Next Level Recovery is amazing. I learned so much about myself and healthy coping skills while in outpatient treatment there.Their sober living is amazing too. I just hit 4 years sober and so much of my sobriety is… thanks to them. The owners and staff are absolutely incredible. Highly recommend!
Next level is a great treatment and Sober Living properties program, I have been with them since end of 2022 and still reside there in a Management position. The staff is great. Well respected and very helpful to the… clients. Helping others overcome there addiction and behaviors is amazing. Times get tough but the Management is always behind to make things better. I know without Next level I'm not sure exactly what my life would be. They have help me grow in so many ways..
This facility only cares about money. My initial intake appointment lasted over 2 hours although they told me it would be 30 minutes. I was also upsold on an inpatient living facility which was not needed. The counselor… assigned to me also was dishonest and claimed my PO had told her I had to go to Next Level as opposed to another facility. The people here do not care about your disease or your struggle, they only care about the bottom line.
It was the best decision I’ve ever made they provided the tools I needed to stay sober the sober living was great and I would recommend it
I chose this program on my own because I wanted to better my life. I was not court ordered and voluntarily enrolled because I genuinely wanted help and structure. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely… disappointing. The program seems poorly managed, and communication within the staff is inconsistent. I was discharged twice, supposedly for missed UAs and groups, even though I had clearly communicated with staff about scheduling and compliance. Another major concern was that I did not receive a therapy session for over 7 weeks, which is unacceptable in a treatment program. At the same time, my insurance was still being billed for services that were never provided. That raises serious ethical and legal concerns. When I tried to address these issues, the owner, Mike, was very dismissive and often shifted blame onto his employees rather than taking accountability for the program’s management. I truly went into this program wanting help and willing to do the work. Instead, I experienced disorganization, lack of communication, and services that were not delivered. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone seeking treatment carefully consider other programs before choosing this one. This business is bad business!!! AVOID at all costs!
They never answer their phone calls.👎
I was a client at next level and I've grown so much. I've gotten my own self back along with my family. I'm so glad I made the decision to go there. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be in your sober living.… I'll never forget the time I have had there.
Next Level Recovery provided me the opportunity to regain control of my life and reprioritize my self worth and value. I am very grateful to the entire staff and I appreciate their insights and shared knowledge.
Next Level Recovery stands out from traditional substance abuse programs by not only providing education and cessation strategies but also offering a unique experience. When you reach out in search of a sober living… environment, you are greeted by Mike Brown himself, a compassionate individual who has played a pivotal role in my journey to recovery. I have had the privilege of residing in his sober living houses on two separate occasions, as well as participating in his intensive outpatient program. Mike Brown has proven to be more than just a supporter. Moreover, when I discovered I was pregnant, I reached out to Mike, and he swiftly arranged for me to move into one of his finest sober living houses within a few hours. His dedication to my well-being is a testament to his genuinely admirable character. Furthermore, Mike's wife (whom I haven’t met) shares his passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere in the sober living houses. She invests her energy into decorating these spaces, aiming to transform them into genuine homes. Their commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals in recovery is commendable. My journey towards sobriety has spanned an extended period, during which I have undergone a profound transformation in both my lifestyle and mindset. While Next Level Recovery played an instrumental role in my progress, the true catalyst for change was the experience of residing in their sober living houses. These environments foster personal growth by allowing individuals to take ownership of their lives while also providing essential resources for those struggling. A well-designed sober living program should never be overly controlling, but rather empower individuals to learn how to care for themselves. However, it should also offer a safety net to prevent anyone from falling into the depths of despair. Next Level Recovery understands this delicate balance and ensures that residents are equipped with the necessary skills to thrive independently while offering support when needed.
The owner of Next Level (Mike) told me that "No one wants you here, you do not belong." This was after I had spent 1.5 weeks integrating myself into a great community. I took notes, I was committed, I continued to… participate. Both my therapists said I was so great and said they thought I would flourish in this program! My belief is that he was too lazy to fix their insurance mistake. My insurance reached out several times to fix their error, with no response. But I was told I was 'unfit', by Mike, who I had never met or interacted with. Mike called me to apologize and asked me to come back once he realized I had PR influence. He said 'he was just having a bad day'. I cannot imagine the words he spoke to me, going through to someone more fragile than I, and having someone so trusted be so demeaning. "You are not wanted", "You do not fit", "No one wants you here". These are not things I want my fellow recoveries to hear - Especially when not warranted in the slightest. I love the coaches. I loved the environment. But when the owner thinks he can get away with saying those things to me, I can't imagine what he's said to others. Disgusting.
Mike Brown is very professional and passionate about his work. He is always willing to go the extra mile to help his clients reach their goals and get on the right path. Next level recovery changed my life, I would… highly recommend it to anybody struggling with addiction that is looking for something different. Sober living properties is an amazing place to live! Their homes are nice, they can help you pay rent, and the structure makes you feel very safe and connected.
Sober two years! Wonderful staff and excellent support group. Saved my life!!
I did next level IOP. All I can say is don’t go there! There is maybe one good therapist there by the name of Billy. Mike brown is a crook, he will lie to your face, threaten you place of living over something small.… The amount of rent you have to pay if your not on voucher is 850-1000$ Varies per resident So many people come and go that work there It just goes to show how Mike Brown handles people and business. They kicked me out for missing a UA while I was on vacation. Avoid MIKE BROWN AT ALL COST
Next level recovery saved my life. If you need help with addiction please reach out to this place. 5 stars..
I love this place!! This is such a helpful treatment. I really really appreciate the chance to be here!!! Thank you next level!!!!!!
I’m literally not even sure where these “bad” reviews have come from on here. Next Level Recovery / Sober Living Properties has without a doubt changed my life and I’m absolutely alive because of their help. In July of… 2017, I was living in my car down at the “block” (which was at one point the largest open-air drug market in the US) in downtown Salt Lake City. Just smoking heroin and cocaine on a daily basis, pretty much just waiting to die. With the help of my family, I detoxed and they moved me directly into their Draper sober living home. It changed my life. I learned to take pride in things I do, to love myself and hold myself accountable. Ultimately, my path led me from being a resident at the Draper house, moving up to the house manager position at the Millcreek house, moving out of the sober living (while at the same time) gaining full-time employment with them as their “Recovery Residence Manager” (going to all of their properties and checking in with the clients daily) and ultimately I became the general manager for the entire Sober Living side. (Unfortunately) I resigned my employment with them, to go and chase my dreams. At the end of this month (April), I’ll be boarding a plane to Stockholm, Sweden. So if that doesn’t say something about their program, I literally don’t know what does? July 1st 2017, living in a car down at the block not showering, eating and waiting to die. April 1st 2019 Boarding a plane to move to Europe and chase my dreams. I’d say it worked for me and my advice to the couple of negative reviews on here is that a recovery program / sober living can’t just “fix you”, you’ve got to put in some hard work of your own. You get back what you put in and i always received a 100% return from Next Level Recovery / Sober Living Properties.
Would not recommend this place. The counselors do you not care about there clients, and do not take the time to meet them. The sober living houses that Next Level owns is pit of trash. People are constantly relapsing… and they continue to let them live there. The house manager do not care about the clients at the house. There sober living property's need some better management. If your wanting to get clean and sober live this is not the place to be. Stay far away from this place. Do your research and find a much better place. This place is a pit hole of trash full addicts who do not want to get sober!
Great addiction recovery environment
I love it here! Next Level Recovery is definatallythe place to go for my recovery in life long sobriety
I took a drug and alcohol interview here yesterday. It cost me $175. After I took it, the therapist told me I would likely have to take it somewhere else, and go somewhere else because I don't have insurance. They are… going to send my report to the court for me, but when I try to sign up for classes and therapy they told me I have to take, they tell me it's going to cost $2,500 per month. I'm not expecting the state to help me because they believe I make to much money to receive assistance. I don't really want to go anywhere else because I don't drive, and don't feel like I need much help in my recovery anyway. None of that really matters though because I feel like this place only cares about the money.
Next Level Recovery has changed my life in such a positive way. The staff and support are amazing, and are always willing to help however possible. Night or day, they're there! Their positive attitude about recovery and… treatment help you to the fullest. I'm so grateful for this program and the SOBER LIVING.
Next Level Recovery, I can honestly say was perfectly the place for me to smoothly make my transition from in- patient treatment into reality. I successfully went through their IOP program and it has helped me maintain… my sobriety. First and foremost they have an incredible, well informed clinical team that helped me identify the issues that lead me to addiction. They also have an exceptional clerical staff that display caring, and show compassion for your well being. Not to mention that owners are genuinely concerned about their patients as they strive to make a difference in helping the recovery community, but they don't stop there, they also have a effective sober living program that has been a blessing in my life. I highly recommend this caring facility. I will forever be grateful to the owners, the staff and the Next Level Recovery Center for walking with me and showing me how to live again. :)
The staff is very caring and took time to help me solve problems and get back on my feet. It is a very safe and healing environment! I definitely feel like my needs were met.
The receptionists are friendly and accommodating. The clinicians are empathetic and knowledgeable. The managers are kind and easygoing. I enjoy attending IOP here and I love the sober living house they put me in. I'm… happy to be sober!
I love Next Level! They genuinely care. I have gotten over 5 months with the aid of this program and going strong. The staff here is great. The receptionist is great. This is a strong program if you are looking for a… way out of dissatisfying drug riddled life. They are also partnered with a Sober Home that is very conducive to recovery and includes a great community to help get you on your feet.
