How Much Does Treatment at Eastern Bridge Program Cost?

Published prices for Eastern Bridge Program weren’t found, and nothing in the available material sets out a fee, a funding stream or a client contribution for the 16-week stay at The Basin. That makes the intake line the only reliable source of a figure for this programme.

For scale rather than as a quote, residential rehabilitation in Australia commonly falls around A$10,000 to A$30,000 a month, depending on the length of stay and whether the programme is privately or publicly funded; a 16-week programme sits at the longer end of that range. Contact the statewide intake line for pricing tailored to your needs. No private health insurance, Medicare, NDIS or WorkCover arrangement is listed for this service.

Eastern Bridge Program Reviews

Reviews of Eastern Bridge Program from around the web are limited at present, and much of what appears for Salvation Army services describes the wider organisation. RehabSeekers hosts reviews for this programme, so anyone who has completed a stay at The Basin is welcome to share their experience.

Sixteen weeks is a long commitment, and the details that help a reader decide are mostly practical: how the four-bedroom units worked socially, whether the gym and recreation spaces were genuinely used, and how case management handled the step back out at the end.

Aside from the Scenery this rehab is absolute trash. I admitted myself and a month in they had discovered ghb in one of my housemates rooms and we were subsequently kicked us out of the rehab, as they couldn’t be… certain if we were all using on the premises (given they can’t drug test with this particular substance). I wasn’t using. I was attending all of my classes and sticking with the program, I had much respect for anywhere that was willing to take me in a chance to help me start a better life, but in the end they did not help at all. Also, their staff are just ex users who have grown to the comfort and safety net of the environment, some being unqualified to be providing such therapy, amidst the classes being unhelpful and kind of pointless like coloring books and stuff ..Having been to one other rehab I found that group therapy and sharing had helped me a lot, even without having to share just being able to identify with others communally going thru the same experience, helped. Group therapy and sharing is not practiced here. Won’t delve into it too much more just that I was treated unfairly in the end. Though on a positive note I hadn’t let this experience get the better of me and my recovery and ive been clean & sober for 4-5 months now and I’m grateful, content and rejoicing at starting my new life ( : Thanks

I have been here twice. The first time was last year 2023 I got there early January. It was a great place and setting for rehab from alcohol. I could not unfortunately stay the 4 months. Due to car finance repayments… and insurance on. It was $350 a month and they take 78% of my dole payment. My mother, brother supported me. I could go without the alcohol, but the cigs / tobacco was hard. 2nd Time I went in this year, I went in before Christmas. I was an alcoholic. I was overweight, and they took my tobacco which I brought legally, cost me $150+ dollars and confiscated it thinking it was "chop chop". It was in genuine covers, I didn't have receipts. One employee asked during the checking "is that chop chop" I said no, I brought JPS gold 25g and Champion Ruby 50gram. They took it away and confiscated it into my locker. Yet January 2024. Vapes were classes as banned / illegal, but most of the staff brought them and used them. Out of the almost 40 people there, I was pretty much the NON ex prisoner, court ordered prisoner, person on a court drug /alcohol program. NegRaging. I had to leave there after 5 weeks. They just prison talked, calling people dogs and calling the AOD staff "screws" This place was awesome, but someone that puts themself in they get $10,000 for completing it, but for the prison comunnity its around $25-$45 thousand. Consindering this is a "Salvation Army" Not for profit for alcohol and drug addicts. You are looking at almost $5 thousand for a 4 people run down neglected house. If they are on the disabiliy pension... 80% of your centerlink payment goes there.

This is a residential rehabilitation program, run by the Salvation Army. I personally have been here 2 times, and both times have been exemplary. The staff are very warm and friendly and approachable, the management… Fostering a culture of healing and recovery, set in such a beautiful spot of the world on 100 acres of farmland, you cannot really fault the place. The program is extensive and diverse and I have learnt a lot from it, their model of care here is unlike any other rehabilitation program in Victoria. The waiting list is long, but worth the wait to get into. If you are thinking about getting off of any substance abuse this is your place to do it. I highly recommend it

This place has so much potential to be phenomenal but due to some external factors it's going through some adjustment pains. Everyone who works here is great and doing their best but I would wait a couple of months for… things to settle.

This place is all about the money. Our son was here, and could come and go as he pleased. No restrictions, might as well have been a hotel room. No help at all, complete waste of time. Glad I reported them to the health… authorities.

This place and everything and everyone in is totally AMAZING!! I had been to many detox centres over afew years and even went to Malvern Clinic (which was an overated terrible experience!). I was lucky enough to get a… place at the Bridge for a 16week program which I never thought I'd get through but by the end I didn't want to leave!! The Bridge offers top of the range 4 bedroom units, with all the luxuries and an extremely comfy bed for minimal cost. All utilities paid for, Dr's appt's and medicine' taken care of. 24/7 professional staff that really care, free haircuts and cheap dental. A great community, heaps of activities, a very generous shopping budget and all set on a very beautiful property owned by the Salvation Army. There is also heaps of downtime, access to your own mobile and a very good trust factor that enables you to leave the property. This amazing program saved and changed my life and I can't thank them enough for all that they do and encourage you to get into this program if you can even though there is sometimes a long waiting list...hang in there and you'll never regret it. BEST OF LUCK.
