for… the better.
Provides a great service to the community, great facilities, professional and ethical staff.
The skills I learned from the staff and my peers allowed me to change my life for the better. Every man makes his own destiny...
BEST PROGRAM IN THE WORLD!
Amazing Place . Honestly, I was a mess before I went in there. The experience felt long at first but days flew by and I felt better day by day. One day at a time. I’m super grateful for this establishment and what… they’ve done to me. I now have a son and have never looked back or even thought about it. It was an amazing experience and I feel tons better than before. Thank you Dynamite and I would definitely recommend this location to anyone struggling, it’s definitely worth a try. It helped me and it could help you too.
Amazing is all I can say! You just have to surrender and allow the process to work and it does 100% if parents and kids are committed to it! Let the process work!
Dynamite is the best program I’ve ever been too, it’s helped me in so many ways and taught me a lot. The staff here are always very sweet, understanding and helpful. I’ve gained beautiful relationships here and having a… stronger connection with my family. I’ve been 2 years sober and I must say it’s been the best 2 years of my life. Extremely grateful to be apart of this family 💜
well my brother spent the whole time here and he’s dead now so idk how much the place helped.
This place helped me a lot.
Thanks for saving my life guys, sorry it took so long. Jen and Scott were the parents I didn't have and even though I split in re-entry, I credit them for everything I've done since then. Still have love for this place… almost 15 years later. I'd just be another dead crackhead without them.
So surprising only few reviews, place is amazing ang blessing, I love the effort I could offered to it to teach myself to thrive forward and seek wills to live and move on. Staff cares, they commit majority of their… lives helping young ones, keeping place tight, and vulnerable at times too :) Never forget friends, families and our fallen ones!
