Gallus Detox Dallas – Mansfield Detox and Rehab Services

Gallus Detox Dallas – Mansfield appears on the register for detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Detox runs under medical supervision, and the first three days carry the highest risk with alcohol and benzodiazepines. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

Gallus Detox Dallas – Mansfield Address, Location and Contact Information

1776 North U.S. Highway 287, Mansfield, Texas, 76063 is the address held. The city lies within Tarrant County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

I haven’t even been discharged yet, but I can already say with complete confidence that this is, by far, the best medical detox facility I have ever encountered—and when I say “best,” I mean one of the best anywhere in… the country. I traveled here from California because this facility accepted my insurance, despite being located in the Dallas, Texas area. The organization also has facilities in Denver and Arizona. The Dallas location is a relatively small facility with only eight rooms, but that is part of what makes it so exceptional. The facility is exceptionally clean, quiet, and well maintained, with a simple layout consisting of one long hallway and the patient rooms. Most importantly, it is a true medical detox facility. This is not a traditional rehabilitation center where the primary qualification for some staff members is simply having personal experience with addiction. The level of medical care, professionalism, and genuine compassion here is exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with nothing but kindness and respect. Every nurse and technician I interacted with was professional, patient, compassionate, and willing to help. I honestly cannot recall a single interaction where anyone was rude, dismissive, or even remotely unpleasant. On my final day, I needed to obtain some medications before going to the airport. Under normal circumstances, I would have had to take an Uber to the pharmacy and then continue on to the airport. Instead, one of the technicians went out, picked up my medications for me, and brought them back to the facility so that I would not have to deal with that additional stress before traveling. That small gesture says a great deal about the kind of people who work here. I may not have everyone’s name spelled correctly, and I apologize if I have accidentally omitted anyone, but I want to recognize the people who made my stay such a positive experience. Day Shift Technicians: Kristi & Heather — two of the sweetest people you could possibly meet. They were consistently kind, helpful, and available whenever I needed anything. Everyone’s great, but I had to recognize these two! Day Shift Nurses: Mary Jesse Night Shift Technicians: Alma Lilly Brandy Night Shift Nurses: Vanessa T. — traveling nurse Jaretta Every one of these individuals treated me with dignity and compassion. They made what could have been an extremely difficult experience feel as comfortable and safe as possible. You genuinely feel at home with these people. I also want to recognize Dr. Litchfield, who, although he is not physically at the facility around the clock, has been absolutely outstanding. I can honestly say that he is one of the best doctors I have ever encountered. He sees you personally on a regular basis, including essentially every weekday, and he is exceptionally kind, thorough, and caring. As other reviews have mentioned, he conducts a complete examination and takes the time to actually evaluate how you are doing rather than simply checking a box and moving on. There are also several people outside of the facility who have assisted me throughout this process, including Christian, Laura, Eileen, and Lisa. Each of them has been incredibly helpful and compassionate during a time when I really needed it. The only negative reviews I have seen regarding this facility seem to involve billing. From my perspective, that may have more to do with the complexity of dealing with insurance than with the quality of care itself. I am hopeful that I will have very little out-of-pocket expense based on what I have been told, but regardless of how that ultimately turns out, it would not change my opinion of the care I received here. I understand that the facility specializes in medical detox for benzodiazepines and opioids, but I was also told that they treat a wide variety of substance-use issues. In my particular case, I came here primarily for medical detoxification.

❤️‍🩹 A Truly Life-Changing Experience—Worth Every Mile ❤️‍🩹 If you’ve been through the detox process before, you know how daunting it can be to walk into a new facility. I have been to several centers over the years… with some success, but absolutely none of them compare to Gallus Detox in Dallas, TX. I traveled all the way from Phoenix because of the incredible things I’d heard, and looking back, it was one of the best and most pivotal decisions I have ever made for myself. From the moment I arrived, I realized Gallus operates on a completely different level of care. A few things that make this place so deeply special: ** Attentive, Respectful Medical Care:** Dr. Litchfield sees each of his patients every single day. These aren't rushed, formal visits just to sign off on a chart; he genuinely sits down, takes the time to listen to your needs, and does everything in his power to ensure you are safe and completely comfortable. **A Dignified, Healing Environment:** The physical space plays a huge role in recovery, and Gallus has created a true sanctuary. The facility is immaculate, modern, and always fully stocked with snacks. Having your own private bedroom equipped with a comfortable bed, a television, and a desk gives you a quiet, peaceful space to rest and heal in privacy. * **Unmatched Staff Empathy:** Because of travel delays, I didn't check in for my intake until 2:00 AM. I was exhausted and incredibly vulnerable, but Jarretta, the night nurse, welcomed me with open arms. She treated me with complete dignity and humanity, talking to me like a real human being instead of looking down on me. **A Deep Personal Connection:** I also formed a truly special bond with Heather, one of the techs. Heather was an absolute saving grace during my stay. Every single shift she worked, she went completely out of her way to make sure I was accommodated, but it went so much deeper than just doing her job. We connected on a profound level; her warmth, constant encouragement, and beautiful spirit brought me so much comfort. She truly became a safe harbor for me on the days I needed it most, and I will never forget the impact she had on my journey. You can tell that everyone who works at Gallus operates from a place of genuine compassion for what their clients are going through. They don't just manage your symptoms—they care for your soul. Gallus Dallas gave me a safe, respectful place to take a massive step forward in my life. Thank you all so much, especially Jarretta and Heather!

Gallus is the best detox facility I have ever been to. The staff provides top-notch, around the clock service. They are extremely caring and get to know you as a person, not just a patient. I have come to Gallus a few… times, and the biggest reason I come back is because of the staff. I also like the fact that you get your own room. That way, you are truly able to focus on yourself and get the rest you need. I also appreciate the doctor who runs the facility. He provides a comprehensive recovery plan and is attentive to the needs of the patients. Thank you so much Gallus for all you’ve done for me!

Gallus Medical Detox is redefining what medical detox can look like. Their team combines cutting-edge detox protocols with a level of comfort and individualized care that is hard to find in this industry. From the… moment you walk through the door, it’s clear that every aspect of the experience has been thoughtfully designed with the client in mind. What stands out most is their commitment to innovation. Gallus utilizes advanced medical approaches that help make the detox process safer, more comfortable, and more effective than traditional models. At the same time, they never lose sight of the human side of recovery. Clients are treated with dignity, compassion, and genuine respect throughout their stay. The facility itself feels more like a high-end wellness retreat than a medical detox center, creating an environment where healing can begin without the stress and discomfort often associated with treatment. For individuals and families looking for a premium detox experience backed by exceptional clinical care, Gallus Medical Detox sets a very high standard.

This place was amazing. I didn't crave at all and the staff and the doctor were the best I could have had at my side. Every meal you get to choose what you could have from various different locations - although I will… say the choices on the menus are not necessarily they best options the places have choose from. They treat you like family. It never took more than 2 minutes after I called the button before someone else would come to my room. Most of the time it almost immediate. I can't say enough. One time my BP was low (for them, I really wasn't bothered about it), and 2 nurses and a nurse tech or 2 swarmed my room and had an IV going before I ever really knew why. The IV fluids did make me feel better. The rooms were like fancy hotel rooms, be sure and ask for a TV because when I asked about it she said "Oh, you want a TV, not a problem, I'll get your room adjusted". I also asked for a private one which seemed to adjust the room too, lol. Only down side is that there is only one female bathroom and one males bathroom. Doesn't sound like a big deal until you're in desperate need and the one you need is taken. I did use the other bathroom twice. I wouldn't have made it to wait so I just used the one that didn't match my gender.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This place changed my life. I came in feeling hopeless and left feeling like myself again (which is saying something). Every single person here is incredible—nurses who actually care, therapists who listen,… and a doctor who is not only ridiculously good-looking (purely an observation, no medical relevance 😏) but also smart and kind. It’s rare to find a place that blends serious medical care with actual warmth and humor, but Gallus nailed it. If you’re scared, or broken this is your place. I walked in crying and walked out cracking jokes. 10/10 would detox again (hopefully won’t need to, but you get it).

This place is the best detox facility that I have ever been to and I have been to quite a few. The place is extremely clean and comfortable. The nursing and tech staff were great! Christy was extremely helpful during my… week long stay, but I honestly can not express how professional and kind the staff is here. If you’re looking a great place to detox then Gallus Detox is an excellent place to do that. The IV therapy along with the medication definitely helps you detox and feeling much better quicker than the way normal places will detox you which is just by oral meds alone. The food here was awesome and the variety of snacks and drinks available were also a big help. If I ever had to detox again or knew of a friend or family member who needed this kind of help I wouldn’t hesitate to send them to this facility for help. This is truly one of those places where you receive top notch care with compassion and care!

I’m currently a patient here and I’m extremely angry with this place. I originally was turned away because they didn’t accept my insurance. I wrote an email to all the higher up’s asking them to please consider me on a… payment plan. They agreed in the email I attached a copy of the financial agreement that I had signed prior and on that financial agreement there are boxes to be checked. One of them is the NAD treatment. I was also quite impressed with the fact that they did 24 seven cardiac monitoring, IV medication through your IV instead of orally. On their website, they claim that they’re protocol is the gal method which I have yet to see. I have been given nothing but oral medication’s and that is all. I could’ve gone anywhere else and gotten the same exact treatment and my insurance will have covered it I would not have had to pay out-of-pocket tens of thousands of dollars to be here. I’m serioummmg furious, and about ready to just leave. Everything that they advertise is not true. This is a regular Detox nothing about it is different than anywhere else so make sure you go to a place where your insurance excepts otherwise will we pay a lot of money for the exact same thing?

The staff that interacts daily with the patients are great, but their billing practices are shady, imo. Before being admitted they made me pay what I had left to meet my maximum out-of-pocket, to ensure they were paid… upfront. I was told this was non-negotiable and had to be completed in order to be admitted. The full amount was paid. The issue arose when the insurance payed them and it turned out my portion that I was responsible for was thousands of dollars less than what I paid upfront. They didn’t want to refund me and tried to pocket the thousands extra I paid. I was referred to their CFO, Russ Matthews, who is less than responsive. After a few emails back and forth, I’m still waiting for him to reply five months later. He last stated he would reply next Tuesday…that was back in June. I had to file a complaint with the state. TX Health and Human Services then conducted an investigation. The investigation ended with Gallus stating it was a “clerical error”, despite me previously providing them with receipts and insurance EOB showing the discrepancy. After the investigation by the state they sent me a check for the thousands of dollars they owed me. I’m apparently not the only one to have issues with their billing and not being refunded. It’s a shame to see the caring staff overshadowed by the company’s piss poor billing practices.

Amazing experiences here. They’re just outstanding, compassionate people here. 💘 the nurses, the doctor, my only complaint is the admissions - Missy is great, and doing her job - but they’re pretty strict about pricing… which can definitely stop someone from getting top notch opiate detox treatment which is SO crucial for recovery. That’s my only complaint. Everything besides that is truly amazing and highly recommend if you’re able to afford it!!

This facility is worth the flight, I flew from the other side of the country to receive a medical detox. Let me start by saying there is no other place like Gallus Medical Detox- Dallas, no other typical D&A treatment… facility would ever compare. This is a closely monitored, very low census (less than 8 patients at any time) five star medical detox, with modern upgraded everything, meals are all from local restaurants and you choose from the menu. You can have your phone, laptop, iPad. Anyone who has had a poor experience at a typical D&A detox you know that speaks volumes because they have absolutely nothing to hide. Now to the doctor, nurses, social worker and techs, I could never accurately convey the compassion, empathy and concern that I was shown in my most difficult times. The doctor is cutting edge, innovative, and the most humane doctor I’ve met in 36 years of life. A special shout out to Hailey, Heather, Kristi, Kathy, Sara, Nessa, Bree, Brittany, Laurel, Cecelia and Jesse would have never made it with out these women. If you have the opportunity to get yourself or loved one here for detox, please do it, I promise it’s the best shot anyone can have. Eternally Grateful

Gallus Detox is an extraordinary facility to start your recovery from addiction. The doctors and nurses are second to none. They truly take the time to support you through your recovery. They’re concerned about your… health and wellbeing. The facility is awesome and very well kept. They have all the amenities you could ask for. I would recommend Gallus to anyone that needs help battling an addiction. They also assist you in obtaining aftercare before you leave. Thank God they were there to help me on my journey to sobriety. Bless them.

I am very disappointed in this facility. The truth is the day to day staff were amazing and kind and the nurses did everything to make me comfortable. I had a great experience there minus the financial aspect. I had to… pay in full ahead of time for my detox and then iop (outpatient treatment) after my detox. Then they canceled the iop program and have been refusing to refund my $2600s. It’s been months of me calling, emailing, texting and getting avoiding by Russ Matthew’s who runs the place. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re fine paying $12k in advance (even with insurance) for detox for 5 days and then getting taken advantage of. They offer services they don’t have and trick you into paying ahead.

From the start with Sandra who didn't give up on me and kept pushing for me to get on that airplane to Texas to the entire staff who were supportive and caring through my good days and bad days was 100% over and beyond… what most places do. Id recommend Gallus to anyone who needs to get off any substance. After 27 years of using 10+ years of methadone ending at 185 mg, this place will not disappoint with their care! Thank you to all the staff I'm forever grateful for your help regaining my life back! I'm coming up on 9 months and truly thank you all for helping me get to this point!
