1 of the worst therapy clinics I ever went to. I was assigned to therapist Claire Sullivan. I was a patient of her’s for a year. I regret I didn’t close my case with her sooner. But I foolishly wanted to give her the… benefit of the doubt. This woman seemed she hated her job and didn’t know how to help people. At that time, I was going through an identity crisis, in terms of my heritage. I was in desperate need of help of dealing with this problem. Instead of giving me support or confidence, she instead said such a racist remark. “But you benefit from white privileged”. I could not believe what she said!!! I should had reported her to the supervisor for that comment but I didn’t. Thinking it would make matters worse. That was the end of her. So yeah this place is total garbage. Don’t come here folks!!!
Honestly, I have been with this place for about a year or two. My experience here was good in the beginning of the year but recently it hasn’t been since my therapist would go off to vacation at least every month and I… have to wait for two weeks. Thankfully, I had medication to keep me stable. Yet, they closed my case because I kept canceling my appointments. Life happens and I wish they were more flexible with having meetings on zoom or something because sometimes getting out of bed or work gets in the way or school so it gets difficult to manage it all.
Horrible patient care, they do not care about patients and take advantage of the fact many of their patients don't have many options when it comes to their mental health in the area. If you have a choice - do not go here
Very friendly staff at reception, and all the staff helped me afterwards
I love the attention and safe place to be able to talk to mental health professionals.
Great help. Never feel alone there is always someone can listen to you.
Waited 3 hours for my first appointment following a hospitalization without any mention that this is part of their intake process. They’ll just have you sit there and wait with no mention of anything. I needed… medication on the 20th of November and I began seeing them in early November and they couldn’t schedule until the second week of December (now 3 weeks without medication - I did try to find other places/doctors with no luck). Today is my appointment after waiting a month and a half to be seen and it’s been 25 minutes with no NP coming on to the zoom call. Avoid this place at all costs. Completely unprofessional and couldn’t care less about your health. I don’t know how they’re in business honestly.
Very nice place great people work there my therapist is awesome
If you’re trying to find or improve your mental health. Please do not come here. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU. I was assigned a therapist who just saw me three times. I came with a lot of depression and anxiety. I needed help… and I was desperate. Two weeks later she says she was going on vacation and that I will get an appointment after she was back. It was about two extra weeks without help. I had to go to the ER to get some help and medicine for my state of mind. I came back as the ER doctor advised me to continue with my therapist since the google phone number doesn’t connect directly with them and since my therapist never called me back I came many times in person for THREE WEEKS!!! I came today and my therapist came to give me a “dismissal letter” to go somewhere else. What kind of place is this? People come with their problems trying to find help but they only waste your time. I feel disappointed and upset. They could just put me with a different therapist or they could’ve been on top of my case. Nobody there is accountable for this. They just want to get rid of you as a disposable thing. I’m sorry. I’m so sad that I’m trying to find help and not even these therapist are empathetic with their customers who are in need. I didn’t miss two appointments because I never had the chance to be call to make a follow up. Just missed one and now I’m dismissed? This is frustrating and I came here to express it. Hopefully this helps people to think twice before seeking for help here.
I've gone the last three Thursdays practically begging because I need a consultation. I arrived at 9 AM, I was first in line, they wouldn't let me wait seated and made me stand outside until noon to tell me there was no… one available to see me. The reception staff are despots, they have no respect. The director needs to look into the service. If someone goes there, it's because they need help, not to be humiliated and treated with such disregard for the fact that mental health is paramount.
I have had an absolutely horrific experience at this place. If you're someone who loves to waste your precious time, this is the place for you! But if you actually want help with your crippling and ever deteriorating… mental health, DO NOT BOTHER. Edit (2024)- CLAUDIA SALAZAR IS INDIFFERENT TO PEOPLE'S SUFFERING AND ONLY CARES ABOUT PROTOCOL. SHE DOESN'T SEEM TO BE AWARE THAT SHE RUNS A FACILITY FOR THE MENTALLY ILL. SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE HER JOB. CALL ME MA'AM AGAIN CLAUDIA AND I'LL KEEP WRITING NICE LETTERS FOR EVERYONE TO SEE.
While the staff were unable to assist my client they did endeavor to keep my client calm and clearly direct him to another program that may be able to service him. Thank you
Excellent, very good service for new patients. Mondays and Thursdays are first-come, first-served; you have to arrive early.
It's unfortunate that they don't give you an appointment if you're new. Only walk-ins on Monday and Thursday for intakes. Went there twice and was turned away saying there are no staff available. If you don't have any… staff don't tell people to come in. People can't just keep taking off days and hope there're staff available. Bad system and wasted time. 👎
this place is awful. They don't care about people, they only care about the money they take from insurance. They only have one psychiatrist for all cases, the secretary is rude, nobody cares about anything. I asked to… speak with the supervisor and she is an ordinary person, she does not have the slightest interest in patients. I do not know how they hire a person like that for this position.
👎 The biller Sthephanie is a horrible person with no empathy with sick people
Poor customer service
This place is horrible even if you make an appointment you have you wait over an hour just speak with someone the front desk workers are so disorganized and don't care about anything.
Really nice front desk staff that are very knowledgeable to the questions and concerns I had. Unfortunately if you’re a new intake good luck getting a spot. Monday and Thursdays between 11 am to 2 pm are their walk in… days to get evaluated in order for you to setup a future appointment. These spots fill up so quickly it’s not worth it to go in. I wish they would implement an appointment system for new intakes so that at least people with school and work can work around their schedule. Again, really nice staff and the place was clean when I walked in. If you’re planning to drive here don’t, it’s difficult to find parking.
