Life Stone Counseling Center – Midvale

I had an amazing experience at Lifestone. Every interaction was amazing. The environment was so inviting. The ketamine infusion was handled very well. I will definitely continue care with Lifestone.

Tonya has been actually spectacular!. With things the way they are these days it’s hard to find good communication and good connections with doctors, clinicians and everything else for that matter. Life Stone has been… very good to work with and Tonya has been very relatable and helpful in times of need. Nothing but good to say about her and this facility. I look forward to working with Tonya for the duration. She’s always willing to help in good times and the bad :-) thank you Tonya! I’ve got more to say, but I don’t want to bore everybody. I’ve been with a couple providers in my lifetime, but Tonya has been the absolute best and a pleasure to work with. She’s very pleasant and helpful.

They are always so helpful and the providers are very straight to the point and kind.

I've been going here for close to a year now, all of the therapists I've had so far are very good! And the environment is very calm too.

My children are seen at Life Stone. Best move I ever made!!! The receptionists know who my kids are, and who they are seeing, when we walk in. VERY personable people. From one human being to another, GO TO LIFE STONE!!

I literally don’t know what I would’ve done had I not found Lifestone. Tonya and Trevor have literally saved my life quality of life. They’re so down to earth and easy to talk to, I truly love them and 100% recommend… them. Reception and billing are also awesome. They get back to you asap and make sure whatever u needed was resolved. Of If I could give this place 10 stars I would, because that’s what they deserve.

This review excludes Tara and Mikayla which is the only reason for two stars without them I would have found a new place of therapy a long time ago. The staff is inattentive and does not know how to properly deal with… the type of cliental that visits a place of therapy. They have mass turn over and contuined communication errors, many times I have owed random amounts because they cannot figure out proper billing and fail to communicate with me the changes. Furthermore the amount of insurance companies they will work with is extremely limited. Multiple times I have had to cancel an appointment and they failed to let my therapist know. They set for your appointments for a year out but if they expire they won't talk to you about renewing, some people are struggling and need the reminder and can be looking for reasons to quit, take charge and help them continue their therapy. Their online system is completely antiquated and downright embarrassing for today's standards. I absolutely appreciate Tara and Mikayla for they continue to properly take care of me, and I would highly recommend Tara for therapy if you can get past the support staff issues. Please take time to train your staff on communication and how to properly deal with those that are struggling on a daily basis. Maybe if you spent less time trying to add more decor those things could be accomplished?

I started coming here a few months ago, and it's changed my life! This has been my first experience with therapy/counseling, and I could not have chosen better, I truly believe that. 10/10 recommend for anyone thinking… about starting this journey. My therapist is a perfect fit for me, the front desk staff are so kind and friendly, and the atmosphere is so welcoming, putting you at ease. I'm so glad I discovered this place🙏🙏

Amy Gillespie is the best there is out there. I had tried other therapists before. She knows how to listen and care about her clients

When you know you know. It took me a little while to find the right therapist for me. Finding Natalie at Lifestone has changed my life for the better. She has helped me find clarity, direction and peace in so many parts… of my life.

The Providers I have seen have all been amazing. I’ve felt seen, heard and listened to. That being said, like others, I’ve found their billing practices to be questionable. First, I returned after a year hiatus and was… told I couldn’t schedule because I had an unpaid balance in collection. Turns out, that was not the case and that invoice had been paid 1.2 years prior. The next issue I encountered was a late cancellation on my part (3.5 hour notice) . I was told because they were able to reschedule me within 7-days, that fee would be reduced. We rescheduled for less than 48 hrs later but on the day of my appointment with a 35 minute notice, my Provider cancelled. No big deal, they were sick and that’s understandable. I reached out to billing to request my cancellation fee be waived completely and was gaslit and told that the fee was already reduced as a courtesy for my provider being unavailable… um.. no, it was reduced two days prior and completely separate. I asked that they understand that I too am a busy professional so late cancellation of a meeting that I had planned around effects me no differently than when I cancelled on the provider and to call it a wash. Their response was to tell me that they do allow a one-time fee waiver that they allow clients to use. I didn’t find that fair and thus cancelled future sessions. Very silly to lose future revenue over something like this. To me it shows they care more about meeting metrics than caring for their clients.

My therapist Keri is amazing. Has helped in so many I don’t have to list them all.

My daughter has been seeing Lexi for over a year now and she has been wonderful to work with. She was able to help my daughter open up about the stressful things in her life and has given her good coping skills. Lexi… communicates with me when she has concerns. We appreciate her so much and my daughter always looks forward to therapy. I highly recommend her!

I called because I’m planning to move to the area soon, and I had the pleasure of speaking with Makenna. She was incredibly kind, patient, and easy to talk to from the very beginning. She took the time to answer all of… my questions thoughtfully and made sure I understood what to expect, which really helped ease some of the stress that comes with finding a new place for care. You can tell she genuinely cares about helping people feel comfortable and supported, even in a first phone call. It left a really positive impression on me and made me feel much more confident about reaching out to this office for services.

I have gone to therapy a few times a month for 7 months now and been feeling so much better mentally. Faith Driggs is incredible! She has helped me develop good exercises as well as have been doing EMDR which is life… changing. I went yesterday and walked in sad and walked out calm and content. I highly recommend her and this place!!

I have been a client with life stone for years and can honestly say I don’t know where I would be without the support I have received. My therapist is an absolute rock! And EMDR therapy has helped me more with trauma… than any other therapy I have used in the past. My mental has improved significantly since I have been a client. Shout out to the staff at the front desk. They always go above and beyond. Life stone is a life saver!

I’ve had such a great experience with Life Stone Counseling. They connected me with amazing therapists who really listen, encourage, and share helpful resources. Recently I’ve been going to the Midvale location, and the… front desk has gone above and beyond helping me with cash pay options. It’s very affordable, and they have multiple locations which makes scheduling easier. I definitely recommend Life Stone Counseling in Midvale if you’re looking for therapy and don’t know where to start.
