About Concord Hospital Franklin – Franklin
Concord Hospital Franklin operates from 15 Aiken Avenue in Franklin. The site sits in Merrimack County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Bristol. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep.
Hospital inpatient care is delivered here, alongside care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Treatment Services at Concord Hospital Franklin
Hospital inpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen.

Concord Hospital Franklin Address, Location and Contact Information
The address is 15 Aiken Avenue, Franklin, NH 03235, in Merrimack County. The catchment reaches Bristol. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Opening hours shift with staffing, and an evening slot one month may not exist the next. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

Went to the radiology department for an ultrasound. Super nice people. My tech was entertaining and full of conversation during my two hour appt. She was great at listening and seemed to care about my comfort levels as… well as pains
Every time i try to call in a prescription nobody ever answers the phone. I call every extension it gives me, call at different times of day. Call the main location and they say “Sorry can’t do anything”. Absolutely… ridiculous that it takes me calling everyday for MORE THAN A WEEK, still to have no one answer the phone. this has been a constant for 2+ years. Would not recommend to anyone on a monthly prescription. Would not recommend if elderly. Would not recommend this place.
Fairly quick. Dr and nurses are friendly
I have been a patient at the Franklin Hospital for over 40 years. Never; have I ever regretted any decision to visit the Franklin Hospital. Excellent service, in my opinion, along with a kind and truly concerned… attitude.
Horrible. I called to check on a friend who was brought in for severe back pain. Patient is 65 yes old had stage four emphysema and lung cancer. Friend was left in emergency room for hours nothing to eat or drink and in… excruciating pain. Upon learning this I called er and rude nurse told me no one is in the emergency room for more than 4 hours. My friend was there from 4 am to 6 pm. Nurse never asked the name of patient, what the distress was, and said have the complain, not you and hung up on me. America? Really? Healthcare is the wealthiest business in the usa. People are sucked dry by the cost, and on top of that, uncaring and mean nursing care. What's happened? Oh, short of help? Nursing schools are turning away applicants because there overflowed . Get a different job if you have no compassion or decency.
There rude as hell at this hospital my experience with Concord hospital whether it's Laconia Concord or Franklin has been horrible staffing rude an there wait times are 100x worse then hospitals down south I'd rather… drive an hour 2 hours to a different hospital urgent Care then the ones connected to Concord hospital
Awesome care for me and my dad last night
The emergency room receptionist is rude. They have zero communication with patients waiting in the ER for 8 plus hours. I guess this is what happens when you’re the only hospital in a 20 mile radius. Either grow enough… to handle the patient load our change your leadership to better serve the community.
Have had 3 visits to Franklin for rehab as well as emergency room services. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Franklin is. We now feel like the staff are genuine friends. They are responsive and caring and have… truly supported the rehab needs. This is a really innovative approach that they are fostering with a comprehensive rehab program at the hospital and for us, it was a huge success. ER service is swift, attentive and skilled. We had too many bad er experiences at Laconia and recommend making the choice for Franklin.
Absolutely the worst. They're more than happy to make you wait to be seen, but if you're slightly late, you're SoL. Avoid them at all costs. Exactly every problem with American healthcare in one ugly building.
Not one soul in the ER waiting room and waited 2 hours still not seen. While waiting everyone that walked in the ladies sat up there talking crap about them. Hippa hippa broken
The food that they feed patients is horrible. My husband ordered a cheeseburger for supper tonite and it was all dried up. I had turkey and potato tasted old. Breakfast sandwich not good. The coffee is good. Why does… the food have to be so horrible for patients at this hospital. We was told the menu is the same as the laconia hospital. It may be the same menu but the food that they feed the patients is much better..I would think that someone is in charge of the food that leaves the kitchen should be checking it out.
I’ve been to concord hospital where I’ve waited hours to be seen then another hour in the room to even see a nurse or Dr… then your treated like a drive thru once your finally seen by the Dr the hospital is overloaded… with work and not enough staff so the actual care time is very rushed- Franklin hospital always has kind nurses, staff and drs , my children & I have always been taken care of in a state of an emergency
This is not a trustworthy establishment. Save yourself the heartache and find a real hospital.
All staff was friendly and attentive !! Definitely will make the drive here to avoid other hospitals.. they made the process smooth and condo 🤗🤗
I went to the ER here with a severe headache, blindness in one eye, and weakness on one side of my body. As soon as I told them my insurance is not compatible with there network the doctors here discharged me without… doing any test and told me too just drink more fluids. Turns out I had a blood clot that traveled to my brain and was causing me to have a stroke I went to Dartmouth instead and the doctors there immediately rushed me into surgery I still have some permeant repercussions from the delayed treatment my vision never fully came back and I am in a wheelchair now I am lucky I did not die if I had taken there advice I surely would have.
I ended up having a neck injury where I could not move my head without instant pain shooting throughout my head and upper back. My wife brought my into the ER around 430am on 9/22/2025, we got helped right away and only… sat in the waiting room for maybe 2 minutes. Once in the room the nurses started to get to their work. The doctor on duty saw me right after and called for medication for the pain and the scans to help figure out the issue. Within 1 hr and due diligence, we had our answer and a good treatment. The only thing I slightly had a problem with is that one of the nurses taking my temperature told me she was going to place the instrument under my tongue and accidentally(giving the benefit of doubt) went to far and got me in the back of the throat and it instinctively made me pull her hand holding the temperature instrument out of my mouth as it made my gag. If she just apologized it would have been nothing but she escalated it and got defensive like it didnt just make me gag. Again I didnt think it was done on purpose, they are ER workers working late shift and did a great job. Thank you for your hard work.
If I could give this hospital negative stars I would. I sat for two hours in the hallway. With a lack of privacy. And not a single check in with a nurse or the doctor. When I went to ask for something for pain I got no… response. I left.
Waited at Concord hospital for 3 hours then left because it would have been another 7 hours. Went to Franklin ER was checked in right away, called to a room within 3 minutes... was seen by a doctor right away. I mean 1… minute tops... had xrays and now waiting on results. Nurses, doctor, and xray tech were Awesome!!!! 20 minute drive was worth it.
I called in the morning to to be seen by a doctor but while I was transferred to a nurse she did the fake I can’t hear you you’re breaking up even though I have perfect WiFi and I assume she does too. I was feeling… really sick and I’m just going to urgent care. I do not recommend dealing with this hospital at least in the morning. I’m still in shock.
Trying to reach someone in. The west side office. Noone hardly answers the phone! Says busy, with other patients...I hold, still noone answers phone!. Called a medication into walmart last Friday..Westside said it would… be ready for pickup 3 days. I went to pick it up today...day 5 and was told by pharmacy that it was NEVER CALLED IN! once again, I start over with west side health care. NOONE ANSWERS THE PHONE AGAIN! I EVEN HIT THE BUTTON AS HEALTH CARE PROVIDER CALLING. NOTHING! Medicine is needed! Fir Barbara Ulban. Don 10 13,42. Pharmacy is walmart! Not good services at all!
This is a horrible place and they have absolutely no communication. I have no idea what’s going on with my husband so I’m going down there to haul them out of there tomorrow.
