Oaks Integrated Care – Trenton Detox and Rehab Services
What Oaks Integrated Care – Trenton offers, on record, is intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.
Both conditions are treated in parallel, which is what the research supports. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

Oaks Integrated Care – Trenton Address, Location and Contact Information
314 East State Street, Trenton, New Jersey, 8608 is the address held. Mercer County covers this area. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.
Call ahead to confirm directions, parking and what a first appointment involves. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Admissions lines are frequently busiest early in the week, which is worth knowing if the first attempt fails.

Oaks Integrated Care – Trenton Reviews and Ratings
Treated at Oaks Integrated Care, or close to a patient who was? Your review can tell future patients what a brochure cannot: how the program felt from the inside.
I dealt with an extremely rude, unprofessional, judgmental staff member who talked down to me when I tried to get a med refill that I desperately needed.
The best thing about this place is the young lady at the front named Shawnera. She always treats me with the upmost respect.
The so called social workers here are a joke. My abuser went here and had a social worker called Mr. Taylor and one day my abuser was well..abusing me. Throwing me around, punching me,etc. and he had called this so… called social worker who laughed at me and did nothing to help me. Didn't tell him to stop, didn't call the cops..nothing. I'll never forget how he laughed and how they called me dramatic and a liar. So yeah I can only imagine how helpful their help is.
Terrible neglected me, missing documents, fake investigators, neglected not a Dr. tell you you do not need a certain amount of care HIPPA violated release forms missing yep… let you be homeless trafficked and went with… dangerous individuals threats rather neglect client then know their organization is growing getting bigger… TAKING ADVANTAGE… care plans caseworkers switching wanting signature just for pay now I have no trust oh information stolen. Poor excuses…. No support system oh and said I am only supposed to get 1 year after hospital release caught them in many lies could have lost my life people go there for yearssssss…
(Woundnt Even Give This Place A Half ★) Would rather be in hell then go to a place like Oaks, MOST DISRESPECTFUL, VERY OPINIONATED IN THE MOST NEGATIVE WAY (both STAFF & CLIENTS), NO ELEVATOR FOR HANDYC This is the… WORST Place BY FAR for Mental Health.
5 years seeing a DR through Oaks, I can attest there's some really gifted and helpful medical professionals here. Front desk is usually very cordial and helpful as well. With that being said, there's an unprofessional… atmosphere being amplified specifically by an extremely aggressive/confrontational nurse taking Urine & BP.
This place is excellent everyone is very nice and aimed to help!!! I had a problem with my script and the whole team up to directors of the whole program got on board to solve the issue with my pharmacy!! It’s much… easier to be in recovery knowing people have your back to make sure you stay on the right track!!!! I am very very grateful for all staff of oaks and the doctors who help with medication management!! Thank you! - Pete C.
I believe the customer service is horrible management is unprofessional the best service is from the lady and gentlemen who normally answer the phone who is not a therapist or in management which is sad that they are… all not friendly and it seems they do not care for there clients sadly it’s a waste of money to go here they are suppose to provide support and help but instead they go to work for a pay check and not the ppl which is sad !!!! Don’t recommend the counselors here could be just the one I have used but still bad for business
I’ve been a patient for about a couple months and I don’t enjoy their services. The workers a douchebags too.
I absolutely love this program. I'm not forced to participate in groups, as I suffer from social anxiety. I meet with my counselor in person at least once a month and biweekly on Teams. My counselor is very… understanding, even when I slip. I never get the feeling I'm being judged. All in all, I'm very pleased with the services that I receive.
6 workers in 2 years, horrible communication, follow-up, no sense of urgency helping with housing & mental health issues
I have watched consistently since 2019 at the absolutely appalling services provided to the patients of this establishment. From weekly group meetings that were canceled or rescheduled without any notice to patients who… most commonly use public transportation. To bi weekly appointments with actual doctors and therapist who consistently had a revolving door or unfamiliar "students" sitting in on some of people's most vulnerable conversations. The nursing staff has been consistently changing never having a set person to speak with about any issues they may be having with lack of communication between doctors and nurses. Moving into monthly visits , where patients are foced to switch doctors after years of consistent treatment with no explanation of why. Only to have new doctors that completely lack any care or compassion for their patients. Bordering on malpractice and just plain disregard for anyone's health or well being. Medications are never filled on time , follow up with patients in any form is non existent, and communication between doctors and other staff is lacking completely. I URGE ANYONE CONSIDERING TREATMENT AT THIS FACILITY TO RECONSIDER! The few good staff members we have had the pleasure of working with DO NOT outweigh the unprofessional and lazy , rude , inconsiderate staff that is the majority at this place.
I am no longer a client at Oaks Integrated Care. My case was closed due to poor attendance (I had debilitating depression). That being said, I enjoyed the program. Discussion was stimulating and case managers were… wonderful. The most important part was that I was not the smartest person in the room—I never had all the answers, or even the right answers. I consider myself to be very smart and eager to learn and contribute to discussion. I enjoyed the fact that I was able to learn from both the case managers running the group and the peers I was in group with. The groups were so stimulating I would not play on my phone during group. In comparison to Medallion, which bored me to tears. I played on my phone so much at Medallion that by the time I’d get back home, I have used about forty percent of my battery. At Oaks, my charge would be in the mid to high 90s because I was not on the phone. In the past near eleven years since my diagnosis (in 2008, age 17), I have been in four recovery programs. Oaks is, by far, the best mental health recovery program. If I ever felt the need to return to a day program, I would go back to Oaks, hands down. Group therapy should not bore, but stimulate. Oaks is the only program that has kept me engaged. Like I mentioned before—I was not the smartest. There were others who knew more than me, and that was refreshing in a world where I was the smartest most of the time. I would suggest Oaks to anyone looking for a recovery program. The case managers are very friendly, groups are stimulating—you will not feel the need to play with your electronics. It is also close to me (I live about a mile away). Just an overall excellent program. The schedule procedures for when groups ran—so there was group variety, letters A-E and every day was a different set of groups. The only thing I did not like was the five minute break between groups—I think they should be a little longer—maybe a ten or fifteen minute break to give clients more time to smoke or use the restroom and sign up for the next group. Overall, five ⭐️
I've been going to Oaks since January 2018 and I absolutely LOVE going and all the people are so nice
I got kicked out the program because I don't talk in group but I have social anxiety and I just started the program. I'm going to miss my friend they made my depression worse
