Northpoint outpatient and php program was amazing and the councilors are so helpful and now the after care they have with alumni meetings and events they have really help me stay sober and the community really is… helpful to me and everyone going through any kind of recovery.
This place helped me change my life and, if you let it, it can help you too.
I came to Northpoint from detox and was NOT happy about it (my counselor could tell you all about it), BUT I was ready to embrace the change that I desperately wanted and that meant following the steps laid out for me.… I went in knowing that I knew all the right things to say and had all the answers, and got called out on it pretty quick 🤣🤣. The time that I spent at Northpoint truly changed me for the better; not just as support for my first few months of sobriety, but in changing the way I view myself and my recovery. I have nothing but good things to say about my treatment here. Whitney is brilliant, David's humor and straightforwardness is most relatable and made me comfortable, Wendy was always quick to call me out or challenge my thinking as a way to get me to dig deeper into my "whys." I will never be a fan of yoga or experiential therapy, but my advice is always to try everything at least once. My one on one's with my counselor Lauren gave me so much of confidence and self love that I needed. The people who I met there are still some of the strongest supporters of my recovery, and will continue to be there through Alumni.
Northpoint IOP in Westminster turned my uncertainty into a clear path forward. Their therapists and group sessions provided the structure I needed to build a solid, long-term recovery plan. Coming up on 1 year of… sobriety and I'm proud to be an alum!
Amazing staff and a quality program. I can't say enough about how they helped me take my life back.
Amazing place with great staff. During my time in IOP I was given the tools and community that I needed to stay the course. Would recommend to anyone looking into recovery.
By far, this is the best outpatient program I have attended. There are scientific classes, councelor meetings, dedicated time with a doctor, and amazing people on the same path you are on. 5-stars.
My time at Northpoint was necessary as a vital lifeline to recover from an addiction I couldn’t stop on my own.
Best thing that ever happened to me. Never thought I’d get my life back and truly know I wouldn’t have without Northpoint!
This was an amazing and life changing experience! The staff / counselors / instructors were absolutely incredible. After completing both of the PHP and IOP classes offered here, I can honestly say these folks are in it… for the right reasons and I would recommend it to anybody. If you are looking for these type of programs, you would be hard-pressed to find any better than the people at NorthPoint!
Unfortunately, our experience with Northpoint Recovery Center was profoundly disappointing. My family member was seeking an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for substance use recovery. Before beginning the intake… process, we repeatedly asked whether they accepted our Kaiser insurance because that was a deciding factor for us. We were assured multiple times that they did. Based on those assurances, she completed the intake assessment, was scheduled for her first group session, and even had an individual therapy appointment scheduled for the following day. Then, just minutes before her very first group session was about to begin, she was called into an office and told that they actually did not accept our insurance and that she would not be able to participate. She was told that someone from billing was suppose to have contacted her to discuss the situation, but no one ever called or emailed. This level of disorganization is especially concerning for a substance use treatment program. People seeking recovery are often in a vulnerable position, and the last thing they need is to be misled about insurance coverage after investing time and emotional energy into starting treatment. Because of their mistake, we were sent back to square one and lost valuable time finding appropriate care. I would not recommend Northpoint Recovery Center to anyone looking for reliable addiction treatment. If you value clear communication and want your loved one to begin recovery without unnecessary setbacks, I would look elsewhere.
The PHP and IOP programs are both excellent. I especially love the alumni meetings and community.
Wonderful staff…..
During my time in PHP and IOP at the Loveland location I felt very well supported through all of it by the staff and other patients at the facility. I will continue to use northpoint as a resource and would recommend to… anyone seeking guidance and help through additional and mental health issues.
I ABSOLUTELY loved the PHP program at Northpoint. The connections I was able to make with the counselors and my peers has been invaluable to my recovery journey and I wound recommend their outpatient programs to anyone… who is seeking mental health or substance abuse support.
Through some very challenging times, the staff made the experience enjoyable. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. The environment was calm and inviting making the it easy to adapt and be involved.
Really great place to get help it was an experience great staff and met alot of new people
The IOP Program at Northpoint really expanded on everything that I learned. Upon graduation, I felt ready to really put into use the tools that I was taught. I truly enjoyed the one on one sessions with my therapist and… would highly recommend this program for any current patient doing inpatient treatment. Great aftercare is important and you will get what you need here. Thank you so much Northpoint!!
Was a great facility and made many good connections
This is one of the worst places I've been when I signed up they said they were flexible on time because of work but they lied also I smoke weed and the person and my therapist said I had months to work on it but they… kicked me out as soon as possible but it was because of my tattoos they only support well off people mostly white too. If you want to be treated good go somewhere else. Try anywhere but this places my therapist lied straight to my face. No mercy for working either unless you well off and got money. If you have to work a regular schedule they start at 5 and they don't let you miss it or your out don't believe white they say they lied to me about everything.

I had the privilege of experiencing both the Loveland and Westminster locations for outpatient treatment. What a welcoming, non-judgemental and comfortable place to learn more about what addiction entails and to gain… valuable tools that will assist in building a meaningful and joyful life after addiction. I would recommend this facility to anyone that needs a little education and support!
I was hesitant to enroll into an IOP program for the longest time. It seemed intimidating. With some ongoing issues through life, I decided to finally give it a shot. I am so grateful that I did. This group is so… accepting regardless of anyone’s circumstances. Coming in, I didn’t feel like an outsider but truly a part of a community. Through the program I learned countless skills and techniques to improve how I go about life and deal with my underlying issues. It’s been a blessing to work with the team here and I look forward to continuing my journey that I began here. 10/10 this is life changing.
Aftercare is everything!

North Point was absolutely amazing and totally saved my life. The food was great the staff taught me a lot and were extremely friendly. 10/10
My time at Northpoint Recovery was truly life changing. The support, guidance, and compassion I received there made a difference I can’t fully put into words. The staff treated me with dignity and respect during a time… when I needed it most. They didn’t just help me get sober, they helped me rebuild my mindset, my confidence, and my hope for the future. I honestly don’t believe I would have found lasting sobriety without their help. I am incredibly grateful for everything they did for me.
