PROMESA Inc – Albany Detox and Rehab Services

PROMESA Inc – Albany appears on the register for intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

PROMESA Inc – Albany Address, Location and Contact Information

Records give the address as 175 Central Avenue, Albany, New York, 12206. This address falls in Albany County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.

A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

Camino Nuevo, has been my cornerstone for my continued and successful recovery. I did not believe I would have had such great results or have had met and worked with the professional staff and friendly and helpful… resources, that have made available, for the clients. God Bless the services and outreach programs at Camino Nuevo. I highly recommend Camino Nuevo for I am very confident others will have similar success, just as long as one gives their trust and commitment, Camino will be sure to assist with all else that's required to continue their support and care in keeping one safe during the difficult times that possibly lie ahead and involve a strong team and staff to complete their goals in remaining clean and healthy. God Bless Camino Nuevo. ✝️🙏☺️

There should be an option to give them -50 points. Since, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy!! Clearly, as time goes on, you can see all the nice reviews were from years ago. No nice reviews in the last… 3/4 years

Worst place you could possibly go for addiction help. Not only is there constant drug dealers trying to sell you drugs when you immediately step out of the building, but also they lie to you about what the medicine can… do for you. It does NOT help with chronic pain, despite me being lied to for 3 years told to just keep increasing my dose until they finally said I couldn't go any higher. Then they make every excuse both legal and illegal so you can't see a doctor to go back down on your dose. I've been at the top of list waiting 6 MONTHS to see a doctor and they still will not allow me to see them. If you make an appointment with medical, they don't honor it, they make you sit there for hours so that all the new people can get in ahead of the appointments. The only counselor that actually cares is Katie other than her the entire staff doesn't give two

This place is a joke! I've been to other Promessa Clinicas in NYC that were a lot different. This location at 175 Central Ave in small any is like a homeless camp with a Methadone program behind it. The staff doesn't… care or most likely are overwhelmed with patients and underpaid. Had a family emergency & couldn't get a staff member (not even a janitor) on the phone! Use as last resort.

This facility is a very sad excuse for a treatment program I would never recommend or send my loved ones here. First off you can’t get a hold of anyone so if you have legit concerns or questions good luck to you. It’s… almost like they hold you prisoner they do not want to allow their patients to grow and better their lives as they claim so if you need to work or require them to do anything extra for you it’s not going to happen. The councilor that i had the pleasure of listening to spoke to my family member like they were garbage! It was a disgrace these people are in treatment they don’t need to be spoken to like they are beneath the rest of society! They don’t even do lab work on their patients when they arrive so god forbid you are sick it’s a sad excuse for a treatment facility!

They wanted me to come in every day for 1 Suboxone and pay the copay every day. They're only there to make money

Methadone maintenance is the gold standard for opiate addiction for a reason. This stuff works, in addition I’ll add my counselor Katie is a straight up G. She truly cares about her clients. The rest of the admin staff… is lovely as well. Our dosing nurses are fast and friendly. The only negative is the head nurse zaria or whatever, she leaves ALOT to be desired to say the least. How she is a medical professional at all is honestly a mystery.

(Edit: This place has continued to be a blessing in my life. I am still clean, 5 years now, and am in the process of coming off the medication. I highly recommend this clinic and I want to say thank you to everyone who… works there.) This place saved my life. I had been an addict for years, was in and out of detoxes and rehabs, but this place (and a whole lot of determination) finally got me free from the hell of addiction, and have now been clean for over 2 years. The staff is great, the groups and the counselors that run them have helped me out so much, and I have nothing but good things to say about this place.

I started going to Camino Nuevo in early June of 2015 and it's been such an amazing experience. If you want to change your life for the better and you are ready to take that step, this is an amazing program to get into.… It's not just a methadone clinic. They currently have out patient and intensive outpatient services and will hopefully soon be doing higher levels of care such as inpatient. This isn't a cop and leave program. You have to go to group meetings and work on a treatment plan with your counselor. If you do what needs to be done, you are rewarded there. If you're ready to get clean and you need help, call them. This place really is awesome. Call them, you will go in the next day or next few to make sure insurance is all set up and within 2 weeks you will have your intake. Plan on being there for 5 hours. You will be medicated that day and from there you can start to get your life back.
