I don't get it with such reviews why is this place still in business. This was given to me as a behavioral resource but after seeing the reviews I am staying far away.

If I could give zero Stars I would, if I could get the horrible place called Angel house closed for Good, I would! After a very disconcerting couple of weeks with my daughter in June to July of 2025, with the help of… CPS and La Frontera here in Glendale arizona, I placed my daughter in the supposed care of Angel house in Tucson. I am very disappointed and depressed that I did so, their staff has very little training and seems to not give a crap about anything that the children want or feel! My daughter S called me from the very first week all the way through the entire almost 120 days she spent in their so-called care, begging to get out and telling me how awful and degrading it was to be there. It was more like a prison, and negatively impacted both of our Mental Health! The house leader, Ms Carleigh was basically useless, condescending, cold, Untrained and very harsh with me and my daughter. There was absolutely no improvement in her (S's) attitude until she was there almost 90 days, and the only good that her being there did is it got her off of cannabis! And good luck trying to ever call them because they never answered their damn phone. And they lie & manipulate... I can't say little enough for how much I hated every Single day that my daughter was at this supposed Residential Treatment Facility, I wish I had never let her go there. They disregarded her privacy, read her diary and because of that got me involved again with CPS. And basically kept her there until the insurance money ran out! At least now that she's out of there, she's trying to get her very first job at 17 and 1/2, and we finally finished the pre-paid driving instructions that were scheduled before she went in! I am proud to say in spite of this place my daughter has adjusted well, and is now a licensed driver and a very good one. Angel house taught no good life skills other than how to clean up after yourself, and she still isn't very good at it at home. I am just glad that she is no longer under the thumb of the disgusting Angel house! Also my daughter left some personal items there by accident, and it took 3 months - yes 3 months for them to mail them back! Even after I offered more than once to pay for them to ship them back! Unconscionable - jerks! Good riddance.

I tried to get some former records of mine and only got the run around from the quality management person or no responses from quality management after a number of attempts. I could not get past the individual in this… department to get what I needed.

My children are still in need of extensive therapy from the abuse they suffered in 2017 at the hands of Intermountain Centers for Human Destruction. I would give this place zero stars if it were possible. Intermountain… destroyed my family. UPDATE/RESPONSE to OWNER: I tried to report this in 2017 and again in 2018. Your team bullied me and stonewalled until the 90 days was up so that I could not take legal action and then refused to speak to me at all. The abuse and coercive control we suffered at the hands of your staff was unconscionable. You didn't care then, why would you care now? We didn't have just a "negative" experience. We experienced being victims of coercive control and physical abuse. Your staff abused my family. Your staff blamed my children's diagnosed mental health conditions on me. They refused to give us services. Every 6 weeks my home was filled with people with clipboards who all pointed their fingers at someone else when it was discovered that NOTHING had been coordinated or set up. When I finally said I wanted a different case manager, your staff threw my children under the bus to save their own jobs, lied to DSC and said I was suicidal because I asked for a crisis plan. They then went back into our records and added a bunch of lies to cover their deception. I'd love to hear what your "resolution" is for that.

Very frustrating dealing with Intermountain these last several years. As soon as we can find a new provider we will be switching. They can not keep staff, they do not train or have qualified individuals in charge of my… child’s behavioral health, and they do not take advantage of resources available to assist, they do not answer the phone or return calls. So Disappointed.

Worst company ever I would never recommend anyone to go to Intermountain. They do not help and support the foster families whatsoever. They file false complaints to DCS against foster families for no reason. Please be… aware of this agency.

50 years of service to the Tucson community and a mission that hasn't changed. In 50 years, they have only had 2 CEO's. The founder, Dr. Giles retired a few years ago, and Rose Lopez took over. She is very business… savvy, but the accountability of the executive leadership is laughable at best and criminal at worst. Their residential facilities are frighteningly outdated and understaffed, which leads to dangerous situations for clients and staff. When staff call for assistance, the supervisors may or may not answer the phone. The turnover rate of around 50% starts with the hiring process since the HR department does no screening of candidates, has no real oversight of the interview process, and gets bullied by the managers so they get their "belly buttons" on the units as quickly as possible. For an agency whose mission includes being a leader in the field, they are at least 5 years behind the AHCCCS expectation of integrated care. But hey, they were one of the first agencies in Arizona to "mandate" covid vaccinations (unless you had a religious, or medical exemption).

Neglected to refill prescription for days because they would not answer or call back. I was unable to get my prescription that was needed every day for about a week and have felt very sick from the results of it.… Definitely would not recommend having medications with them!

Intermountain community partners is absolutely horrible! I'd give .25 stars if possible. DO NOT GO THERE if you want help with Behavioral health services. I have been waiting since December 2020 to be seen. Received a… call from the assigned case mgr telling me I needed to do a 3 hr long intake session over the phone. No one ever called me to do the intake. I had to call them to make a complaint as the case mgr never called back, even after leaving messages for a couple months. Finally they pass the phone off to a staff member to conduct the intake. This is at the end of March 2021. I have a phone appointment with the psychiatrist for a psych evaluation on May 12, 2021. 2 months after the intake! April 28, 2021, a new case mgr calls to introduce themselves. Said they would call every Wed. At 4pm. Well guess what? Not only did they not call, but the psychiatrist didn't call for the assigned appointment on May 12, 2021 either! After not hearing from the case mgr for 3 wks., I call to speak to a mgr. I am transferred to a team lead/spvr. I've spoken to the spvr several times before without a resolution. Therefore, I wanted to escalate my complaint to a mgr. I was told I needed to follow the chain of command. What exactly do they think I was doing all these months? Bottom line, I was not allowed to speak with someone in position higher than a team leader. Today, May 24, 2021, I get a call from the case mgr. They complain to me that they had 18 emails to call me and they were out sick. They were not sick for 4 wks. Finally the person apologizes for not contacting me. Told them psychiatrist didn't call me either. Case mgr now informs me my new appointment with the psychiatrist is July 14, 2021 at 2pm. Couple hours later, Intermountain community partners call me to inform me the psychiatrist will only do psychiatric evaluations in the morning. Therefore, my appointment has been pushed back to Aug. 4th at 1100am. THIS IS CRAZY! IT'S ENOUGH TO MAKE A SANE PERSON SNAP!! No one in this organization is reliable or professional. This is not how you treat people. Especially people with Behavioral health issue. I was referred by my insurance company. I am calling them after this post to file a complaint/grievance, and to recommend they no longer refer or use Intermountain community partners. 9 mos later and I still can't get help from Intermountain community partners.

Loved my stay at summit, helped me tremendously. Would just like to say thank you to all the staff members I worked with for helping me on my journey of self recovery and sobriety. Summit was a once in a lifetime… experience for me and frankly I wish it happened sooner but i am honored to say summit is great at revitalizing not only their personality but also their outlook on life and being sober as a whole. So thank you again for all the knowledge and progress I’ve made whilst being with you guys and I hope it helps many more generations ahead of me. -Rohan

We've only heard from our licensing worker once in the 5 months before she left. We were then told we would be contacted by a new worker several weeks ago. To date that hasn't happened. We are first time foster parents.… Our placement has since gone home and we had absolutely zero support. They aren't even aware that shes gone. I would not recommend this agency unless you are well versed in the foster world.

Felt more like a home than I ever had and was basically like a break from all the negativity on the outs it showed me how to live normal, changed my life just by showing me a normal kids… life pretty much. I'm only 20 now but I already realize how much that place helped. And staff are the best very easy to connect with . Honestly miss this place haha

Intermountain never helped us and actually had the children placed in foster care, telling me "you asked for respite care, here it is." We spent a total of 1.5 years enrolled at intermountain during which time they… couldn't get services and therapy in place. My only option was to call their crisis line when I needed help. I called one day needing a respite care worker to come attend to my one son while I attended the others IEP meeting. I was met at the school by Intermountain, who allowed me to attend my son's meeting. While I was in the meeting, they called the police, DCS and a mental health crisis team, who detained me for 7 hours. Intermountain told them I had said I was going to kill myself after I told my case manager she was fired. They didn't record the call, wouldn't allow me any recourse and lied to DCS. Their employees stole from our home. Luckily DCS quickly saw that I was not the problem and returned the children to my custody but it took 44 days. Stay the hell away from Intermountain!! They refuse to answer any questions and never even apologized, nor would they do an investigation when I asked. My children were abused in foster care. The therapy they now require is extensive. We moved out of the country to get it.
