CASA Trinity – Elmira Detox and Rehab Services

CASA Trinity – Elmira carries a listing for intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

CASA Trinity – Elmira Address, Location and Contact Information

911 Stowell Street, Elmira, New York, 14901 is the address held. Elmira sits in Chemung County. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

They do offer mental health services separate from substance programs, worth knowing before you call. The staff were very kind and helpful.

I brought a friend in crisis to Casa Trinity for outpatient intake, and what I witnessed was alarming. While sitting in the lobby, I personally observed what appeared to be multiple drug exchanges—pills and small… baggies—happening openly inside the building. I also heard a patient casually talking about connections to drug dealing. Outside, individuals were visibly impaired and nodding off on the sidewalk. What made this even more concerning was the lack of response. Staff appeared disengaged, the intake process felt disorganized and informal like a DMV, and there was no visible effort to maintain a safe or controlled environment. For a facility that claims to support recovery, the atmosphere felt chaotic and permissive of active use. I ultimately removed my friend from the building because I did not feel it was a safe place for someone in a vulnerable state. Before leaving, I requested that a supervisor contact me and made it clear the situation was urgent. I have not received a call back. If you are trying to help someone at a critical moment, this is not an environment I would trust. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Everytime I go there for Court order anything, they literally cancel without notice until you get there. However, this isn't everyones experience. Depends on where you stand with the courts. Or what statistic they want… you in, Completely will do anything to compromise getting whatever you need for court.. I mentioned this to them after 4 cancelled appointments and how my boyfriend never has this problem well, ironically he went in the next day and the whole system was down and everyone had problems.. probably to make sure they weren't guilty of discriminating me.. it's a joke.

3 years ago I went here for treatment and was in a really bad place. I was not the easiest person to deal with but casa trinity made the experience worse. The staff would give us and help us get cigarettes in. Purposely… taking cigarettes out of our locked possessions and ignore them in searches. It was the same with cell phones. And I was kicked out because of the cigarettes the staff gave me. But I didn’t wanna be a “snitch” and kept quiet. They proceeded to pass me down to the ER stranded. I live in Syracuse. The patients had phones and would sniff their medication. The lack of tolerance towards addicts and the lack of management was very evident.

I think the people who work here really try to help you. Quick to get on Suboxone, or offers sublocade injection and methadone. The counselors are great. I feel comfortable going here.

Absolutely terrible service. The person who does their insurance and financial part you cannot EVER get a hold of her - not sure how she even has a job to be honest. I’ve called every day for two weeks and left voice… messages and still have yet to talk to someone without them just saying “please hold” and basically hanging up on me because they never return…. The drug counselors themselves are okay but even then they are just following someone else’s orders… Absolutely pathetic when it comes to organization and professionalism… The BBB needs to do some digging and shut them down or something. Sad.

I know someone who is going there for groups right now and is high from snorting Percocet yet till manages to pass your urine tests.. what a joke! There are people who actually want help but can't due to insurance but… if ya got Medicaid they will take ya let you continue using as long as they get paid! Do your job and get those that don't want help back where they belong... in jail!! And help those who really want it and need it!
