Merakey Behavioral Health – Stroudsburg

This place is horrible, I went here for therapy for over a year. The therapist barely knew how to do her job she didn’t know how to properly treat me. Only for her to to ‘resign’, no one told me, I didn’t even get a… curtesy call or text from anyone working in the office letting me know my therapist left. I was left clueless for 6 months until my medication started to run out and I called the office to tell them. Only for them to tell me not only my therapist no longer worked there, but also that my med’s were canceled because I haven’t seen Dr.Turnburg, which is not my fault since my therapist helped me make my appointments, and no one called me to schedule one. I have had issues with this place for so long, and on-top of it all the women who work in reception are snotty and rude and do not care about the patience. They do not even have therapist working in the building anymore, they have one and she’s the assistant that signs paper work, not a licensed therapist. Do not go to this place, I don’t understand how they are even still in business

Was a patient for many years, very unprofessional their whole Facility I’m on a medication to where if I don’t have it when I need it, I could be hospitalized always an issue with medication no professionalism. I seen… firsthand as I was sitting in the waiting room How the staff took advantage of other patients mental health and used it against them I pray to God that something gets done and wish nobody experiences what I went through in that facility for years!!!!!!! 🙏🙏

Act team is not up to par...they do not dispense medication in responsible manner. They were Suppose to show up for visit but do not. They show up where they want abd have no appts Anna the nurse and Sara the team… leader act like they own my son's meds even after showing guardianship ppwk. Seems careless. Dr. T is nice to work with and Yost. My son feels ignored by them

Brought my daughter here and was disgusted at the lack of professional help and care,stay away from this storefront facility.

Stay away from this place. They don't care about you or your problems. They want easy state insurance money.... they will keep you as a patient for as long as they can to set up pointless appointments that make you feel… like you are just spewing all of your life problems to them for an hour, while they sit there making easy money... nod and ask you why you think your feeling this way or that way. The basic family history questions... tell you things that you already know... write a script. I had to reschedule a few times because I am a single mother of 3 and life is busy and unpredictable at times. I recently started homeschooling my kids and expressed that. Rebecca H. the "Phyc. Dr" here at this joint is only in until 2:45 on certain days. A couple weeks ago she prescribed me a medication. I had a bad reaction and I called the office to see if I could talk to Rebecca. I did not feel ok at all!! I was told she was on vacation and I would need to wait until she returned. No help from anyone! No directions on what to do.... I was just told to wait until my next appointment. Which was a week away!.....feeling how I felt... So today was my appointment and I was unable to attend because I was tied up with homeschooling. I called to reschedule and they dropped me like I was nothing.. Again. They don't care about you as an individual. They care that you make it to all of your appointments so they can get paid . They also make you take a gene sight test to make it easier for them to write your scripts...they get paid for that too! BIG PHARMA PUPPETS!!! Next, attorney General
