LRADAC – Lexington Detox and Rehab Services
Treatment at LRADAC – Lexington covers intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Confirm what a program covers before committing to it. What suits one person will not suit another, so ask directly.
The focus here is on one side rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask what the assessment recommends before comparing anything else. Waiting times vary, so it is worth asking at the first call.

Great people
My son had to attend counseling here in order to get back into school. A counselor told my son that it wasn’t mandatory to stay. When I would drop my son off, he would have one of his drug friends pick him up since the… counselor told him he didn’t have to stay. This class was used as an excuse for him to go use drugs with his friends so we ceased counseling. Also as I sat in the lobby several people stated how many times they were ordered to get counseling here. It was a joke.
Please take the time to hear my story that went from the tragic loss of my counselor ending with resilience, strength, and triumph, as I successfully completed the course. LRADAC’s Outpatient Program was absolutely… amazing and truly helped me change my life. From the beginning, Brooke, who placed me in the class that was the perfect fit, showed genuine care and understanding that set the tone for everything that followed. My counselor, Arianna, was beyond incredible. Everyone in my class would agree she was made for this work. She poured her heart into helping us and genuinely loved what she did. She had recently gotten married and was starting a new chapter in her life....Then, in a moment that shattered us all, we walked into class one day and were told the devastating news: Arianna had been murdered by her husband, who then took his own life. The pain was unimaginable. Continuing the program without her felt impossible—but we knew Arianna would have wanted us to push forward. And with the strength of our group, and the incredible support from the staff, we did just that. A special thank you to Casey, our life coach, whose dedication and encouragement helped carry us through such a dark time. This program works. The people at LRADAC care deeply, and I will never forget what they did for me—or the amazing spirit of Arianna. If you’re considering getting help, give this place a chance. It might just save your life.
Don’t think for one second this place will help you if you’re not scheduled for it. Had a good friend that was struggling with substance abuse go in on under his own strength, to look for help and/or treatment options.… Went in at 11am - they advertising seeing customers that need help (walk-ins) between 830am-3pm M-F; but they ASKED HIM TO COME BACK TOMORROW. What an absolute joke of an establishment. He even made the comment “sorry I chose to get help at the wrong time”. I will never be referring another individual to this location EVER again. If you need help, please do not go here. They obviously, absolutely, DO NOT care. I am absolutely appalled.
The 5 star is for Miss Elizabeth B. She really is great at her job. Very understanding and relates to many of us. She genuinely cares and lradac is blessed to have someone like her there
This place is nothing but a money grab. Why so expensive if mandated by the COURTS!
This is a great place to start on the road of recovery. Thank you to all the staff, and fellow patients who helped me to find a new way to live. 🙏
False promises to clients on issues and subjects that are life altering. Say one thing and do another. Not to be trusted
Awesome place. I went in May 2012. Still clean after 9 years.
The staff not all but majority doesn’t care about keeping you in there. Mrs. Shannon my counselor stated that it will take up to 8-12 weeks to complete services with them. I completed my 12 weeks and been having… negative drug screens, they decided to discharge me MY LAST WEEK of services because I couldn’t attend a new class that was planned a week before the actual service, when I come there faithfully every week. I let her know I will try. I gave her a maybe. So it shouldn’t be no surprise if I didn’t attend. I come every week consistently sitting in them boring classes learning about something that has nothing to do with why we ended up here. They have no heart for the people who break there necks getting there as along as we come they get paid for us attending so if they can prolong us being there they will. They have so many policies and Lardac rules it’s sad but never follow through or stick to the code. I been so patient with them when MANY OF TIMES they drug screens never come back because of a “problem in the system” but they couldn’t be patient with me? So double standard. I explained my situation to many people (manager) still waiting on a call from Victoria where I left several voicemails. Due to me working very often it is impossible for me to make time for another day out of the week considering I already come once a week they wanted me to come TWICE. Inconsiderate. Like people don’t have a life and other responsibilities to take care of outside of this program. So hopefully this program doesn’t make me start over. I would like to put a complaint out to a GM cause nobody deserves to be treated as such so if I can help the next person from dealing with this mistreatment I will do so.
I love this place, they have went above and beyond to help me! They have the best treatment team and I would absolutely encourage anyone struggling with addiction to reach out to them for help!
It is a decent program if you want it to be. Very informative but also very expensive.
Excellent presentation very helpful Nice laid back environment. You learn a lot of new things about substance abuse of all kinds. Very helpful people They care about your problem no matter what is is you need help with
Milked my insurance and now im in debt. I was one of the few people in the class who wasn't on Medicaid. Only was in LRADAC cause I was arrested on a misdemeanor and popped up for marijuana. My plan was to stop doing… everything as soon as I found out I was pregnant and ive been clean for a year (with no help from LRADAC). People who were on medicaide, still on probation, were always late or didnt show up to class, and who were getting arrested for popping dirty on the drug tests were let out before me. Meanwhile i was participating, never late, rarely missed a class (and when i did it was for medical reasons). And never had a single dirty drug test! Now im in $10,000+ in debt because im a 17 year old mother living in my own and cant pay the bill. All I have to say is LRADAC is greedy!👏👏👏
I have started my classes. Im so happy with the consular. She's very caring and professional. A positive environment. I look forward to competing, and receiving my drivers license. Thanks so much!
This place is a joke and needs to be shut down. They do nothing more than harass people at the lowest points of their lives. All while draining them financially. The youth program does nothing more than scare the money… out of loving parents. You won't find anyone who went here that says they benefited from their experience here. This is NOT a " treatment center" it is a bank.
