About Seventh Direction – Wichita
Seventh Direction operates from 212 North Hillside Street in Wichita. The site sits in Sedgwick County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Augusta, Eastborough and El Dorado. Kansas draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.
Intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside telehealth appointments. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Treatment Services at Seventh Direction
Intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Seventh Direction Address, Location and Contact Information
The address is 212 North Hillside Street, Wichita, KS 67214, in Sedgwick County. The catchment reaches Augusta, Eastborough and El Dorado. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.
Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

Zero stars if I could. Staff is friendly. The director or whoever is in charge there is all about the money. I don’t think she cares if you get better. Be careful with the trick questions. That’s how they get you.
Horrible customer service! Wouldn't return here. Receptionist and "supervisor" are rude as hell.
They need to learn how to answer a phone
This place has helped me change my life, Good people, Good help!
Seventh direction is an amazing program. The have an unbelievable supportive staff and provide services that go above and beyond.
Save your time and money from the unsanitary living conditions to the people they treat like numbers. Don't expect your security deposit back either.

Love this place and all the people. Learn new things everyday and everyone genuinely cares I am glad I am a part this amazing place!!!
These people are caring but will absolutely turn cold-hearted and uncompasionate if you mess up, never pay ahead on your bill.....never!!!! They won't be kind and won't care.
This place is great, they really do care about people in recovery, they open up their doors to so many people although some people burn them they are still there with their doors open willing to help. This place has… really changed my life and has encouraged me to help addicts as they do.
Seventh Direction needs a lot of improvement. The staff there are nice and everything, I really like the people that work there, but I dont feel like there is a legitimate program that you work. There's a couple papers… to fill out a week and then the rest of the time is watching movies they rent from Redbox. Basically, its a place that teenagers who got caught smoking weed go so that they can get let off of their probation, then they go right back to smoking. I know a couple people who have gone there as well who graduated and went right back to their drugs of choice. While I was there, I heard counselors telling people to smoke all they want after they get off their probation and graduate. Obviously, this is what many of these people are planning to do, but it should not be encouraged. While I personally dont see a problem with marijuana, I never had anybody tell me that I should do all the heroin I want to when I graduate. They tell us that weed is just as bad as every other drug, yet they dont treat it like any other drug. At the very least, they should be consistent in what they teach their people.
awesom place and they really care about helping you!@!
