About Compass/Alternatives Inc – Billings
Compass/Alternatives Inc operates from 2120 3rd Avenue North in Billings. The site sits in Yellowstone County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Laurel and Lockwood. Montana draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.
Intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside telehealth appointments. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Treatment Services at Compass/Alternatives Inc
Intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Compass/Alternatives Inc Reviews and Ratings
Reviews are where patients and families describe Compass/Alternatives Inc in their own terms: the welcome at admission, the counseling, the planning for life after treatment.
Reading them is a sensible step before calling the Billings facility. Writing one, if you have been treated there, helps the families who come next.
Receptionists are super sassy and always unprofessional.
There was a girl here that used to do UAs her name was Angel and she was great she made the place bareable… she was the nicest sweetest girl and was really down to earth compared to every other worker there she actually… cared and would ask me about my life and how certain events played out in my life and offered help when she could or had the advice too do so she helped encourage me to go to school and it’s been the best decision for me, I am so glad I met her, I hope she thinks about me because I think about her often.
Receptionist are terrible.
Aryn was super nice and very helpful
👍🏽
Rudest receptionist I’ve ever experienced. Each time I come in she has some type of attitude. We all might of done something to be here but we are still human. No less than her. Can’t wait to be done with Alternatives
Located in colorado and had to do SUD assessment and PFL through zoom with them. A Brice Brogan missed my first assessment. No one ever showed to the zoom. I got an apology and rescheduled with someone else. Then came… the PFL class witch I made it to but was informed I needed a textbook that they had failed to send me so it would be next month. After finishing everything they said I needed to sign some paperwork that would be sent to me. 3 weeks later I had to ask if they were going to send said paperwork to sign. Case manager said sorry that was supposed to of been sent will get right on that... After 5 months of dealing with these people. I'm glad to say I'm done. I pity anyone who's court ordered to deal with this level of incompetence and waste of people's time
Money making scam.not a real service
This place is a money maker! Cash up front or you go back to jail! The people treat you terrible, when something comes up and you can't make an appointment they demand you can't switch it lol. For a busness that charges… people for a service, they have no respect, they think they are cops, and to work there a GED is all you have to have. The house arrest guy is nice that's about it there.
