Serenity Lanes' Outpatient team is exceptional. From the friendly and welcoming staff, to the professional services provided in both group and individual sessions, this place is special. The fact that mental health… services are offered as an integrated service within the addiction groups is next level.

Leah was so incredible in dont even know what to say. My experience with serenity lane has been excellent over the years, with some counselors maybe being not a good mix, but if you find the right one, life changing.… Absolutely recommended!

This company did a assessment with me ( one i had to do 3+ times with different people thet never relay information mind you) over the phone and did not inform me, one time, that it was a out of pocket paid assessment… for $250 for a maybe hour phone call. I was not even described what treatment entailed, which did not work for me.

The counselor by the name of Blake was incredibly pushy and disrespectful. If you did not go to AA meetings, you were humiliated in class every single time. And told you you'll never complete your classes or be a… successful unless you go to one no matter how many times you were to remind him that it may work for him, but it may not work for other people so much so then I was forced to leave because I wanted to drink more than just doing day-to-day activities. It made it worse.

This place is filled with kind caring staff that really want nothing but the best possible outcome for those seeking to recover from their afflictions. I experienced first hand their gentle prodding and careful manners… that show the skill that shepherds of our spiritual lives are gifted with. I did have to do some footwork, but nothing good happens without some thought and patience. Be well!

The Barbur Office of Serenity Lane is centrally located and easy to get to from most areas of Portland. The staff care deeply for their patients.

For help I found the staff to be very professional. I was doing well while in the program, at the facility and continued into IOP. The moment I stopped going to IOP, I received my first bill which was for the previous… six months of service. I week later on a Wednesday I received a call from Sean in the collections department telling me I needed to pay by Friday (Two Days Later) I asked him to call me on Thursday to set up a payment plan, as I was in the car when he called. I did not hear from him, called him back the following Tuesday as was greeted with a very aggressive and strong armed response. I hope the call was recorded so the facility can hear how the business office treats patients in need.

I entered treatment at SL in June 2013. I completed In Patient in Eugene and IOP and Aftercare at the West Portland facility. Today, 6/18/2023 I celebrated 10 years of continuous sobriety. I never would have made it… here without the care & support of the wonderful people at SL. Steve, Rolita, John and all the other counselors I worked with were fantastic and I owe a huge thanks to them for my success and the wonderful, free, clean & sober life I am living today. There IS no better treatment center than Serenity Lane!! Thank you all again!!
