Dont recommend for neurodivergent people, they instead blame you for your symptoms and tell you to try harder even with a diagnosis. Find a different psychiatrist if you can find one in network.
They are very professional at BHR Rendi is my counselor she's the best. Ann is my psychiatrist. I can't even begin to explain how much help they've been to me. I always look forward to my telephone appointments weekly… with Rendi she really knows how to get into my mind and gives me more options in different types of situations which allows me to make better choices. I have schizophrenia not by choice I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy so I've got it and I have to deal with it daily as long as I stay on my meds and stay in contact with my counselors and psychiatrist I seem to do well but the minute I decide I don't need my meds everything goes to hell in weeks the schizophrenia has really destroyed half of my life I really wish I didn't have this disease but there's nothing I can do about it except continue to take my meds and continue my counseling with Rendi and Ann... That's basically all I have to say Behavioral Health Resources is great I have no complaints they've done nothing but help.

I don't like my counselor at bhr I hate her
They have an on-site psychiatrist who you can talk to about side effects of you medication as well as mental health symptoms. The case manager's there micro manage the lives of their clients. I can see where it would be… helpful for low functioning clients but I've seen higher function clients regress due to a lack of independence and having someone to control everything
I AM IN COMPLETE DISGUST OF THIS PLACE. DO NOT COME HERE. THIS FACILITY IS A JOKE AND THE STAFF (Wicked witch of the west and the wicked witch of the east) BEHIND THE COUNTER ARE THE MOST RUDE AND MINDED STAFF IVE EVER… MET. THEY SERIOUSLY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO REGARD FOR THE PATIENTS AND THEIR MENTAL HEALTH NEEDS. THEY NEED TO BE REPLACED WITH PEOPLE WHO VAN ACTUALLY DO THE JOB AND ALSO BE NICE TO PATIENTS. IT IS NOT THAT FLIPPING HARD TO BE NICE. INSTEAD THEY ARE SNIPPY, PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE, PRUDE, RACIST, AND CLEARLY DENSE MINDED WITCHES. DO NOT GET SERVICES HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT ENTIRELY OR HAVE TO END UP GETTING SERVICES SOMEWHERE ELSE BECAUSE I GUESS THEY ARE JUST TOO DAMN BUSY TO DO THE RIGHT THING TO HELP PATIENTS. DONT LET THEM MAKE STATEMENTS TO CALL YOU BACK EITHER BECAUSE THAT WONT HAPPEN. MY COUNSELOR SAID THAT A WEEK AND A HALF AGO, IVE EVEN CALLED HER BACK A COUPLE TIMES FOR HER TO TELL ME AGAIN SHE WILL CALL ME BACK. I STILL HAVE YET TO HEAR FROM HER. NO JOKE, I HAVE GOTTEN BETTER SERVICES INSIDE A BATHROOM. SERIOUSLY DONT WASTE YOU'RE TIME ON THIS PATHETIC EXCUSE OF "BEHAVIORAL HEALTH RESOURCES". NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES WITH ANY IF THE OTHER 'BHR' FACILITY. NOW I HAVE TI WAIT TO HAVE THEN RELEASE ME SO I CAN GET SERVICES SOMEWHERE ELSE. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE HELP.
