BrightView Health – Maumee

Brightveiw has been such a blessing for me. They do things a little different there….but, IT WORKS!!!! It is totally a no judgement zone where they don’t make a person feel bad for anything. The entire staff will… welcome you with open arms. I know I’m in the right place when the staff are genuinely happy to be at work. I love the whole team, but one smile in particular really made me feel unafraid and at peace on my first day there (and everyday since then) and that’s Jeremy!!! He is so kind and welcoming. He is the first person you see when you come in and the last one to wish you well on the way out. I am so thankful for this place!!

I’ve been attending Brightview for many years now, and I love the service and staff wouldn’t go to any other place. Recommend this place to anybody. They have really helped me change my life and have assisted me and… doing so I thank God that I found Brightview.

Brightview staff are great! Everyone is a team; from front desk, nurses, counsleors, and physicians. You will always be greeted with positivivity & a smile. They care about you, and your progress, their holistic… approach sets you up for succeeding your goals and a non judgemental free zone. I would recommend Brightview over any other place that offers the same care.

I’ve been going to brightview now since April of 2025. I have been on drugs & drinking since I was 11, & started doing IV OxyContin at 13. I never had more than 6-8 months sober at MAX, and they were NOT by my choice.… My longest stretches of sobriety either involved me being pregnant ( cause I refuse to put a child through that ) & in jail. But then at 29 something started changing. & I did still mess up a few times, but July 1st, 2021 I celebrated 5 years off of a needle & methamphetamines & on August 21st, 2022, I celebrated 4 years off of heroin. It should have been 5 altogether but u relapsed one time, did one line & caught my felonies that night. I had been sober for 14 months prior, had a miscarriage & lost my job & I was dating such a loser ! God ! Anyways, after getting out of prison (4/16/25) I immediately started at brightview. BUT I knew I wanted to be on sublocade, it was THEE only thing that had ever helped & WORKED in keeping my sober. Before prison - back to July 1st, 2021, I had been on it. I didn’t go to prison until 5/1/23 so I’d spent all that time on it before. I knew that’s what I wanted again, but brightview has such a silly policy about you having to be in their program, or a program for a YEAR prior to getting on the sublocade OR brixadi shot, and have proof of that. Like what ???? Sublocade and brixadi are the two best things out there for people REALLY trying to get sober. They change COUNTLESS lives. 1/4 people who stay on the shot & these are OLD statistics, & do therapy, STAY SOBER, that is insane numbers - esp because on the flip side of that, an IV drug user has a MAX life expectancy of up to 2 years. And sublocade doesnt just stop the cravings for ONLY opiates. I was a poly substance user I wanted to be the furthest from reality as humanly possible. I don’t miss/love/want any of it - at all, so I knew that’s what I wanted. And I really got some kickback for it at first. Until I talked to my therapist Chasitiy ( she is mine & she is the best so don’t over book her ! ) and my name is Chasity ! So it’s crazy cause I’ve never met anyone with my name before ! & she’s the very first therapist I’ve ever had that I felt so comfortable with on the very first meeting that I opened right up. & she will stay my therapist *hopefully* but she advocated for me heavily where I couldn’t advocate for myself. & next thing you know within 2 weeks I was back on sublocade & I’ve been on it every month since. All the staff is super amazing to me, every single time & they all try to personally know you & check in with you. There is not one single bad thing to say about brightview maumee, & if you want your providers to truly care about you, your journey with sobriety, either here, or zepf center. I’ve held a job for over a year ! IVE NEVER DONE THAT ! I’m 34 years old and finally have had a job for longer than a year. Got custody of my son back. Made it through my oldest son’s violent death COMPLETELY SOBER. #wedorecover I just wish they’d change that policy so that it would be easier for MORE people to get actual help.

If they pre-poured bottles for monthly dosers instead of making you wait for hours until bottles are prepared, I would give excellent marks. Difficult to keep a job when you have to wait for multiple hours to get take… home bottles. Am currently looking to change to another clinic that prepours

BrightView has become a safe place for me. I can't say that I have ever felt like every person that works their is honestly involved and invested in my well being. From the people at the front desk to case worker… (Laura) and counselors..the triage nurses..everyone is so kind and patient. It's different from the other places in Toledo as far as there's not people hanging out up to no good..I just feel safe there and that's not nothing.

I have never experienced so much understanding, compassion and overall respect from a clinic. The entire staff there goes above and beyond to make sure they set their patients up for success. I would recommend this… place to anyone looking for help in addiction.

Plan on being there for 3 hours everytime.. when you bring it up you'll get a attitude, like its "normal" to sit at the doctors for 3 + hrs....

Best treatment place I’ve ever been to!!

I been going to brightview for about two years no they saved my life and I'm grateful it I needed that help and they gave it to me THE STAFF THERE IS NONE JUDGMENTAL THEY ALWAY TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT THEY NEVER TALK… DOWN ON YOU IF IT WASN'T FOR THEM I BE IN THE SAME BOAT AS I WAS BEFORE THANK YOU BRIGHTVEIW FOR GIVING MY LIFE BACK

Brightview helped me when everyone else turned me away.Laura is a saint.she went above and beyond to help me.I wouldn't be here without her.she took her own free time to make sure I was taken care of. I know they don't… pay her enough for everything she does.laura is the main reason I keep coming back, she looked at me more as a person and not just a patient, those are the rarest kind of people you find in life and brightview better never lose her because she is the heart and soul of that place.the receptionist are always the nicest and very welcoming.the doctors are very kind, nurses are the best! They always welcome you and help answer any questions you have. The nurse practitioners and even the nurses who fill ur medications, just great people! These people here actually care! Love brightview in maumee ohio!!!

This place changed my life and completely turned my life around for the best! The nurses, doctor's,and staff are the best! They actually care about their patients and treat you like a human being and understand the… struggles and pain you are going through! I thank God every day for this place! I highly recommend brightview to anyone looking for help!

LET ME TELL U ABOUT THIS PLACE. THE STAFF AT BRIGHTVIEW MAUMEE IS LITERAL ANGELS ON EARTH. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM ARE SO NICE PROFESSIONAL AND TREAT EVERYONE WITH RESPECT. THEY ARE ALWAYS OPEN TO CHAT AND EVEN THO I… GO ONLY ONCE A MONTH TO GET MY MEDICATION ITS MY FAVORITE HEALTHCARE FACILITY. THEY ARE JUST SO WONDERFUL AND THEY MAKE IT ALL WORTH COMING. I've been going this place since May 5th 2025 they have turned my whole life around. There's a counselor there named Laura that has helped me tremendously she is went above and beyond her job to help me there needs to… be more people like her in this world but I'm still playing this over and plan on stayingthat way for the rest of my life.

Brightview has been AMAZING ! I've been in substance abuse for 20 yrs and I've never been to a treatment center where they help so much ! Laura Wolfe, INCREDIBLE ! Thank you so much for helping me tackle the things I've… needed to handle to get my license and driving privileges reinstated ! Without your help there's no way I could've gotten these things done ! Your assistance with navigating the requirements needed for me to complete by the bmv , has been instrumental in my accomplishments ! Without you help , I wouldn't have known where to begin ! Thank you for all that you do and also thank you for patience ! Great place to help you with recovery all around !

BrightView will go above and beyond to help you with treatment and continued recovery. They are attentive to you and your treatment plan. Out of all the places in my past that I tried, BrightView was by far the best in… all aspects. I highly recommend this place.

The staff was very, very kind and I thought very understanding. I'm not going to say I'm perfect or go into specifics but I'm a extremely friendly individual and I was insulted by the doctor and yelled at by the doctor… and treated as though I was under her. I thought the director would of got involved when I removed myself from the escalating situation before I lost my temper but no one, not ones employee attempted to talk to me or engage with me to understand what transpired. I wouldn't go here if it was my only choice.
