National Youth Advocate Program Inc – Newark Detox and Rehab Services
National Youth Advocate Program Inc – Newark carries a listing for intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

National Youth Advocate Program Inc – Newark Reviews and Ratings
Patients and loved ones with experience of National Youth Advocate Program Inc are invited to leave a review here. Say what the program was like day to day, how staff treated you and how leaving treatment was planned.
I was hoping to be put with a therapist with lots of years of experience, but I was only given a guy who has a few years of experience. I was at Shepherd Hill twice this year. I looked on their website and it seemed… that they had a good few programs that might be able to help me but all I'm getting is this this therapist and no case worker. They want me to go on meds, perhaps, but I'm not going to do that since I've not been properly assessed yet. This place is understaffed and cannot meet the critical needs of the community which it serves. I feel like I'm wasting my time with these people, and I have not made any progress. I'm really starting to lose hope. Edit: They finally gave me a caseworker a while back but I had to fire her, too, because they were rolling back services for their clients. Don't go to this joke of a place.
