Recovery Centers of America – Devon Detox and Rehab Services

Recovery Centers of America – Devon carries a listing for detox and residential treatment. Detox runs under medical supervision, and the first three days carry the highest risk with alcohol and benzodiazepines. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

I had an great experience in RCA Devon form the staff to the community. Very welcoming and friendly making my recovery a lot smoother and comfortable. That alone makes it so much better for my recovery and well-being.… Focusing on what's important and giving me the tools I need for the real world. Definitely recommend to anyone that has been in my position. Also the recovery living is by far the best I've een in.

I've had the unfortunate pleasure to be treated 3 times at RCA. This 3rd time in treatment i buckled down and started taking suggestions and took the cotton out of my ears and shoved it in my mouth. RCA's staff, from… RSS, group facilitators, therapist, OP program, and last but not least the Alumni program gave me the tools and time to get it right.....today! I owe much gratitude to the support I received and continue to receive from RCA!

They called the police and told them I had warrants after I left ama. It was not an issue until I no longer wanted to be there and they weren’t getting paid anymore. Do your self a favor and find another place. Im now… sober over 3 years and got my help from other addicts who actually care .

They tried to tell me I didn't come in with a phone. I did and refused to leave until I got it back. Funny how only the nice clothing I had with me and expensive power bank were the only things to not be returned as I… was being rushed out the door due to severe detrimental care. I can go on and on this is only the tip of the iceberg for example taking 2 nights to get a change of clothes and my toothbrush and soap to shower leaving me sweaty and gross for 2 days. Don’t even get me started on the therapist I originally talked to on my 1st day (not my therapist) one of the lead ones there on weekend. Used my past traumatic experience against as ammunition trying to get me to stay at the facility. Still not even close to everything that went down 3ish days I was there. I would definitely not advise anyone to go to here. Severe lack of communication, empathy and care. Rooms were the only thing nice about the place.

They took money from me as a deductible that they weren't suppose too as all of pockets were met. They refused to refund. I'm in process of complaint against them with attorney general of Pa looks like I'm not the only… one they upsell to your insurance for services not rendered

Don't send a loved one here if you plan on never hearing about their progress from their therapist. My loved one had the therapist Christina and she called me once to say they arrived and that was it. I knew nothing… about their treatment going forward. Also if you plan on trying to contact a clinical director or executive director to express this lack of communication dont bother, they dont care. If i could give zero stars I would. Apparently there are visitations and family sessions available but I was never told that which is so disappointing.

I would strongly caution anyone considering this facility. This place participated in admitting a fully grown 32-year-old man under circumstances that were not transparent or respectful of his autonomy. He was taken to… a location far from home without having a real say in where he was going. Yes, he was willing to get help but that does not mean stripping someone of their right to choose where and how they receive treatment. Instead of creating a safe, supportive environment, this situation has done the opposite. It has heightened his anxiety, triggered past trauma, and made him more fearful of the recovery process itself. That is the exact opposite of what a rehab facility should be doing. What’s even more concerning is the lack of communication and clear bias. Calls from someone actively involved in supporting him were ignored, seemingly based on one-sided information. Isolating a patient from supportive people is not treatment—it’s control. Recovery requires trust, respect, and patient-centered care. This felt more like a system prioritizing intake over the individual. No one should feel trapped, unheard, or misled when they are at their most vulnerable. Do better.

You cant imagine the incredible experience at RCA. I was being weaned off valium (post AFIB) and needed to be monitored. But I went to most of the sessions with these healing addicted people. Seeing these people getting… their green bracelet and the smiles and friendliness was life changing and responded to them with congratulations. These people are my heroes and the sessions were amazing. The "Serenity Prayer" has been a relationship lifesaver. I know people friends, who were RCA and they also think it a amazing. Everyone for Tony, the sweeper, to the food servers really care!. Thanks for reaching out. I have a prayer list of friends from RCA, I pray that list at 9 PM, your now on that list! If you dont mind, please forward to Daniele and Dana. G-d bless!

Rca Devon was such a great experience. The staff is outstanding and I’ve build friendships with a great crew of men from there and we’re still all friends to this day. That was 3 years ago now. I don’t know where I’d be… without treatment. I highly recommend RCA for anyone considering taking back their lives from addiction!

Devon truly stands out for the level of care and support they provide. Our clients consistently report feeling welcomed, supported, and well taken care of from the moment they enter detox through their time in… residential treatment. The staff is compassionate, professional, and committed to making sure each individual feels safe and respected during a very vulnerable time. It’s clear they genuinely care about the people they serve and the partnerships they build in the recovery community.

RCA helped me a lot! Deciding to stop drinking was a very difficult decision, but with the support from RCA, I was able to do it. I am now 2+ yrs alcohol free! It is important to keep busy during the days and attend as… many sessions as you can. I would highly recommend RCA to anyone looking to ditch the dependency.

Outstanding facility and staff. I was fortunate enough to go through their 30 day inpatient rehab, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs and currently in their recovery living. I’ve struggled with… addiction for over 20 years and this is the only facility I did not want to leave early or leave against medical advice and never had I stayed this long in treatment. The alumni organization is like none I’ve ever seen! The alumni meeting on Tuesday nights is overflowing with former clients and we always run out of seats! I have never experienced fellowship at this level! If you want to save your life or try to save that of a loved one I would highly recommend Recovery Centers of America!
