I did a program here, was very anxious about going. But the counselors were very helpful, making it easy to learn and understand. In particular my counselor. She has been a huge help to me.

Went there for a 12week court program that actually lasted 31weeks. Most of the appointments I sat in a room to watch the same repeated videos while my counselor was in her office eating, texting on her phone. Then was… kicked out by counselor after she showed up to my appointment 30mins late as she had just came from a bad hair salon appointment.

I’ve never been too a treatment where I felt so judged. There are “counselors” there that seem to not relate to my situation at all. Even upon asking if they ever been in my shoes one of them said they never had a… reason to attend treatment which really detoured me and made me feel as if I couldn’t get help here.

Worst people to try and go get help from. They don't really have people there that can help. They have counselors who has never experienced withdrawals or even had drug or alcohol issues and expect them to understand me… as an addict. They're not professional when it comes to handling business and it truly seems they are in it for a check only

I'm so glad I came to Alternatives and thankful for the very kind and knowledgeable staff here. Before coming to Alternatives I really felt like giving up on completing SATOP. It felt out of reach. Now, I feel like… continuing to come after I complete my SATOP. That's a drastic difference in state of mind. Everyone has been super understanding & supportive of a challenging time in my life & the lives of my fellow group members. Very professional, yet in a way that makes you feel at home and comfortable. The people here really do care, and they show it. Thank you! ~ Nick

Really impressed by the professionllism provided reguarding my situatuion. The departmrnt of transportation reguired me to complete a evaluation and treatment. In order for me to return to duty following my failed drug… screen. In all honesty the feeling of embarrasment consumed me. However when my treatment was complete. Meaniful knowledge was gained and my self respect restored. Realizing that people are human and mistakes are made. Respect should be given to the ones who get us back on track. Thanks to everyone that helped me and God bless you

I highly recommend this place! Don is such a good listener, and does everything in his power to make your life easier! The whole staff is very polite which makes it super easy to open up and explain your situation… honestly. They are there to help you, not work against you. Just good people all the way around.

Highly recommend for knowledgeable and professional staff. Was treated wonderfully from the sweet secretary when you walk in to Don listening and actually doing what’s right for you as an individual. Ben was recommended… as a counselor and was perfect. Made a bad situation easy to navigate.

I recently took part in the 10 hour coarse after waiting 2 years to complete because i was worried about being judged and didn't know what i would be walking into. Saying that, this place was amazing! The staff is… extremely knowledgeable and are truly there because they care and sincerely want to help. my counselor was Tammy and she was fantastic, the coarse was more than comfortable and it wasn't just paperwork, you get to share your story among friends, people in your same position. They can learn from your mistake and you can learn from theirs as well. overall the coarse was great, Tammy made it fun and intuitive to participate in conversation and made it great with stories of things she has seen in the past. This place is there to make you feel better about yourself, not make you feel bad. The staff is awesome and are there to help, don't hesitate to go like I did. Thank you Alternatives!

It was some thing I did not want at first being ordered to go. But after a couple of classes I realized how much I needed help not wanting it but really needed it to get back my life in order to feel good about myself &… with family & friends as well. That wanted & respected the David they had always had known before & not the drugs & people that had changed his life. That is when i realized My Family & Friends NEEDS David Back. With Out Have Been Ordered To Go... And With Out My Alternatives & My Counselor & Listening. I Would Not Have Found Happiness Again. But Only A Life Of Hardships & Betrayals From People Who Was Not My Friend But Only A Friend To A Drug But Also Not A Friend To Them Self.!!! Thanks Alternatives, With Out You... I Could Not Have Found Me. David R.

Had to have an evaluation for a court matter. Never having had to do anything like this before was honestly very concerned, especially after how truly scary I found the court system to be! The people at Alternatives… counseling were amazing!!! They were all so very kind and truly care. I thought even if I didn’t need more classes that I would have to have some just because in my experience that when the law and court is involved it’s mostly about money, this was not the case, the people there wanted only to know the truth and be of help! Wonderful place!!!!!!!
