Cielo was suggested to me by my residential treatment center because of my interest in spiritual and wholistic based healing. Cielo’s counselors and facilitators work with us to heal the root cause of our addictions in… a way that honors and validates our experience without sugar coating the harsh realities we face. This balance works for those ready to accept and challenge old patterns and ideas. The thing I liked most about Cielo was the groups, and how they were facilitated. I healed so much and having spent four months there, hardly did I see repetition in the material that was presented. There is of course always room for improvement, and Cielo is prepared to listen and engage with one’s comments and concerns through client advocacy groups and in the moment. It is clear that at Cielo, everyone working there has their heart in the work.
Great place if your looking for recovery ❤️🩹 wether it be co ed groups or male/female groups with lots of tools to be added to your belt and friendly smiles and faces to be seen around i definitely would recommend… going here, Cielo treatment center helped guiding me in my recovery and can do so for you ❤️ Lots of love to the Cielo family and team.
I came to Cielo like a lot of people do, broken down discouraged, low self esteem and not too trusting. I’ve been through treatment many times and this place was something different. The clinical team and staff there… are amazing. It really feels like family and if you are ready for a change they are amazing at helping you along the way. Through the work and help there, I’m getting back to a place I haven’t been in a very long time and for that I’ll be forever grateful!
It was perfectly perfect. God brought me here I was sent to Cielo from residential treatment "We level up" in Spokane,WA thry took me on a plane and Gabriel picked me up. Great counselor Jeanie Taylor helped me realized… how much God has been in my life and protecting she also help me get over past childhood trauma. Cheyenne Salazar was very supportive and taught me the bodies levels with drugs and a blessing in the recovery field. Issac Salazar was very supportive and taught me even when you give up you still can come back and to keep your head up. Izzy Alvarado showed me how fun recovery can be playing kickball. Katie is very nice lady who plays favorites :)Whitney was a very down to business lady who also plays favorites:) Emilee was a pleasant reception lady that helped direct you to the right person but also takes away privileges if need be. And Tim works hard and makes sure everyone taking care of if that's getting to appointments or get blood work done or everyone's lunch on time. Also taking clients to serve the homeless or crossfit. HE also 2 hours to get me back because I thought i couldn't do the program, He does God's work. And Gigi was super cool taking me to get my homeless ID. The classes help understand that God speaks through people in your life, so if you listen you'll hear him. Then it will lead you to Celebrate recovery your forever family:) I recommend going to Cielo Treatment Center. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for them:) AND Solara Salazar is the happiest person I've ever met:) I asked her why and she said because I get to come help everyone here:) I love that.
This place changed my life. I walked into Cielo as an empty person always putting on a mask for people and pretended like everything was ok. I was in a very dark place struggling with my mental health. This place was… exactly what I needed. It was like therapy on steroids, but in the good kind of way. They helped me learn who I am, why I behave in certain areas, how and where some of these characteristics developed in my life. I started to accept myself and build myself into some that I can love. After attending groups for a couple of weeks I believed this is a program every person should go through. Not just addicts and people struggling with mental health. Every staff member at Cielo is an absolute genuine, caring, emotionally intelligent, and will always be there for you kinda person. This doesn't just apply to the counselors, it's seriously EVERYONE on staff! Total group effort. The icing on the cake was meeting a bunch of great people along the way. People who I will feel a connection to for the rest of my life. I cannot recommend Cielo enough to anyone who is searching for help in their life.
I honestly was about to give up hope as I been to so many treatments across the state. But thankfully Cielo accepted me at the very last resort that I had. The safety feeling that you get when you walk in that door, is… unmatched! The staff are very committed to their job and go above and beyond to help you not only get better but reach your goals and expand your mindset for growth. If you're having a bad day, they will take care of you. If you're having doubts, they reassure you. If you're feeling uncomfortable, they will go great lengths to make sure you're safe and is well taken care of. I made so many breakthroughs here than I ever did in any other treatment facility and therapy. I accomplished so much within myself and amended my relationship with my family thanks to Cielo. Everything that I thought was impossible, became possible.
Extremely dangerous and unprofessional medical practices here
I relapse and they have me back some stuff and took the rest.
Cielo was an incredible, life changing experience for me, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to make a change, while doing so in a warm, supportive, engaging environment. Their staff, their program, and… the overall community are truly one in a million.
Really good decision to come here! Smaller groups and definitely more involvement. Great group topics and the facilities are nice!!! I would highly recommend
I graduated Cielo in May and was really lucky to have Cathy as a counselor. I enjoyed the staff on the whole and the variety of groups. It seemed like Cielo was going through a lot of staff changes when I started in… January and I just have to be honest that sometimes things felt a bit disorganized. I happen to be a person who doesn't have trouble advocating for myself so I was always able to reach out to Katie, Martin or Whitney and get answers quickly (to their credit- they're all very responsive!) - but I can see how someone who is still working on this skill might feel a little lost at times. I do want to give a super special shout out to Clista - the art therapy group leader. I still have all my artwork on the fridge and I extremely valued the lectures she lead on trauma as well as the heroes journey and pain management etc. She's just a really special person! Overall, a good experience and I've made some good friends as a result of my time there. Cielo emphasizes creating positive relationships with your peers and it really helps to have community in recovery
Wonderful most splendid
Cielo is by far the best treatment center I have EVER been to. I've been a "lost cause" and have been to nearly half the treatment programs in the state and Cielo and the people that run and represent it are the only… ones who truly made me feel like not only they wanted me there, but they made me feel welcome. Their stories and willingness to share them is empowering! My fire went out, but a spark from their flew into my camp and that initial spark gave me enough hope to care for and tend to my fire until it become sustainable again! Thank you Cielo treatment and all included, you truly helped me change my life!
Besides being short staffed and having struggled to submit my FMLA forms in a timely manner; my biggest complaint is they offer a Red Road To Recovery group I was excited to be a part of yet the facilitator of that… group refused to allow me in the sweats and has repeatedly asked me if I am native. This constituted as lateral discrimination and because I advocated for myself I was asked to find another treatment center.
Thank you guys for giving the opportunity to sober my life up. Not only for myself but for my son. You guys are my family forever. G and I love you guys!!!
I love cielo cause they are much help in my recovery and are well support and rooters
I love cielo I am learning so much they have helped me grow into a better person the staff are great!! The peers are also everyone is kind n caring
Every body here is freaking awesome and I feel so lucky to continue my recovery here. This place has to be my favorite places. If you are serious about recovery and want to go somewhere where they actually care and the… treatment works, then I recommend CIELO for sure !!!
Yesterday afternoon I saw one of the owners planting in front of the building and at first it made me feel sad…because I Loved to garden. I haven’t gardened in 2 years because of my depression. But today I found myself… in the garden weeding and pruning and watering and it made me feel Alive. It didn’t register at first, but Seeing this woman who I admire and respect, really Motivated me to re-engage in something meaningful to me.
fantastic staff amazing lessons lots of good times, best place to be for recovery
This place is amazing! Incredible staff and clients, look forward to learning and becoming a better version of myself here every day
Great people, great place, I still come back and visit years after graduating and am always welcomed with open arms!
Cielo offers amazing, truly caring services. The staff go beyond in helping you and their offerings offer a wide range to suit anyone. I will recommend Cielo to anyone needing assistance!
Great counselors and staff. Very healthy and beneficial environment. The sober living houses are clean and safe. Great way to start fresh and rebuild.
I have been to many different treatment centers in the Portland area over the years, starting in 1999 and Cielo puts all of the others to shame. I had never heard of Cielo prior to coming, but from the onset, I was… floored at their willingness to go above and beyond to care for their clients. Cheyenne met me at detox an hour away and then came to pick me up the next day. From the moment I walked in the doors, the vibe, the smiles, the staff and clients have been incredible. Most treatment centers, you will undoubtedly encounter at least a few staff who are jaded and clearly not present or living in gratitude about their job. There are NO staff at Cielo who come close to exuding these harmful traits. The staff at Cielo are all vibrant and generous and dedicated to their work. The level that they go to heal every aspect of life is astounding and extremely well thought out. They work with each person on healing physically, socially, mentally, emotionally and spiritually - they leave no stone unturned. On any given day you might have art therapy, crossfit, music therapy, anger management, DBT, and the list goes ON AND ON. Each Thursday there is a client outing. Today we went to the Portland Art museum. Other excursions have inlcuded OMSI, the zoo, bowling and again, the list goes on. With any new ventures, you are bound to see some growing pains and I’m sure staff can agree, there are many things to learn, improve on and build, so it isn’t without its flaws. And I have not been without a few frustrations - which were handled with respect and validation. But it is apparent that they have a clear vision and will not ever make decisions without putting their clients absolutely first. Additionally, they are accredited from by The Joint Commission (which, if you don’t know - is a very big deal) and Cielo absolutely should be the GOLD STANDARD for the future of SUD treatment centers. I look forward to being there every single day and cannot give enough accolades because truly, there are many aspects of this place that go far beyond words.
My experience at Cielo Treatment Center was truly transformative. I’ve grown into a stronger, more self-aware version of myself, and the staff played a huge role in that journey. Their genuine care and support made all… the difference, and I felt valued every step of the way. This was my third treatment center, but I wish I had come here from the start. I’m leaving with a deeper understanding of myself and feeling more confident in my recovery than ever before.
I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Cielo . From the moment I walked through the doors, I was met with kindness, compassion, and genuine support from the entire staff. They go above and beyond to… make sure every individual feels heard, valued, and supported on their journey to recovery. The team is incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated, providing not only top-notch care but also encouragement every step of the way. Whether it’s the counselors, medical staff, or support team, everyone works together to create a safe and welcoming environment. Attending treatment here has truly been life-changing, and I am so grateful for the guidance and tools I’ve gained. If you’re looking for a place where you will be treated with respect and given the support you need, I highly recommend Cielo Treatment Center.
