Jawonio is an EXCELLENT agency that helps children and adults with disabilities. The new building is beautiful and the staff who works there really care and enjoy their job.
A place for healing from caring folks
I communicated that I needed help transferring to a new program. I received 0 help transferring. I lost out on a $10,000 student scholarship as they sat on it for 8 months refusing to do it until it expired. The… counselor would only give me 15 minutes over the phone once a month when she was supposed to give me an hour 1x a week. The year I was a part of jawanio the doctor would tell me the day before we had an appointment, an appointment we never scheduled. This facility is for low functioning people with disabilities. Not for people with jobs who are parents. The program will drop you. I thought they cared about me. They don’t.
