i started going here after my time at ARC getting sober off multiple substances. i had a consoler that would talk to me every time one-on-one about my mental health, my coping mechanisms and triggers, etc but when it… came to the pyschiatrist that prescribed the meds she would talk to me over the webcam! why would i have to go into this establishment every 3 months if my pyschiatrist sees me via the computer every time. they prescribed me medication that worked for me but in the end, after a year+, they wanted to randomly drug test me to 'ensure my medication or future medication doesnt interfere with' whatever you know it rubbed me the wrong way, and with all my other issues with them. i simply left and didnt go back.
So sad...was really looking for help...some type of counseling.... depression hitting hard this days....they where only interested in charging my insurance all they could....no help at all
The staff is very friendly, but the doctors will only give meds that alter you personality.
After a mental breakdown ( so sick of COVID) I made an appointment for counseling. Once I submitted my paperwork, they stopped communicating. Not answering phone calls, nor emails, and no zoom information sent. It's… minutes before my appointment and cant get a hold of anyone. Good thing mental health isn't important or their clients would be in trouble.
I missed a phone call by 1 minute and they rescheduled me for 2 1/2 months later
Terrible! My sister is much in need of help. Waited for appt , about 6 wks. They called and canceled her appt 1 day notice. I can’t believe they don’t have a back up dr. That could have taken the drs place. It’s Friday.… And a wk end holiday. And they leave her with no place to go. This is not a place that cares about ppl. This could end badly for my Sis and my family. Awful you just leave ppl like this.
This place is an all-inclusive mental health and substance abuse facility. They do assessments and have a plethora services available to treat and maintainany mental health or substance abuse needs including counseling… therapy and medical treatment. They accept ACHHS and many other health plans for services rendered. there are several locations spread throughout the Tucson area that are available for your convenience. They have board-certified physicians, counselors and the therapist on staff. if you are having any troubles problems or needs that require medical attention immediate intervention or just guidance in life in general, this facility is one stop shopping with a facility that's clean, private and friendly. they have been a institution in Tucson for many years and have a proven track record for effective management of the our community's needs for mental health services. Highly recommended. I encourage you to take initiative to get help if you need it. Reach out to somebody and if you don't know who this is the place to start.
Wonderful facility and staff.
I went here twice and I hope not to have to go again. Not because of a bad experience. I’m going to get surgery. The ladies there are wonderful and understanding. There was a inconvenience but it was figured out in a… quick moment. I wasn’t called that my appointment was rescheduled with my psychiatrist. And I drove an hour for that day. Like I said it was fixed I waited till 2pm. Lucky for me I could go to sleep since I just had gotten out of work at 6am and my original appointment was at 9am. I appreciate your help and time ladies from today ☺️ 11/15/19 green valley az
