About Eastern Montana CMHC – Sidney
Eastern Montana CMHC operates from 1201 West Holly Street in Sidney. The site sits in Richland County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep.
Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Treatment Services at Eastern Montana CMHC
Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers. Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Eastern Montana CMHC Address, Location and Contact Information
The address is 1201 West Holly Street, Sidney, MT 59270, in Richland County. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity. It is worth checking which entrance to use and where parking sits before a first appointment.
Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Interpreting services including ASL are available on request. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip.

Eastern Montana CMHC Reviews and Ratings
Choosing a treatment program is easier with accounts from patients who have already been through the door. Reviews of Eastern Montana CMHC in Sidney are gathered here for that reason.
Look for detail on how the first week went, how staff communicated and what support followed treatment.
Very unprofessional staff members, The clients and consumers were very rude. I felt uncomfortable in group therapy sessions,
I understand why people wouldn’t want to take the first step and go in for help. I go in to get some information for a loved one, and the lack of help in understanding the process, the condescending tone and lack of… empathy is just flat out disgusting. The woman that helped me and handed me the intake papers was very pleasant over the phone and in person but the lady that just sat behind her desk and was snappy in her replies needs a new job. If you’re miserable, maybe you should reconsider your position. Mental health is a MAJOR crisis in this community and in general. Last thing someone needs is to feel like they’re beneath the staff at the mental health center. Pretty unprofessional and disheartening.
Honestly, the nicest most helpful people you could ask for! If there was a 10 star review, I would leave that!
