Elmhurst Home – Detroit Detox and Rehab Services

Elmhurst Home – Detroit appears on the register for intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

Elmhurst Home – Detroit Address, Location and Contact Information

Records give the address as 12019 Linwood Street, Detroit, Michigan, 48206. This address falls in Wayne County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.

Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

Mr Sprowl is and extremely helpful therapist. Knowledge, kind and motivates me to be better. I recommend him to anyone who Has concerns about therapy. He makes it feel seamless. Also, Ms Harris, a case work at Elmhurst… is extremely helpful, polite and goes the extra mile.

I was connected to this "behavioral treatment" center via DWHIN for my son. The initial visit should have made me run, but I actually thought they were under DWHIN. The staff does not perform according to simple medical… office procedure. There is a signed consent on file to share with myself hisother whom he lives with and I have to beg for the prescriber to call back with questions regarding his meds. Ms Lewis and Ma. Johnson never call back or comply to the signed consent. Instead of confirming who I am through my son or a pin like NORMAL medical practitioner offices. They rather use febble jargan to detour myself from assisting his progression in care.

Not a good place 😕 They have smoke breaks that are random Mr Harper wanted me to lie to the 1800 number about my crime and lie saying I used within 2 weeks (when I've been clean for 2 years) They rushed me out the… building (they didn't give me my meds when I left) t hey treated me differently the minute they wouldn't accept me after 3 days being in the building over my crime You can't have your phone in treatment or quarantine Do not recommend and already notified my court about what was really going on in the building

The service is terrible. I was assigned to a therapist and the therapist never called back. It’s a worst place ever I will not recommend anybody to sign up.
