Addiction Services Council – Cincinnati Detox and Rehab Services
Addiction Services Council – Cincinnati is recorded as offering intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.
Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

A licensing record says what Addiction Services Council is permitted to do. Reviews from patients and their families say what treatment in Cincinnati was like, and those accounts are collected in this section.
My brother came here willing for alcohol treatment. They treated him like a prisoner. He should've been put on Ativan as soon as he went in, but since he wasn't, he went through hallucinations. They sent him to UC… hospital and after he got better, decided not to continue the program. The next day, he came to get his belongings and his medicine and they stole his body wash and claimed they threw out his medicine because he "walked out ". He absolutely DID NOT walk out, they sent him to the hospital. That still doesn't justify throwing his medicine away. Don't go here, don't send your love one there. This place is for homeless people and court-ordered people that they think they can treat less than human.
Incredible place to start a new life you just have to be willing to try a new way of life.
My experience at the cat house was very helpful.only if you want to really work the steps.jacob,ms.aj,and Jordan are great
I can’t say enough about CAT! The simple facts are that this place and all of the kind souls who make it operate have helped me through the darkest times of my life. With a host of resources I was not only able to work… on my recovery, court services worked by my side every step of the way to resolve my legal obligations as well. Recovery is a challenge no doubt, However! I wholeheartedly believe that if not for said people I would not be nowhere close to where I am today and for that I’m eternally grateful. Thank you all
I love the way I’m treated here always welcome and never judged
I’ve been clean for 3 months now thanks to c.a.t. I’ve always felt accepted and non-judged no matter how many times I cycled through there. Also, without Jordan helping me closely with all my legal issues I would prolly… be struggling still and stuck in jail. She made doors besides jail ones become available for me. She is the reason I’ve gotten another opportunity at life again. She is amazing and she literally saved me from 3 years in prison. If you have legal issues she will really go to bat for you. Thanks Jordan for all the support and hope you have given back.
The CAT House is truly a place of healing—a place where you can get your life back. The staff are some of the most caring individuals in the field, and their dedication to helping clients succeed is unmatched. You don’t… see that kind of compassion everywhere. This is the place where your new life begins.
I don’t even know how to explain what Center for Addiction Treatment has been in my life… but I’m going to try. I came in as a client from Clermont County Courts. I wasn’t easy. I wasn’t always ready. And I definitely… didn’t always listen. But this place stayed. I am beyond blessed to have experienced the care of Lisa Robinson and Amanda Merk (if you know, you know). The way they showed up for me, even when I was pushing back, mattered more than I probably showed at the time. I’m incredibly blessed that I got to argue with Randy. I’m not even going to sugarcoat it… Randy was mean as hell sometimes. But he was also real, consistent, and he never let me get away with anything. Looking back, I respect that more than anything. He was cool in the way that actually mattered. Kelly… I swear if she took one more thing from me, I was ready to walk out. But looking back, that structure probably kept me exactly where I needed to be. And Joe… oh my gosh, Joe. Just know you mattered in ways I can’t even fully put into words. Man… if I would’ve just listened to the first counselor I ever had, Mike Rosen, when he was still an intern… maybe things would’ve been different. I’m old school CAT ages. And still alive. I was also one of the ones Frank said wasn’t going to make it… (cooler than the flip side of the pillow). And yet… here I am. Not just standing, but standing in a position where I now get to give back in the same place that once held me together when I couldn’t hold myself together. My last time at CAT… I’m incredibly grateful for my angel, Josh Davis. He broke the road to bring me back before it was time, after I had left ASA just three weeks prior. That moment mattered more than I can explain. BTW- RIH Josh, I’ll never forget you. Above all, no one will ever compare to Mark. Mark Ralls never gave up on me. Not once. He advocated for me, sat with me, listened to me, and saw something in me when I couldn’t see it in myself. Now I get to sit next to him as a colleague… and he still, unfortunately, has to deal with my therapy sessions sometimes. Lol. That’s full circle. And here’s something I don’t take lightly… I now get to work alongside AJ, Lisa, Jacob, and Mark. Listen… this place creates miracles. This place helps starfish. This place heals the individuals the world sometimes forgets. And now I get to fight… just like every single person I mentioned. With passion. With integrity. With credentials. With evidence. At a level of systems that will eat our clients up if no one stands in the gap. This place didn’t just help me get through something. It helped shape who I became after. And for that, I will always be grateful. Oh yea, and “ I know what I know what I know what I know” And I’ll never flinch. CAT House taught me that!
I am forever indebted to this facility. I owe everything I have, most importantly over a year clean, to CAT. My biggest shout out is to Jordan with Court Services. As many addicts know, being wrapped up in the court… system is a HUGE barrier when you try to get clean. CAT and Jordan walked me through every step of the process, gave me tons of support and loved me through every piece of it. Forever grateful for this amazing facility.
My experience with C.A.T house has been amazing!! The interaction with the staff and the outreach team has been exceptional. They show up every time for folks in the community to deliver quality treatment, hope and… love. Stephanie Shadoan should get a 6 star rating for the work she does in the community!!
I went into Ccat house with the gift of depression and complete willingness to surrender to my addiction. They equipped me with the tools I needed to change my life around and be free of active addiction. The staff… truly cares for your well being and will smoother you with positivity. The food isnt bad at all! Most importantly the connections I have made at ccat is second to none and I will continuesly give back to Ccat with everything I have to offer. I am truly grateful for Ccat and the hope it brings to the community 🙌
I had a very positive experience with this facility. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and treated with respect. The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to helping individuals through… recovery. They take the time to listen without judgment and create a supportive environment that makes a difficult process feel more manageable. The programs offered are well-structured and focus not only on sobriety but also on personal growth and long-term success. I especially appreciated how they individualized care plans to meet each person’s unique needs. This facility has made a meaningful impact on my life, and I’m grateful for the support I received here. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking help with substance use and looking for a place that genuinely cares.
This place saved my life! If y ou re serious about changing your life it can change yours also.
The cat house saved my life and help me start living a new life without drugs but with a great loving staff that teaches me to love myself when I can't eye of the cat house everything that's why I became a peer mentor… to give back what they gave me
CAT House was good to me and the staff were amazing!
This place is nothing but a JOKE!!! DO NOT EVER GO OR SEND ANYONE YOU LOVE OR CARE ABOUT HERE!!!!!!! MY DAUGHTER ALMOST DIED FROM WITHDRAWAL BECAUSE THEY WOULDN'T GIVE HER THE MEDICATION THE DR PRESCRIBED FOR HER. I… WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE A -100 IF I COULD. ITS A CRUEL DIRTY JOKE . THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU AT ALL. FUNNY HOW THE STAFF GETS ON AND PUTS GOOD REVIEWS. THIS PLACE NEEDS SHUT DOWN.
My fiance was there for one day and had to be taken by squad and i and can't figure out whether she's alive or not because nobody will give me any information anywhere and I think it's just absolutely ridiculous that… someone I care about and love I can't figure out if they're even alive biggest joke ever and ghetto
My daughter voluntarily check yourself in yesterday within 8 hours they had to call the squad on her because they could not handle her withdrawal I've called 30 times today to get information and nobody will give me… information on whether my daughter is dead or alive so I would not recommend this place to nobody absolutely nobody
The Center for Addiction Treatment (CAT House) is doing incredible work in the community. Their team truly cares and goes above and beyond to help every client access compassionate, quality care. Special shoutout to… their amazing outreach team — Stephanie, Alicia, and Jordan (court liaison). They are dedicated, supportive, and always willing to advocate for those they serve. Highly recommend!
I been thinking about how great CAT house is lately. Great concealers, staff, food. Consistent too. Wasn't able to truly appreciate it until recently. Truly a safe place to recover, no cap
Does this place really work anyone ?
Hands down love the cat house especially their MAT program. There caring helpful and about their business. Been sober and going there sense feb 2025.
Amazing place, this place literally saved my life, the staff is one of a kind, they actually care and understand. I've been able to maintain my sobriety using the tools they gave me. You're not a client here, you're… family. Thank you.
Every time I leave there my prescriptions I got while at the CAT house are never sent in as promised I went to the pharmacy to pickup my Suboxone and they said the order was sent in but then canceled and didn't know why… so now I'm gonna sick from Suboxone over the weekend cause I can't call my case manager at the CAT house until Monday
Terrible place. They are not in the business of helping people.
