Pathway to Recovery – Hazleton Address, Location and Contact Information
The site is at 223 West Broad Street in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, 18201. Hazleton sits in Luzerne County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. The practical question of getting to appointments week after week is worth thinking through at the outset.
A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Pathway to Recovery – Hazleton Reviews and Ratings
Pathway to Recovery in Hazleton can be understood partly through its license and accreditation, and partly through what patients say. Read their reviews here, and leave one if you have been in treatment at the facility.
I’ve had a few seperate counselors here and they were all very caring and understanding. I’ve never felt judged or rushed. I can only say great things about this place !
Horrible customer service. I called seeking help for my ex-girlfriend’s sister, who lives in Hazleton, PA and suffers from a gambling addiction. My ex-girlfriend lives overseas and reached out to me to help find… resources for her sister. She is a native Spanish speaker and does not speak English well, so I was simply trying to be pointed in the right direction to get her assistance. The response I received was, “What kind of information are you looking for?” I replied, “I’m not sure—that’s why I called. I don’t know the process or whether you offer services for gambling addiction. She needs help and does not speak English.” This somehow seemed confusing to the intake person, who kept trying to clarify whether the person needing help lived overseas. I explained multiple times that my ex-girlfriend lives overseas, but her sister—the one who needs help—lives in Hazleton. I also explained that I live in Florida and was calling to gather information on her behalf. The final response I received was, “Just have her call us.” If it were that simple for her to call on her own, there would have been no reason for me to reach out for help in the first place. I was disappointed by the lack of guidance, empathy, and willingness to assist someone trying to help a vulnerable person access treatment.
i have a hard time getting from place to place Something i told them when i started, Suddenly they flipped at me and made me extremely depressed... A therapist making me feel worse.... opposite of correct....i was… broken and depressed for a couple days .. moment i walked in one day i was yelled at and they forced me to hear topics they already know negatively affect my mental health....i cant do it....they were horrible to me
The counseling is the best dr. Bob an dr. Beth. There the best there is. They really do care about there Patients. I rate them both a 10.
Matt M is the best counselor I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend him, he’s kind, caring, and very supportive of the lgbt community!!
Immediately upon interacting with the staff I was able to identify without doubt that they are in fact human beings.
Excellent services. They helped me through my drug addiction struggles and my counselor for mental health, is great. They listen to my issues and is there for me. There not just a place for people with problems there a… place that gives me hope.
All I'm going to say is that I have a full time job in the evenings, because I have bills to pay, I can't just switch shifts whenever I want. Just going to leave this here.
Poor customer service. Unprofessional practices from the CEO down. Shady insurance billing practices. CEO states she’s “on [her] way out and [doesn’t] care what happens to this place afterwards.” It’s shocking that… Luzerne County uses this “resource” for residents seeking substance abuse treatment. Considering how prevalent substance abuse is in this area you would think they’d ensure the facility was reputable and effective before contracting with them using taxpayer money.
Some of the counselors are fake just there for a pay check
2 of the groups I was in were wonderful therapist was late never gave me a full 45 minutes and was acting like a drug and alcohol trauma specialist and all she did was make me feel bad tried forcing me to go to meetings… when I have PTSD and most of the trauma was caused by addicts not saying we're all bad and would complain about my occasional pot smoking I got drug screaming by my suboxone doctor and he said he doesn't mind I smoke pot I have bipolar disorder PTSD and ADHD and well can't get benzos on suboxone then was trying to talk me into going into rehab for pot really I never showed up under the influence I'm supposed to go back there what a joke
