About Akeela Inc – Anchorage (360 West Benson Boulevard)

Akeela Inc operates from 360 West Benson Boulevard in Anchorage. The site sits in Anchorage County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Point MacKenzie. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep.

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at Akeela Inc

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Buprenorphine is available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Akeela Inc Address, Location and Contact Information

The address is 360 West Benson Boulevard, Anchorage, AK 99503, in Anchorage County. The catchment reaches Point MacKenzie. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

Staffs get their ways not including your decisions. Controls your own opinions, wanting to force you to parent the way THEY do it. Everyone’s parenting is different! Yes we’re learning but should NEVER force anyone to… parent the way you do it

If I could give it a zero I would. If you have any option I would highly recommend that you do that instead. This program is full of hypocrites that are book educated on addiction. So tentatively like OSHA " idk how you… feel or what you've been through but the book is saying your wrong". They tell you to be active in your recovery and treatment, yet the counsellors are available only 15-25% of the time.... They will bully you, they will be condescending, they will tell you what your feeling is not how your feeling. If you can, avoid this place like it has the plague.

I called them and left three messages. Finally when I got a hold of somebody they sent me to a voicemail box that was full. So I called them back and left another message I never heard from them. I think I'll probably… have to go elsewhere for some help.

Stepping Stones was the worst! Do not recommend at all. Very dishonest and vindictive staff. Left after 2 weeks couldn’t take it anymore. Went to SCF Four Directions outpatient instead, thrived in that program and… graduated.

I had to get an assessment done and they were able to schedule me in quickly. I also feel that the assessment was fare and accurate.
