CCS has uncaring staff, my psychologist didn't help at all with traumas, I was told you are helping me with my analysis of psychology. I wasn't helped to get out of a abuse situation. Meds given me were wrong for me.… The game group was discontinued, the guys used to find game group therapeutic. CCS and there people made my mental health extremely worse

Where do I even start with this place.... Ive had several different "counselors" over the years, but there was really only one good one. I was on the ACT (Assertive community treatment) program from 2023-2025. The ACT… supervisor, Leilani Faber, has on countless times violated mine and other peoples HIPAA, as well as told me that "i cant get enough attention", has limited the crisis phone time to 15 minutes per person, banned me from going out with my peers because i made her mad, and repeatedly made me feel like I was just being lazy because of my disability case pending; she would ask if im looking for work, id say no i need to do disability. And she would be like ok "currently not looking for work." And would make me feel small cosntantly and force other staff to alienate me when she felt i needed them. Other staff... one has an honesty problem, one doesnt show up to appointments, one shows up to appointments half an hour late..... overall i got so stressed i had chest pains.so glad to be where i am now and away from them.

I really wouldn’t even give them any stars spoke with the receptionist, then asked to speak with the office manager, Sarah, I do believe her name was, was terribly rude. I asked if I could speak to one of the counselors… Sandra Lare, who was specifically brought to me through Medicare, and I feel like she was the person that I need to get a hold of for my mothers hospice (very rare case of trauma), they would not let me leave a voicemail with Sandra‘s assistant or leave a voicemail for her. The office manager told me that since I lived in GRESHAM even though, Sandra did telehealth and it’s a rare case, that they had a policy that they could only help people within their community because there were so many people in their community that needed help first. I asked her if that was a policy and she says pretty much it is I asked where it was stated on the website she said it wasn’t. I asked if it was in their paperwork she said it wasn’t and then I knew she was lying and then she told me that their CEO was the one that trained them for that policy to only help the people within their Community. I feel that this is false and that if there is a rare case that it should be considered, I don’t think that their office people are very helpful and I think that she also sounded a little entitled, and was very rude about it I would not recommend this place!!!!!!

Been going to them for a few years; finally decided enough was enough. Firstly, their options for therapists are not good; Joseph and Terry are nice people but I felt they didn't really offer any help, and felt like… they are more focused on telling you want they think you should you do than working with you to find things that work for you as an individual... I decided to switch therapists to a provider in Pendleton who was awesome. After a while she told me I could see her as needed as I was doing well, so I didn't go for a while. Then I get a call from CCS stating they're going to discharge me as a patient and stop refilling my medications (which by the way has improved my life far more than therapy could) because I wasn't going to therapy. I called them and let them know about the provider in Pendleton. Fast forward a few more months and I can't really afford to go to the provider in Pendleton, and as a employee at Good Shepherd, they offer counseling that is contracted through CCS, so I started seeing that counselor. Fast forward again, I have left good shepherd so no longer have access to that counselor (it's only been 4-5 months since seeing them). I've been busy and I forgot to call back and schedule a 3mo follow up with my psychiatrist after a telehealth visit (it has now been 3 mos since last seeing them), I got a letter to remind me. I called to reschedule and get labs due to some medication I'm taking that requires monitoring and they tell me I've been discharged because I haven't seeing a counselor since 2022!! I just don't get it, especially like I said, even an outside counselor stated to follow up as needed and then when I told them they still didn't keep a record of that (last time I saw her was last year) and it seems like they never even reached out to that provider for records when I gave them their information. They also have never sent up to date or completed chart notes to my PCP. And also, how do they not have record of the counseling sessions from one of their own counselors??? I understand that they are contracted but they literally have badges that say they are associated with CCS. Oh well... now to figure out somewhere new to get blood work to make sure my medication levels aren't dangerous! Very dissatisfied.

Each counselor I’ve had this far does not seem like they know what they are doing. They sit back, and validate feelings only. I can honestly say the progress I have made is solely from self help books and videos online.… The majority of reception and medical assistants are unprofessional and rude. They are great at making you feel like a complete inconvenience. It’s honestly sad that those of us on state insurance can’t receive good quality mental health care. I gave it a 2 star because of the therapists I’ve been seeing or had encounters with. They seem very well educated and have given me the best advice vs my counselors. I get the feeling that they do care about my overall wellbeing. I hope that others have a better experience than I do.

I feel like you get what you put into it. My counselor that I see is an amazing counselor and person. I'm looking forward to meeting my new counselor in a couple weeks since mine is going on maternity leave. The staff… is friendly and I feel genuinely cared about.

First counselor was an L. He told me my depression doesn’t exist anymore because I have him. He said I didn’t have to exercise for my mental health because I’m already skinny. This was one appointment and then I asked… for a new one Second counselor was also an L. She had a great reviews allegedly. The entire appointment she talked about herself. Very Mundane things too. I waited six months for an appointment just to have her go off about why she’d rather shop at Fred Meyer’s and do grocery pickup. How is the counselor going to talk 95% of MY appointment. I came here to get help. I feel terrible for anyone coming for help that gets these clowns. I was an RA in college and was a better counselor than these people will ever be.

Don't waste your time and energy at this place; they'll only make you sicker than you already are. Find a place more committed to the service they offer. They canceled my appointment three times—three times! Their lack… of commitment is unbelievable, as is the sheer irresponsibility of the "professional" staff who even cancel online appointments. One star for the reception staff—they're the only ones doing their jobs!

★☆☆☆☆
T M4 years ago

Would rate 0 stars if I could. Please don’t waste your time or energy. They are overbooked, unhelpful, zero compassion, and don’t even bother to call or email you back. They cancelled 30 min before my appointment, and… then claimed my following appointment wasn’t in their computer. They can only offer 30 min sessions once or twice a month, but they’re booked out so far you can get in anyway. Just please look elsewhere for help.

My first visit was nothing to boast about. The atmosphere isn’t as welcoming and comforting as you would want it to be. My counselor asked me questions out of a book or the computer and made no real attempt to connect… to me or my responses to his questions. I didn’t feel heard or that there was any real intent on wanting to focus on getting me the help I needed. He was just like, “Oh, you’re stressed? Here’s a bunch of papers stapled together that talk about what you already know.” The whole experience just left me feeling disappointed. He didn’t even introduce himself when he first came out to the lobby to meet me, so I didn’t even know the guys name. And his office felt like just that…an office. There was nothing even remotely comforting or welcoming about that room. I wouldn’t recommend this place for the mere fact that you’re not going to come out of there feeling like you took a step in the right direction.

The counselors at this place are terrible. A lot of people (myself being one of them) will not just automatically open up and sometimes need prompting from the counselor. And that’s literally their job. Well the lady I… would see would ask me how I’m doing, I would say alright and she would send me on my way. Even if I was upset or crying she never gave me any actual advice she basically just sat there. I think our longest session was about 15 minutes. However the women who prescribed my meds over video chat was very helpful and I felt that I got more therapy from her than my actual counselor. Another thing I hate about this place is the fact that you have to see a counselor for a month before they will set you up with a psychiatrist. Some people can not go a month without medication I just think that’s crazy!

DO NOT come here. They will completely screw you over financially by failing to bill your insurance and sending it to collections instead. My mother had double coverage (primary and secondary insurance) and the… incompetent staff didn’t bother billing either of them. They lied about doing their jobs, sent the bill to Collections, and by the time my poor mother realized what they’d done, it was too late. Collections said we needed to talk to the clinic in order to get THEIR mistake fixed, and we tried, but they still refuse to help. It’s a nightmare and your mental health will be worse off after having to deal with the financial stress. She can’t afford it, and it just keeps collecting interest, and because we cant afford a lawyer to sue them, they’re just gonna get away with ruining her life.

Seen a counselor and belittled accomplishments that are actually big to me, especially after what I've been through in life. His words, "oh what some little degrees" not even knowing what degrees or what I'm working… towards. Took my son to an appointment at 1 we sat there half an hour, after his appointment started I finally asked receptionist and she forgot to check us in. We were sitting right infront of her the whole time and only one other person in the waiting room. Once we did see the child counselor, the whole time a big ol smile on her face, I didn't talk with her about anything that was funny. Very, very unprofessional, so unprofessional I would not trust my child to get guidance there. And worth traveling to see someone else.
