Thank you to the Anchorage for being such an amazing blessing to my son. With great joy, I pick him up tomorrow. He is renewed and ready to tackle the world again sober and with Christ! Our whole family is rejoicing… because that day finally came and we got to see our family member Baptized! For the doubters out there, The Anchorage has rules. If you want change and are willing to go through the program with honesty and hard work, it will change your life forever! God bless this program and all who run it.

This place was very organized and it felt like we all came together and helped lift each other up.... God bless Dudley Thomas. And lay he rest in peace... He was a hard nosed man but he was also a man who cared for each… and every one of us fighting our battles with addiction... After his passing Ken Rice came In and that is when everything shifted..he doesn't understand addiction bc he was never an addict. He is the main reason the majority of us left or were kicked out. He needs to be evaluated for being a stalker to. Hope all my fellow homies are doing better. B Head

This place helped me a lot being the ex CL when Mr. Dudley controlled it! It was an amazing program! I learned a lot & got back on my feet! 5stars then, but I heard a lot of bad things about how it is now…. Rip Dudley

Tomorrow maks 2 weeks ago I attended my best friend of 25 years funeral . He died the 16th of last month while under the care of these people. I spoke with his mother today and she tells me that the coroner told her it… was an overdose that killed him . The death certificate says it was an issue with his heart. But there was no autopsy ?sounds like a cover up. How would they know that. They allow them telephones. Why on earth would you give an addict a phone? You can move mountains with a phone . One of the guys that was in the program i happen to know talk with me at the funeral and told me they were guys in there using. None of this will bring my friend back. I can only hope that some changes are made so that my friends death was not in vein . So that someone else's loved one does not come there and meet the same fate. They could learn alot from "Teen challenge" if you want to see real life transformation send you loved ones there .

Anchorage is not here to babysit anyone they offer the teaching of principals to change your life it's also free considering it cost $40 for books everything else is provided by donations anchorage has helped me change… my life "no scam at all" god has his hands on the anchorage and they have there hand out to help. "It only works if you want to change"

Don’t waste your time we sent our son there an after the 30 days we started visiting they say family only but anyone can come an go as they please they do not check anything you bring so After my son was kicked out… found out he got meth while in there ! We have decided there is no where to get mental an drug help . I had to give one star just to comment where I would give it a minus 2 stars

I only put one star on here because u have to in order to leave a review, so the experience I have come to witness is confusion, this place sounds awesome, when my brother was checking in we were told for the first few… weeks he couldn't have any contact with the outside world, which was sad but we understood, after being there less than 2 weeks we found out through some one else that he was kicked out because he failed a urine test, for a narcotic he received from some one while he was at GED classes which apparently they take you to and drop u off. Isnt this part of the outside world??? Is this place a ripoff? Surely they know for the first 30 days and many after that these people are weak, I thought that's why they couldn't have contact. And I found out they made him find his own way off their property, what? The bus to GED class full today? People be careful spending your money to get your loved one help and take high precautions with this place.!
