Mens Recovery Program – Albany Detox and Rehab Services

Mens Recovery Program – Albany appears on the register for residential treatment. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

Mens Recovery Program – Albany Address, Location and Contact Information

The facility address is 573 Livingston Avenue, Albany, New York, 12206. This address falls in Albany County. Provision extends to the wider area, so check the journey before you set off. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

I am an addict I am making this review from personal experience the staff is only there for a paycheck anyone with mental health needs do not go there how does a rehab run out of food ? How does a rehab stop someone… from going to a doctor's appointment? And then threaten you with a medical discharge and failure of the program because they "don't want to deal with it " that is direct from the house director Wanda I was told they didn't give people rides to there appointments but they have 2 vans and one employee said she was tired of driving so she didn't want to the meal schedule is 2 "cold meals" a day and 1 hot meal that is only dinner and that is ok but when cereal is for breakfast and the house has been out of milk for 5 days and the instant oatmeal is piled up in the counselors favorite what does everyone else eat

Our recommend this place to anybody who’s in recovery is a good place and I learned a lot from here as long as you’re dear for your recovery. It will work for you if you’re not there for your recovery it will not work… for you but this is a good place to go

This place is extremely short staffed and the ones that are staffing are terrible (give or take a few gems that actually care). My little sister is there right now and we are going to get her tonight bc of the staff… mistreating and bullying her and other patients. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! My sister is trying her hardest to stick with the program for her recovery but staff is just beating her down mentally and know they are putting her in a dark place. Keeping her phone from her for the few hours a day she's allowed to have it and NOT LETTING HER CALL FAMILY! Not to mention there are SOOOOO many OSHA violations within this place and NYS needs to audit them and shut them down. I am sick to my stomach that they allow themselves to treat people who need help with such carelessness and disrespect!

Place is like living in actual hell! I'd rather striffle my vomit than reccomend this place. They think they wrote the bible on recovery and will save everyone that come within this house!

Do not go here! Disrespectful and unprofessional staff that try to make everything about race. When you try to stick up for yourself the staff will say you are the problem and are either too old to remember or just flat… out lie about things they sat to you. It's just a place the courts send people because being mandated is the only way you can tolerate the disrespect from staff on a daily basis.

Horrible place to send your child . Was three rapes. in a week and no one person told us about it . They act like it never happened. They lie to you to get you to send your child there. They tell you what you want to… hear then after you sign papers everything changes . We were told anyone can visit as long as they support the patient . Then we sign and no one can visit except mom and dad . We filled out a form for who can call and talk and after it was signed found out no one can call . Horrible place. Only in it for the money . It's covered by ins so its money in their pocket . We were also told that our son would only be in for 31 days . Again after we signed all the paper work we were told over the phone that it could be up to 9 months . Our son is in 11th grade and dies great in school . He goes here and they are pushing for a GED. They told us they will work with his school to get his work and help him complete it. As soon as we left it's all about getting a GED. I would give this place no stars if it was a option
