DUI and DWI Programs in Oregon

Oregon calls the offense DUII, driving under the influence of intoxicants. A DUII case usually leads to a screening at the court, followed by an education program or a longer rehabilitation program that includes treatment. These listings show providers in Oregon that report DUII services, outpatient counseling and higher levels of care for people referred after an arrest.

Half of the listed DUII programs in Oregon are in towns rather than large cities, and 93 percent are within 25 miles of a river, most often the Clackamas or the Willamette. Listing details come from government treatment registers, state licensing records, accreditor listings and information the providers supply themselves.

Every listing has a source: an official register, a licensing record, or details the facility sent us.

Credentials shown honestly. Accreditation, licensing and registration listed separately.

Reviews shown exactly as written. Never edited, never removed because a facility asked.

No commission, no referral fees. Nothing a facility pays for changes where it appears.

Contact details always go direct. Calls reach the facility itself, never a call centre.

Common questions about DUI and DWI Programs

Answered from what is listed here.

Which Oregon cities have DUI programs?

Oregon's DUI and DWI program listings cluster first in Oregon City, then Fairview, Salem, Eugene and Maywood Park. People ordered to complete a program after an arrest often choose a provider close to home or work.

Residents of larger cities such as Beaverton, Portland and Eugene also have listings close by. Confirming that a provider is certified by the Oregon Health Authority matters before enrolling for court purposes.

Rehab Centers in Oregon Cityhttps://rehabseekers.com/locations/us/oregon/oregon-city/
Do DUI programs in Oregon take Oregon Health Plan?

Coverage through Oregon Health Plan is recorded by nearly all of the DUI and DWI programs in Oregon. Benefits run through the member's coordinated care organization, such as Health Share of Oregon, InterCommunity Health Network or Yamhill Community Care, so the enrolled plan is the first call.

Are there DUI programs near a river in Oregon?

A river lies within 25 miles of nearly all of the DUI and DWI programs in Oregon, with a median of about 6 miles to the nearest one. The Clackamas River, the Willamette River and the Coast Fork Willamette River are named, in that order.

Distances run from each provider's address. For outpatient impaired-driving education or treatment, travel time to regular sessions and court deadlines usually matters more than any nearby water.

What DUII program does Oregon require, and who oversees it?

Oregon requires either a certified DUII Education program or a DUII Rehabilitation program, and the Oregon Health Authority oversees the providers, listing them in its Substance Use Disorders Services Directory. The education track is 12 hours, while the rehabilitation track combines education, treatment and 90 days of abstinence.

Finishing either track earns a DUII Treatment Completion Certificate. A screening specialist at each court decides which track fits after looking at alcohol and other drug use, so the number of earlier offenses is not the only factor. The specialist can explain which track applies to you and the reasons for it.

DUII education is a class, while clinical treatment is ongoing care for a substance use disorder. The Oregon Health Authority’s Behavioral Health Division licenses residential programs under Oregon Administrative Rules 415-012 and certifies outpatient behavioral health programs under Oregon Administrative Rules 309-008.
