Innovations Changes – Arlington Detox and Rehab Services
Recorded services at Innovations Changes – Arlington are partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

Innovations Changes – Arlington Reviews and Ratings
Many treatment programs look similar on a list of services. Reviews of Innovations Changes show how those services were experienced by patients in Arlington.
Accounts from family members are worth reading too, since they often describe communication and visiting in more detail.
My daughter went there for 4 weeks. They picked her up ans dropped her off every day. The staff is very nice however they might be a little too nice. Her behavior hasn't changed she didn't take it very seriously other… than she was out of school for 4 weeks. She's still using drugs and the therapist wouldn't believe me when I said to keep retesting her everyday for drugs. If you're thinking about sending your child here I would think of some more serious place for help.
My observations are that Mesa Springs hires with low standards, struggles with being short-staffed, has frequent turnover and is poorly managed. We enrolled our son and I observed toilets that did not flush (health… department please take notice), dirt on the floor and misspelled signs written in faded marker and posted on doors. The staff dressed unprofessionally and did not use verbs or correct English. These are licensed professionals. They should be able to communicate with a professional vocabulary. We were promised certain services such as family therapy sessions that were never received. There were cancellations due to staff not showing up. We were given one day's notice that his insurance felt treatment was complete. We disagreed and requested he remain five additional days which we would pay for at the cash rate. There was a clear and marked bifurcation of services that were covered by insurance and the remaining five days that were payable in cash. There was no confusion over when insurance stopped paying. I repeatedly and strenuously emphasized to Mesa Springs that we would be paying at the cash rate for those final five days. They agreed. They provided documentation in writing that the additional five days would be paid at a cash pay rate. They provided a receipt that payment had been received in full and that there was a zero balance. Wouldn't you know it three months later I'm still receiving bills. When I call their billing department they say there is no remedy other than to pay. Even though I have a statement from Mesa Springs showing "paid in full", their billing department says they will not accept that, that I still have to pay or they will turn it over to a billing department which will, in turn, compromise my credit rating. This is predatory billing to the extreme. The last time I phoned Mesa Springs I spoke with Chaun Scott who told me it would be immediately taken care of, assuring me we do not owe anything. He said he would email me written confirmation as soon as he completed the update. I have not received that from Chaun and am still receiving bills. In fact, the amount has been growing and is showing as past due. As of today I am filing a complaint with the Texas Health Facility Compliance Unit with the Office of the Attorney General and the Texas Department of Insurance. During treatment, I sensed the staff were sincere. For that reason I was not planning on filing a review out of compassion for their efforts. However, their unethical billing practices have been the last straw. I recommend the health department investigate for sanitary conditions and I will most certainly be filing complaints for predatory billing. If you as a potential consumer are conscientious enough to consult Google reviews, take this as a warning to never work with this company. I would give them zero stars if I could.
I was told by the main hospital that my daughter was admitted to this facility, but when you call the facility and go through the run around phone system, it is impossible to speak to anyone to be able to reach her. She… does not have my phone number memorized so cannot call me. I am starting to panic.
Unprofessional, confrontational and not capable of handling kids. Find a better place for your kids sake. Also, 1500 bucks for 2 days worth of service before the kick your kid out due to them not being able to handle… them, feels like a scam.
Don’t send your kids here. NOT good for Autistic children AT ALL. Btw they tell the parents to press charges when they call you if there’s an incident.
I really find this place to be very helpful and it was a great experience for my son. I hope to never have to have our family deal with this again, but if we go, I know where we are going.
I would be dead if i didn't come here last year, this place really did save my life
This rating is for billing. I finished my IOP in mid-January 2024. They still haven't billed my insurance mid-Feb 2024.. Do let them bill you after they've submitted to insurance. I learned the hard way. I paid $771.50… which covers my deductible. I've met it again since MESA hasn't tbotheredto submit my claim. Nor will they return my $ or a phone call. Go elsewhere. Get a one on one therapist.
if I can give them a zero star, I would first off if a parent coming to you asking for help and just because of a child with a disability doesn’t not have the capability of answering the questions that you were asking… and understanding the questions that you’re asking him or her does not mean they are unfit for your program I feel like just a waste of time. If you’re going to interview the child, why have the parent come and fill out so much paperwork and answer all the not even gonna help the parent caring parent that takes time off of work to come to to do the application to sit and do admissions and and all that good stuff that we supposed to do as a parent a caring parent is just a waste of time don’t even go here and waste your time parents if you need help this not this place sincerely, a caring parent
Hello my name Gustavo Jr i miss this place I was at E2 I left at 04\05\2023 I miss everything o jump from yellow to green at A1-i its different transition to privillaged it was cool if you ask what was my first day it… was a Monday in march so I loved my stay my first green rank toy it was a pop-it and my last item was a purple and blue wallet so from.Gustavo Jr to MS Rachel & Mr richard
Mesa Springs Innovations in Arlington has made a tremendous positive impact with our child. From therapist, to office staff, & van drivers they seemed to work to get the very best outcome. Thank you for being there when… we needed you!
I wish I could give no stars. This place is a joke 1st they want to act as if they're all supportive in giving the proper help for your child with mental illness and then boom they call cps on you. Not only that they… don't know how to prescribe medication...they put your child on medication and change it before it even takes effect or they up the dose. This really hurts knowing how cruel ppl can be...instead of attacking the parents trying to seek the right help for their children why don't yall go after the ones who don't care at all about their child's safety and well being?
I was a patient here and honestly the service was incredible. miss Tatiana was the best and Mr. Richard always left a positive mood around. Miss J actually helped me with some math that I didn’t even know before I went… there. I know All the reviews Are saying do not go but definitely go but it can be expensive if you don’t have good insurance
I wish I could give no stars. The intake coordinator said that if the services did not work they would not bill us. Now we are stuck with a $2,000 bill for 2 days of service. They then denied services to him and did not… put him into the program. If you want real and supportive help for your child DO NOT GO HERE!!!
As a patient who's been in the program, the overall program is bad, the place is a joke. The other patients are sweet, but the workers (therapists) suck (speaking from A2). The teacher is amazing, but the school program… is kind of bad, they give out one page that has week 1... etc. and they have to go through a textbook and find the pages. Also, i've been kicked out of the program due to it "not benefiting" me. This place is terrible.
Where do I even begin to attempt to praise Mesa Springs Innovations and their wonderful team who went above and beyond in providing my child with the best care and respect. She came in very shy and was afraid to open up… and with their help she has made so much progress. Not every case is the same but I truly appreciate the facility for offering transportation for my child from picking her up at my job and dropping her off at the end of the day. I could not ask for more. Thank you Ms Valencia for as well for ensuing her safety while on the transportation van. My child was outpatient there for almost 4 weeks and they provided her with great care. They made Halloween special by giving them treats and candy bags, they celebrated progress by allowing them to enjoy a meal from a restaurant on Fridays. The entire staff kept open communication with me while my child was there. I never felt in the dark about any of her treatment, and there was always accountability. I highly recommend this facility for outpatient care. I went in not knowing if this was the best choice but it turned out to be one the best blind decisions I’ve had to make as a parent for my child. Thank you all and we will miss you!
First of all I have never posted a review before in my life. I am just not that kind of person, but this is so near and dear to my heart that I felt compelled to in the hopes that it would reach the heart of another… hurting and desperate parent who just wants the best for their child, but doesn't know what to do. I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Mike and his incredible team at the Arlington Innovations. My 15 year old son was in a really difficult place in his life as many of teens are today. They came alongside him and encouraged him and challenged many of incorrect thoughts and images he had of himself. It was HARD and it takes A LOT of WORK on the part of the teen and the team and the family. As he put it " if you do the hard work and listen to what they are saying and believe its true you can change for the better". He has absolutely changed for the better. The work is not over as we all know because negative thoughts just don't go away overnight wether you're 15 or 50. There is hope out there if you find yourself just simply overwhelmed and ill-prepared to walk your child through these difficult times. IT IS OK to feel this way. Don't beat yourself up just simply ask for HELP for you and for them. Thank you again!!!
I absolutely do not recommend Innovations. Although my daughter did learn a few coping skills she sid not learn much. The facility changed therapist multiple times. There is absolutely no one on one therapist it is all… in a group setting, so if your child has some fever sensitive things to discuss just know that it will never be talked about. Which was just ONE of the problems we ran into! My daughter has many things to deal with but the BIGGEST would be the sensitive subject that could never be discussed. The last therapist Porcha (or however you spell her name) continuously told my daughter if your dad hasnt changed by now what makes you think he ever will which is very true. After my exhusband finally decided to get involved and manipulated the situation as he always does and the exact reason my daughter told the therapist and the program director herself that she didnt want her dad involved they still saw fit to push my exhusband onto my daughter, from that point on everything became about my exhusband and his needs and not my daughters. After I spoke with Porcha and discussed the sensitive matter that my daughter doesnt want to address but needs to work through she made my daughter feel as if I were attacking her any my daughter lashed out saying things that werent true in which porcha called CPS. Which was irrelevant as I had already had CPS in my home as I called myself regarding my exhusband. Innovations will report untruths to CPS without following up but did not report the countless times my exhusband allowed my daughter to be hurt due to the lack of supervision in his home without going into great detail these are things that will follow my daughter for the reat of her life. As a therapist you should not pick and choose a parent you should listen to the needs of the child! Meanwhile my daughter is now back inpatient following innovations and again has asked that her father not be involved. He keeps pushing and refused to listen to my daughter. Ultimately he is slowly killing my child. However I can not stop it right now. If innovations had done their job and listened to my daughter she probably wouldnt be back inpatient so soon, and maybe my daughter wouldnt have to deal with her dad who is destroying her and no one will help make it stop. I would also like to add. While your child is at innovations receiving ONLY group therapy your child is not allowed to see a therapist outside of innovations for individual therapy which doesn't allow them to talk about the deepest things that are bothering them the most. I absolutely would not recommend innovations if you want to see your child live and suceed in life. If i could give negative stars I would!
Excellent place. They care about their patients. Expensive without insurance but they work with you. My kid liked the program and we saw a big improvement in her depression.
Warning! The first thing I told them at the intake interview is that my child would not be able to complete the program for various reasons. They told me they understood my situation and that would not be a problem.… Then when I took my child out they reported me to CPS. After the police did a welfare check at my home, my child was interviewed at school & I at their office, the case was dropped. I was cleared with no action taken. All this while my father was in hospice. If you want this drama in your life, go ahead and send your child to Mesa Springs.

Mesa Springs has saved my life twice. I have bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety and PTSD. The staff are amazing and the doctors are thorough. I'm not the only one who has said that it's like the Ritz Hilton compared to most of the other places.
