Integrative Counseling Services – Seattle

ICS was the best choice for me and changed my life for the better. I didn’t want a recovery program based on faith or a higher power - I wanted one like ICS - grounded in a holistic view of health, psychology and… compassion. With regular group and individual sessions - I was able to feel supported and now proudly have 13 years of sobriety. I wouldn’t be where I am at without ICS - and I genuinely hope others follow me in choosing it.

ICS is the most wonderful, supportive, unique, caring and committed group of people I have encountered in my recovery process. I have been on this journey for 9+ years, and ICS has been apart of it the entire time. The… space created by Dennis in my group sessions, is beyond the words I am going to use..he is informative, brilliant with his delivery, kind and sensitive to each individual, honors everyones place in life, offers such incredible support to the group as a whole. Scott has been my individual therapist for almost two years, and I have expanded into a new person because of him. The care, attention to my well-being, the emotionally safe space he has created, has allowed to me understand who I truly am. I can not thank the team of ICS for their care and commitment to helping the folks that come to them. For showing up the way that they do every session and for fully offering every bit of knowledge they can to the ones that want to do the work with them. I would not be in the place that I am, living my best life, with more compassion and understanding of who I am and how I want to show up in the world, if it were not for ICS being apart of my life.

I worked with Emily years ago. The effects were such that after a couple years of recovery I realized just how healing and profound her help was. I lucked out finding this place and highly recommend!

Do not waste your time here. They will not respond after making you do a questionnaire and 2 hour assessment. Terrible service for dealing with such a sensitive issue.

I went to get councilling but couldn’t make the appointment. I got charged $100 bucks and it got sent to collections and is ruining my credit. I regret ever contacting this place.

This review is a bit late.I attended counseling here in 2018.I found the team to be extremely friendly,the environment very cozy and inviting and i felt like they actually cared about me and others in the groups.To the… point where coming was one of the best parts of my week.If you are looking for a counseling group please give them a try!

Very unique services for addiction/co-occuring mental health probs. I swore off rehabilitation services a few years back, but a case manager took me here with high confidence I would take to the program. She was right,… and it has definitely been a huge part of my support in obtaining and maintaining sobriety. I have also referred a few friends of mine who have similarly shied away from services and rehab centers for being mistreated for substance use issues. :)

Integrative Counseling Services is top-notch, accessible, and effective treatment for Substance Use Disorder and Co-Occurring Mental Health issues. Emily Beeson, in particular, shows up as a fellow human with tools to… help anyone struggling or working to maintain stability in the world when dealing with current or past addiction issues. ICS is a big part of my story of recovery. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Amazing staff and such a great approach to substance abuse issues. I would highly recommend this counseling service to anyone that is thinking that they need some extra support during a difficult time of self discovery… and change.
