Monarch – Raleigh Reviews

I've never been treated so poorly as a patient. My psychiatrist no showed on two appointments in a row, after I waited for nearly an hour I was referred to a provider who would only give me a month of my prescription… and the front office reassured me that a manager would contact me to get me a new provider. That did not happen. The next month I again had to see an urgent care provider who would only give me another month's supply. I called the front office again and was again told someone would reach out to me to get me a new provider. The next month I called the front office again and was told the front office person would both get back to me and would get a prescription sent in for me. That did not happen. Instead I ran out of my prescription and was told I would need to come to their office for a $453 dollar same day appointment to get a refill. This is unacceptable. Patients deserve better treatment.
Unprofessional, unethical, and unsafe. This provider mocked and laughed at me when I disagreed with her. She insulted my parenting and told me to put my child in foster care. Do not trust this person with your… children's mental health. Her name was Brooke Walker.
They are caring, understanding and sensitive.
Caring people from time you come in and leave they don't judge you they help you 💯
A warm experience, was recommended specific therapies and slotted in for fast appointments while in crisis. Someone even asked me if I needed a hug. I did. They have a few different locations and you can go between… them, and offer flexibility via telehealth at home, in office, and face to face visits.
Monarch has always been great to me and continue to do so. They work with you remotely which fits my erratic work schedule. Highly recommend monarch!
In my experience, this facility is a place to start, but not a place to stay if you need consistent, long-term mental health care. The biggest issue has been access to medication. There have been repeated problems with… medication refills and communication between providers and the pharmacy. At one point, my medication was withheld until I scheduled an appointment, even though I had been told I only needed psychiatric follow-ups every six months and it had only been four. The pharmacy informed me I needed an appointment based on instructions they received, yet I was later told that wasn’t the case. Situations like this create unnecessary stress and can be especially harmful for people whose mental health depends on consistent access to medication. Another major concern is the high turnover of therapists. Over the past two years, it has felt like a revolving door. Having to start over with a new therapist every few months means repeatedly retelling deeply personal trauma instead of building on the progress already made. That constant reset makes it difficult to establish trust and continue healing. Mental health treatment requires stability, communication, and continuity of care. Unfortunately, those have been the areas where this facility has fallen short in my experience. I’ve spent the last two years hoping things would improve while searching for more accessible care, but the ongoing issues have made an already difficult journey even more challenging. I hope this review encourages the facility to improve communication, medication management, and provider retention because patients deserve reliable, compassionate care.
Medication management is so hard to get ahold of and will let you go weeks without your medication. Will not answer messages on site or fax from pharmacy.

Everyone with monarch is so friendly and helpful and I am so thankful for what they do, without them i probably would’ve never gotten the help I needed. On top of that I really like the text/email reminders they send… out for appointments lol 👌
Loved my experience at Monarch, I had a wonderful therapist.👍🏾
They are a very negligent staff with poor communication and they constantly mess up appointments with no accountability the doctors are not personable at all and have no real regard for mental health I will be looking… for services else where
I enjoy the service I receive. The therapist were all great. I did not like how I had to switch therapist 3 times but everyone i had i enjoyed.
